We usually ride this a minimum of 5 times every trip. Can never get enough of it. Just a classic, feel-good, attraction that comforts me and reminds me of my childhood in so many ways.
we ride it about 2-3 times every trip. So magical when you come around that corner and the stars just shine in this infinite universe with this incredibly moving music. My heart could just burst
I really love the new version of this attraction. You feel like you're actually traveling back in time, and you forget about your worries, if only for a brief moment. The ending could use revamping though.
the plans actually got cancelled bc of the whole pandemic. kinda happy bout that, but it would have been cool to see what the planned project was going to be
SimpliSam plans have not been completely cancelled as of yet, but do to the aftermath of the pandemic and minor depression, a large majority of Epcot future world plans have been put on a hiatus. The main issue of which is that Disney wants to have as little construction going on for the 50th anniversary year therefore we won’t know what happens until that is over but more announcements will be coming in the coming weeks or months.
The redux is probably going to happen sooner or later once things get back to normal. The whole problem of the current "communication" theme being constantly outdated still stands. My question now though is if they're still keeping it closed for now? Because it was scheduled for shutdown before the pandemic ever started.
Tbh I think Scar was the best narrator for the ride, hopefully when they eventually do the update for the ride, we get a new narrator, even though the current one is good, I would like to see what they have in mind for a new one
It feels like I am home when we are on this ride. This has been my son's favorite ride since he was a kid. This year he is bringing his girlfriend to experience the ride with him. He is now 25!
This is my favorite ride at Disney and I don't really know why. I can't wait to take my youngest back to experience this. She was only nine months old the last time she rode it! I think it will be much more fun at the age of seven.
Walt would be proud, it’s just what he would have wanted, something that talked about the future and past, educational but fun, everyone can ride it, and it has a great theme song, Disney pulled this off so well
Anyone else go here not only for the amazing meaning of it all but to cool off and relax after a full day of walking everywhere? We always came here to relax about at 5. 😄 Still one of my favorite rides to sit back, relax and just enjoy
who else listens to this as many times as they can in a day? I'm homeschooled, so I can listen to it while I do my school, and it's amazing! (I always smell the burning library for some reason!)
I just recognized ur Channel. I was like: wait, is that Theme park worldwide?. I love ur channel! Ur channel made me happy for the past decade. And when I was going through hard times. Ur channel inspired me to travel around the world to visit other theme parks.
There is a short part where the music gets a little to loud and I always expect her to yell "WOULD YOU TURN THAT DOWN!?!" And then go back to being polite and proper continuing her narration
I enjoy this version of the attraction, but here are some things I tend to feel about it: The music is lush and grandiose and it makes you feel good, but it's not really memorable like the previous version's. I adore Judi Dench, but by no fault of her own this was not one of her best projects. The script seemed "dumbed down" to me, and the ride's message/purpose seems to have gotten lost. The Jeremy Irons version was, in my opinion, pure perfection (I still get chills listening to the soundtrack) but Disney parks always evolve and change with the times. It'll be fun to see how it gets updated over the next 20 years.
ShootAndSpin Another thing that sucks about the new version of Spaceship Earth is that during the Renaissance scene where there's a guy mixing paint, a guy painting fruit, and a guy sculpting is that the window in between the painter and the sculptor is partly closed, so you can barely see the city in the background. Plus, the music by Edo Guidotti that was used in the Jeremy Irons version of Spaceship Earth was so awesome it gives me goosebumps! Now, the music by Bruce Broughton used in the Judi Dench version is nowhere close to goosebumps. If you want to know when they partly closed the window, it was June 2015.
I Saw Communicore Weekly's Setting for their shows on this ride by the way this is me and my mom's favorite Epcot ride. thanks for uploading the current version of the soundtrack.
I truly love Spaceship Earth, but I wish they would do some refurbishment to the track and cars. You can really feel that Ker-PLUNK everytime you move on to a new segment of track.
@Josh Goodstein, Because the ending is similar to Horizons. Also, As I told somebody, The future has caught up to most of Epcot today anyway. The things that they talked about, showcased, and experimented with in the old Spaceship Earth in Communications, we already have today. - Dwight
Unfortunately we don't have an area on our website to download this from. But please bookmark us and visit often for some of your favorite Disney attractions.
@Josh Goodstein, I`ll put it to you this way. I want Dreamfinder back in Journey Into Imagination. I want the Original Universe of Energy back, but that's not gonna happen, because I don`t sponsor them. If you disagree with this version of Spaceship Earth the way it is now, What if I bring up the word, " HORIZONS " ? Sound anywhere familiar to you? - Dwight
Every time I ride this ride, it always stops at least twice. Idk if it's my bad luck or... The first time, it stopped on the part before you go into the cinema section and the part where you go down backwards at the end. The second time, it stopped at the beginning when you go up the lift hill, in the end in the matrix area (if you've been to Spaceship Earth anytime recently you know what I mean), and in the end where you go down backwards.
Spaceship Earth is a continually moving ride. The reason it stops is because they need to pause the ride to allow a disabled person to transfer in or out of one of the cars... It's nothing to do with the ride itself but the fact that the moving conveyor belt where you transfer into/out of the cars is too fast for a disabled person in a wheelchair to transfer. Thus, the pause in the ride.
"Remember how easy it was to learn your ABC's? Thank the Phoenicians ... They invented them." ❤️
Don't forget about that unknown Egyptian who invented papyrus paper!
Yea, he's always pounding the reeds flat.
*venetians
James, it is Phoenicians. Not Venetians.
Right you are, my bad - i've just googled it.
It sounded like venetians!
This is the Disney Equivalent of ASMR
Stephen Reed straight facts😂
Right? Bout to “ rest my eyes” as my dad used to say on this attraction when I was a little boy. Now it makes sense!
This ride inspires me all the time....I am never bored I can't wait for the refurbished ride...
Love it!
..... It's also air conditioned!
I worked at EPCOT last year and i miss this a lot
Doctor: you have 25 minutes left to live
Me:
+ the 10min I'm willing to stand in line for it for if I have 35min to live.
@@Ipoop7colors + the many hours it takes to drive there if I have that long
Sonny this is Disney it’s called Fastpass.
Doctor: “But this is 25 minutes and 34 seconds.”
God: “I’ll allow it.”
The smell of Rome Burning is awesome as well :D
Okay Nero.
I can almost smell the weird smell while I listen to this
Doesn't beat that musty smell on Pirates of the Caribbean!
Mmm yes that oily smell!
Funny Quackers 😁
Paige Livesay yes, it has a moldy smell on the ride. kind of. 😕
Its The fake flame smell it brings back alot of memories
I really needed this right now. It's like a warm hug.
I really love the new version of this attraction. You feel like you're actually traveling back in time, and you forget about your worries, if only for a brief moment. The ending could use revamping though.
Oddly spesific but true.
Yeah I I know I love it, specially if you went to mission space code orange before spaceship earth it's a haven to recover
I know all the words to this ride I listen to this like 5 times a day no joke a true Disney fan right here
Thought I was the only one! Awesome!
I would say you’re weird, but I listen to this every night to help me fall asleep.
@Leo...I love it, that is a great idea!!!
It's being changed!! 😭
Me too! Makes me sooo happy!
gonna be sad to see this go in a few months this was the best narration of the ride
the plans actually got cancelled bc of the whole pandemic. kinda happy bout that, but it would have been cool to see what the planned project was going to be

Judi Dench doesn't hold a candle to Jeremy Irons.
"Our spaceship Earth"
Gets me every time
7:21 best quote from the whole ride, makes me cry knowing I'm not there
It feels like I am home when we are on this ride. This has been my son's favorite ride since he was a kid. This year he is bringing his girlfriend to experience the ride with him. He is now 25!
I can SMELL this ride even though I'm thousands of miles away...
that lovely bbq burnt smell!!!
mmmm burning Rome
This is my favorite ride at Disney and I don't really know why. I can't wait to take my youngest back to experience this. She was only nine months old the last time she rode it! I think it will be much more fun at the age of seven.
She won't get to see it in this incarnation 😔 they're updating the soundtrack, score, and scenes after the Revolution
I listen to this on a Bluetooth speaker 3 times a day. I’m that big of a Disney Addict. I miss you Disney World. 😥
14:05 my favorite part. I love the Industrial Revolution part :)
Have you thanked the Phoenicians yet today?
One of my favorite rides in all of WDW!
I too find this one of my favorites, and never tire of riding it.
Another favorite at Epcot - France (with it's nice movie and music).
Why am I not in Disney World RIGHT NOW!?!?!?!
Because life isn't perfect
Bc your broke. You spent all your money on UA-cam premium.
Coronavirus
No Disney for you!
Taking my daughter for Christmas. See you all there! Look for me, I'll be the guy with the biggest smile on!!
My favorite will always be the Jeremy Irons version, but the music in this one is just as good!
Walt would be proud, it’s just what he would have wanted, something that talked about the future and past, educational but fun, everyone can ride it, and it has a great theme song, Disney pulled this off so well
Love this ride! Thanks for posting!
3:33 I don't even know why I love it so much
Sitting in class right now. As soon as I get out, I'm going to go ride this, even if its the only thing I get to do this evening.
omg ur so lucky to live by Disney! i live nearly 1000 miles away, so its a 2 hour fight to get there. :(
Man, for me it's a 20 hour drive to Orlando. I do go every winter. It's usually the highlight of my trip.
851 miles for me
Disney Street about 1,000 for me
Over 4,000 for me...
Beautiful! Thank you very much for sharing!
Anyone else go here not only for the amazing meaning of it all but to cool off and relax after a full day of walking everywhere? We always came here to relax about at 5. 😄 Still one of my favorite rides to sit back, relax and just enjoy
Thanks for posting this. I shared this with my friend who is blind so she could enjoy the ride too
My fav part is when they enter the renaissance with the 'Aleluya!'
I can practically smell the fire in the Rome portion
Me too
Omg yesssss
Yesss! I just received my "Rome Burning" candle and it's lit as I'm listening to this. Sooo SURREAL!
who else listens to this as many times as they can in a day? I'm homeschooled, so I can listen to it while I do my school, and it's amazing! (I always smell the burning library for some reason!)
Her voice is amazing 😆❤️
I love this, thanks for sharing!
I just recognized ur Channel. I was like: wait, is that Theme park worldwide?. I love ur channel! Ur channel made me happy for the past decade. And when I was going through hard times. Ur channel inspired me to travel around the world to visit other theme parks.

Love this ride. Thank you.
Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this!!!
i was looking through judi dench videos just to hear her nostalgic voice. then i see this. just what i need right now 💗
wow i’m really out here in the middle of my freshman year wishing life was simple again
“Let’s have some fun creating the future shall we?” ❤❤❤
I hope computers will some day have smell-a-ivision.
Porn would become a lot less appealing though...
Fabulous work. This is our favorite attraction at Walt Disney World. We rode it five times on our last trip and can't wait to see it again.
There is a short part where the music gets a little to loud and I always expect her to yell "WOULD YOU TURN THAT DOWN!?!" And then go back to being polite and proper continuing her narration
This is a piece of history.
Is it sad I'm listening to this wile chilling in the wilderness lodge right now 😂.
LOVE IT!!! Can't get enough of it! But where's the narration of the ride being delayed/suspended temporarily and to stay in your vehicles?? LOL!!
Why is this so relaxing?
The way she says papyrus though.
Also, I like the "like a grand miraculous" part
Epcot and Disney World are awesome
I enjoy this version of the attraction, but here are some things I tend to feel about it:
The music is lush and grandiose and it makes you feel good, but it's not really memorable like the previous version's. I adore Judi Dench, but by no fault of her own this was not one of her best projects. The script seemed "dumbed down" to me, and the ride's message/purpose seems to have gotten lost. The music in the Renaissance scene still gives me chills, it was fantastic! +Kansas King #99
I meant the older music of course ;)
I Saw Communicore Weekly's Setting for their shows on this ride by the way this is me and my mom's favorite Epcot ride. thanks for uploading the current version of the soundtrack.
It's nice to have a ride with such a positive look at humanity and its development.
great job love the clean narration
when your going to disney in year and your already excited
I could ride on this all day if they'd let me. And if they added some padding to those fiberglass seats.
I'm going to go up in my attic and watch this, because my attic smells like this when all the windows are shut for a long time.
This is my favorite ride
Love this!
I don't mind the Judi Dench narration, but those touch screens and whole new interactive thing....ugh.
Kiefer Sutherland should be the next narrator
Just thinking about this ride makes me happy. It's a disney icon for sure.
I truly love Spaceship Earth, but I wish they would do some refurbishment to the track and cars. You can really feel that Ker-PLUNK everytime you move on to a new segment of track.
onewithacake they are! It will be closing for 2.5 years. A major retrofit is coming!
T Plugowsky sike
Love this
Sad... I love to listen to it while driving.
awesome !
There have been better and worse versions of Spaceship Earth, but it's always been amazing.
Her voice made me fall asleep on the ride.
The old version was superior. The old finale would bring a tear to my eye every time.
Press F To Thank The Phoenicians
Prefer Jeremy but Judi’s version is lovely to listen to as well.
I really want to get the globe as a tattoo as I grew up basically in Disney.
If you go to one of the youtube to MP3 websites you can download it. Just make sure that the website supports 20 minute videos or more.
I like the ol ball without the new lights too. I hope they turn them off sometimes. Long live EPCOT.
Im not crying! you are!
@Josh Goodstein,
Do you have any better ideas for the ride?
- Dwight
12:58 is the only part where you could have done slightly better with editing. Otherwise it's amazing! Great job!
The ride itself may not be as good as the previous version, but the score is way better.
"That magical beat drop" - My brother
Super Job M From The James Bond 007 Movie Goldeneye. X
Oh, what fun it would be to take Wendy Darling, Peter Pan, Alice Liddell and Mary Poppins on this ride!
This is giving me Serious The Last StarFighter Vibes.
I can smell the library burning, love that smell
I could almost smell the musty area at 10:02 listening through my Bose Quiet Comfort 15 Noise cancelling headphones
Is there a name to the song that plays at the beginning and end? I heard it in another video
the script writing here sounds better than the irons script but ive never ridden either and only have you tube audios to go by...
Thank you! How did you obtain this audio? Do you have a HQ download link?
What happen. I can't watch it on my Moblie.. Did you change the settings???
Aw, ok thanks! Its strange the other post don't have the same message. Just this specific one.
@Josh Goodstein,
Because the ending is similar to Horizons.
Also, As I told somebody, The future has caught up to most of Epcot today anyway. The things that they talked about, showcased, and experimented with in the old Spaceship Earth in Communications, we already have today.

There is no better way to write your last few papers of the semester then imagining your on spaceship earth
Wow that was Mrs. Calloway, Commander Root or Miss Lilly narrating from Spaceship Earth
Judi Dench was the voice of Commander Root in Artemis Fowl, Mrs. Calloway in Home on the Range, and Miss Lilly in Angelina Ballerina
17:11 Wait, is that music coming from the computers in the computer scene?
My favorite soundtrack on Disney property
The end. Or should I say the beginning! Of your future.
Unfortunately we don't have an area on our website to download this from. But please bookmark us and visit often for some of your favorite Disney attractions.

Can’t believe their getting rid of the best ride in Disney (just my opinion don’t come at me😂)
GG
Every time I ride this ride, it always stops at least twice. Idk if it's my bad luck or...

By 'disabled person', that just means, 9 times out of 10, someone morbidly obese
The ride got stuck once and we were right next to the paper boy yelling "Extra Extra, read all about it" for 20 minutes!
Oh nooooo that’s my least fav part, he’s always so loud
Anybody have a video where it’s just her voice? Music is a little too loud
