One of the saddest thing about this song is all the old Architects fans complaining and shitting on it cause it's not what they're used to without realising how beautiful it sounds. Same as Dead Butterflies. When all the chores come during the last section, it truly gives me chills. Those are from Choir Noir who actually made other chores during the album and a cover of Doomsday back then. Check it out if you didn't heard it, it's really beautiful.

Fun Fact: On the vinyl album, if you let this song play out forever, the static at the end keeps looping. Amazing song though!

For the song, I really really love it ... but ... the choir and orchestra in the end are a bit too "cheesy" for my liking. Still a great song though. For the album, like you said, trying new things was the one logical thing to do and I also think that it worked out great. Of course there are a lot of people who only have negative things to say because overall it's not as heavy as their "older stuff" but like it's still beautiful and passionate music so why not just treat it with respect? Like, not everyone has to like it but some things people say about the album is just straight up mean and disrespectful to Architects' musicianship I think.
That's what I liked about your videos about it because you could still appreciate the passion and work even in the songs you didn't like as much. That's what it should be about!
For me the album will always remind me of the times we're living in right now and therefore sure holds a lot of emotional value for me and I'm also really glad I liked it and wasn't disappointed haha.
