only california's version closed. Florida's park still has their's which I hope they don't do the same thing.
@@Striljr yea but the california version is in hollywood so its the actual hollywood tower hotel and i think its a better experience than the florida one
I live in Southern California and I would never want to travel 6 fucking hours to Florida for nothing only to just go on a ride
@@Log-On-Line I respect your opinion, and even though Florida’s version is in a desperate need of an update, I feel it’s layout from transitioning from one shaft to another is actually pretty interesting and fits with the story.
I didn't even know there were added sound effects in the elevator. That's how loud people scream. :)

I’m riding the one in Orlando next month. I was also there in October it’s really awesome. I have video of riding it on my channel and freaking out over the drops

So going back to this video for some nostalgic times of the tower of terror, were those suspenseful bell noises always there? They probably were but you couldn’t here it because of the screaming

I was always so engrossed by the hallway scenes that the drops took me by surprise even though I knew they were coming. I miss the Tower of Terror
My cousins and I jumped on the trampoline while someone sat down (eyes closed) and we used this soundtrack to make it seem real! Thank you!

in 2021 was first time i went to the tower of terror now i want to goo back!
It's like you can really hear the sounds and what's going on without all the screaming in your ear. (But I know people can't help it)
I was a Cast Member when Tower opened.. so much fun
I remember when me and my brother rode this ride his glasses flew off his face during the drop and was hovering in the air and he had to reach up and grab them. 🤣
That happened to my best friend, except his flew off and smashed against the ceiling

The suspense vibes in this soundtrack gave me goosebumps! 😱
The first time I road this ride I remember feeling exactly the same thing. I had to try to find the audio for this because I remember feeling that way. The way it builds suspense and the way the voice actor did the voice for this one was so good. Its so menacing and dark and intense. He's like a pro ghost story story teller. I remember it would give me this frisson like feeling where I too would get goosebumps. I was so moved and convinced by how well this attraction presents itself. I'm still sad to not see it there any longer. :(

It truly is a shame, they just want to pack Marvel garbage left and right into the parks. If they could, they'd probably shove Marvel content down our throats too. What's even sadder is that the new ride isn't any more popular than the original one was and it doesn't fit into a theme park themed after California. It was such a clusterf... seeing the Red Car Trolley go down the street into whatever that "structure" is at the end of the tracks.
@@TrashBulldogProductions yep exactly. I loved the creepy 1930’s feel to the ride as well. It made you feel like you were in that time, especially the creepy old 1920’s and 30’s jazz music echoing throughout the hotel

Rumor is they are removing the Twilight Zone references and creating an original story. It might be more like Tokyo’s, or it might be completely different.

Guardians of the Galaxy mission: Breakout! is a much better ride in my opinion. Sure, I was really sad to find out that Tower of Terror was leaving but once I rode the new ride I instantly fell in love with it.

I don't know but to me the Rob Serling ride narration for this Disneyland version sounds pretty off compared to the Disney World version. The Disney World ride narration version done back in the early 90's was pretty spot on.
JohnTC9 the recording in the orlando tot is the tv show narration that tot focuses on the twilight zone series it self the dca one was more focused as if you are part of the show
O no I was referring to the differences in the sounds of the ride voice narration from the Florida & California versions. Since I wrote that comment I discovered that Mark Silverman did the ride narration & part of the pre-show (everything after the words ''this as you may recognize is a'') for both versions. Since in 1994 the Florida version opened & California's version opened 10 years later, I am guessing after 10 years Mark Silverman couldn't get the Rob Serling voice spot on when he recorded the DCA version (which after 10 years is understandable). Correct me if I am wrong but in your comment it sounds like you are saying that they took the narrations directly from the TV show for the Florida version, Is that what you meant?
JohnTC9 not really what i mean is the way mark natrated it disney wanted him to narrate just like rod seriling did on the tv show in the orlando one in the dca one the story focuses more on the hotel the narration is more like a horror movie

O yeah I know that that the preshow of the Florida & California are identical (exception of hotel exterior shot). I was just referring in the original comment that the ride audio portion of the DCA dose not sound exact (voice wise) when Mark Siliverman did the recording 10 years later trying to redo Rob Serling voice as when he did it 10 years before for the Florida version. I am basically just saying that the voice in the DCA version rides pre-show (same as Florida) dose not match 100% with the ride portion since they were done 10 years apart is what I am referring to. I am not saying he did a bad job or anything just pointing out that after 10 years he was not able to do the spot on Rob Serling voice he was able to 10 years earlier. I get what you are saying that they were trying to make it more in to a horror story my comment was specifically on the voice itself not the story.
