- Today I take a drive through North Las Vegas! North Las Vegas encompasses a wide area of the northern Las Vegas valley and the neighborhoods and communities can differ widely depending on which area you find yourself in. In this video, we'll go through a few different areas and you can see for yourself what these communities offer.

Thanks for the non bias videos, realtors are obsessed with Summerlin and Henderson but ignore other nice places in the las Vegas Valley.
I try to be as unbiased as possible and give all the information possible. Thank you for the kind words
@@jackgraham1687 Yes, I noticed that in all your videos that I had previously watched. Thx
I first moved to Vegas back in 2012 and first home brand new community on Lakemead/Pecos a nice starter home for 80k one car garage/3bed. Negative part was I freakin got robbed 3x within my first year. I’m glad that I now lived in Southern Highlands. Wish I had these type of review videos back then.
Thanks for sharing! This is the biggest problem with a lot of buyers. They buy a home based on the furniture and design and ignore the neighborhood around it
@@jackgraham1687 Jack, there was no FaceTime back then! I couldn’t see the neighborhood, it was plain photos off of Craigslist in 2012, so I just hit the chase and bought the house through emails, notary, and faxed documents! Not even a docusign existed! Like I said I’m glad there are reviews like this for future home buyers in our city. Not being bias, but hopefully that area of this town had changed for the better.
@jackgraham1687 what's your work number jack?
I plan on moving here from louisana
For anyone reading this, I lived in North Las Vegas for over 5 years near Nellis Air Force base and I gotta say I never encountered anything bsd in this general area and I absolutely loved living in Vegas. I plan to move back, hoping to find a place in the neighborhood again. If you're on the fence about moving to Vegas, I would say do it, you won't regret it. Unfortunately I had to move due to work related reasons.
Thanks for the tour stay until the end. I can’t wait only 9 more days and we will be heading out to Vegas to drive through the new developments and see all that is going on in Las Vegas in person. See u soon!
For sure! Looking forward to it
Truly excellent and informative video as I plan my move to the area in 3-4 months. It was a big help to get the visual side of things.
I watched until the end. I love seeing all the roads when a licensee drives around.
You always do a great job! Thanks for the info!
this is an unbias no bs down to earth video…. especially for someone who is fromnout of town…. thx…
Thanks Jack, another great video man. You do great work. Very helpful.
Glad you think so, I appreciate the kind words!
Hey Jack, I stayed until the end! Thanks bud
nice representation of OLD & NEW NLV!! folks only hear about the old NLV and never go further! There are a lot of RE Agents who do the same thing which sucks but oh-well. I moved here to LV back in 2022. I rented a house on the eastside for a year before purchasing a house here on the eastside. Being from ChiTown, I lived in LosAngeles so I know what run-down areas look like. If you could do a video about East LV and the areas that are around the base and further north like sunrise manor/mountain area, up to the LasVegas Speedway, that would be great.
You said it, "Jack, this the perfect video for me". 👍
I came across your channel today and sat through 2 over an hour videos each, then i get to this one and you add in the statistics. Very interesting that you chose to do it for North Las Vegas and not the others.
Hi Elisha, I always try to improve the channel and give as much value as possible. This video is the latest I took and added more information. All the future videos of all neighborhoods will have this information as well.
I stayed until the end. Man, your camera was pointing south at my development on the north side of Centennial.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, a great spaghetti western (filmed in Italy). My bias, you know I am a big NLV boomer. Great tour. It has not in the past taken a Fist Full of Dollars😁to buy in NLV, but that may be changing. BTW, I love Jerry's Nugget.
Richmond American finished by T home development. They own a lot of property along Centennial. Watercolor is a beautiful development. Good point about Watercolor and the high HOA. But, there is a new Sprouts, Smiths and Carl Jr with an El Pollo Loco down the street.
Of the three 'cities' of the Valley, NLV has the cheapest business license for companies. This is why so many businesses are opening up here.
There's a lot of street improvements in my neck of NLV, for obvious reasons. I am just a bunny hop south of the new Villages at Tule Springs, one of the four master planned communities in NLV: Tule Springs, El Dorado, Aliente and Valley View. All streets will interconnect. I bought when the price per square foot was 59 bucks. I will be picking Jack's experience, as I now plan to put money into my place. (and, yes Jack, I will pay for your time and, of course, expertise, on the improvements which are marketable) This will be my forever Townhome.
I do like my 'hood and this side of the valley is at least worth a look.
What about air traffic noise, from Nellis? Generally it is quiet. But, when drills are running, you can look up and see your tax money at work. I have been in areas in Henderson which has a lot of air traffic noise from the airport.
I call it the same, as well, Revere, like Paul Revere.
I really like your video and how you mapped it out for us. You've done a great job thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Let me know if you need any help
Jack this video helped us so much, especially being out of town and trying to relocate
I’m glad it was helpful
Hello Jack I appreciate the drive of North Las Vegas because I thought North Las Vegas wasn’t a good area to live not knowing the area have other locations to live. Please continue to do these videos of Las Vegas. I’m thinking about moving to Las Vegas Veronica
Glad you found it helpful. Feel free to reach out when you are ready to make the move, I’ll be glad to help!
Thank you for the nice driving tour great job! I liked the Alicante development.
Glad you enjoyed it! Let me know if you need any help
I have been wanting this video because I plan to move to Las Vegas in a year or 2 (I will call you when I am ready). I have been wondering about the new communities in NLV and appreciate the view of new NLV. The area is much nicer than I thought. I will keep that area in mind.
I’m glad it was helpful!
I watched the whole video, thanks Jack 😊 good job
You are welcome Darci, if you ever need help buying a home, I would like to assist!

North Las Vegas is not a neighborhood it's a city.

Hey Jack I stayed until the end. Please do more of these . Really get a realistic idea of the area with you doing the driving tour. Please consider doing some 55+:communities.
Always watch to the end. Appreciated.. Especially single story homes ..😊
Love it thanks!
Hi Jack,
I have good friends who live in North las vegas around the Decatur/ Elkhorn area. They have been living there for several years and really enjoy the area. We have spent time with them at their lovely home and even been to the Gilcrease orchard not to far from their home. Lots of shopping centers there and good restaurants, etc...gun stores and I believe a shooting range.
Today I just returned from being in Las Vegas for a few days. The amount of people and traffic around the strip area is no fun. Once inside the Wynn resort, we stayed put. Lots of road construction too all around that area.
North Las Vegas would be a better choice to live than anywhere around the strip...our friends are really trying to get us to move over by them, plus they live in a gated community...thanks for the info in your video. ...
Hi Dee,
Looking forward to having you out here in Vegas, it's a great place to move to!
You are AWESOME Jack! I'm gonna call you AMAZON PRIME cuz you ALWAYS Deliver!
You're the best!
Keep the long vids coming. Will you be doing a long video on the other areas of Las Vegas? Stayed until the very end!
Hi Tracy, I have already made several video tours of neighborhoods in Vegas!
Great video. I am coming in August. I will go look at Fullerton Cove area. Was looking for a townhome/ condo but some of these houses are “ more bang for your buck” so to speak. Actually can you show me some reasonable priced townhomes anyway? Thanks
Hi Jack, thanks for the video, I am always defending No. Las Vegas. I stayed until the end.😊
Hi Val, it is a nice place to live! Especially where we got your house!
Hey Jack, I stayed until the end of the video. Fantastic, I will be moving out there in a year and I will definitely contact you.😊
Please do! Looking forward to helping you!
Thanks for an excellent video, Jack! I had always heard negative things about NLV, and it's great to see how nice the north side of NLV is. I've watched your other neighborhood tours, which are always very informative and I always watch till the end.
thanks for driving us around jack
You are welcome
Thanks...stayed to the end of the travel
the first street looked like MLK. Aliante is nice but lots of home break-ins there nice area though. Lone Mountain is nice but pricey. Make sure you let everyone know that many communities are HOA's and that they will often be living besides renters. Some of which have childcares running out of their home. Just because you live in an HOA community doesn't mean they dont allow people to rent their homes out. That is the situation we are in now. We live off of La Madre. I do love that much of north las vegas is quiet . People dont go around blasting music usually out of their houses or even there cars. Was used to that in california! What realtor would you recommend for Pahrump? beautiful drive! Thanks for taking the time to make the video!
Wonderful video!
Glad you liked it!
If you ever need help buying feel free to reach out!
I’m a painting contractor what’s the best area I could get a lot of jobs Henderson are north Las Vegas ?
You blew through red lights and stop signs all over this video. I think I'd be scared to go out house hunting with you!
Hey you need someone quick that could snatch the right deal for you…
Very imformative, well done..I'm moving from memphis tn I'm the owner of a food truck business(barbeque) and north las vegas might be a good place to land..thanks jack!
Very cool! Let me know if you need any help!
I will most definitely!..your video was heart felt as if I already live there.looking forward to seeing more!
I've honestly never seen an HOA that did anything other than take people's money
Thanks
Thank you
I’m confused. The first part I’m the video you’re in the west side which is Las Vegas. Are you just comparing the type of neighborhood versus the old side of north Las Vegas?
You are the best realtor to watch to learn about neighborhoods. First that looks real. Please do more like these. I never stay to the end, you left me wanting to learn more.
Stayed till the end
your video seems more objective. I've watched my husband and I want to retire somewhere but can't find a place with good restaurants light entertainment, and yet a good stay at home environment until we watched your video. We have visited Vegas since 1998 so now we're thinking about retiring in July give you a call then thank you for the Intel
You are welcome, I will give you even more intel when you call, but these neighborhood tours are a great start!
Looking forward to helping you
watched your informative video until the end this gives a vision of the actually area. you should do more driving video
As a former VietNam era Navy wave; Having a V.A. is a plus for me. 😎
Stayed until the end 😊
Thanks Shawn!
Can you give me leads in where to live that is safe for someone to ride their bike much of the time due to low traffic conditions and it has designated bike lanes that (as I am a renter) also is under $1000/month? I currently reside in the Las Vegas region and from my experience the only times it is SOMEWHAT safer to ride a bike are either early morning Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I want to live in an area where when I am done working for the day I can hop on my bike any time and do a long distance bike ride any day of the week.
First thing I noticed is that region is sorely lacking in bike safety and bike lanes from what I could see. Best of Luck!
I stayed till the end! My husband and I are looking to move here in the near future and this was the best detailed video with all the information we needed about north Las Vegas, will definitely contact you when we’re ready to purchase 😊
Hi Selena, thanks for the feedback! I’m looking forward to helping you. Give me a call if you need anything
Can you buy land out there to build a home?
Yes you can!
I'm moving out there soon from Louisiana.
Where is the cell number jack I can't find it ?
I appreciate you !
Hi Adam, it’s (702) 606-4815
Looking forward to helping you!
I grew up in Vegas and hated it , I moved away to Washington state when I was 18 years old and never went back to Vegas at all.
It’s not for everyone!
And the award for the most useless comment goes to...@lancehaynes448
Maybe along time ago NLV was not the greatest but like many parts of Canada/America are going through a re birth and its not as bad as we want to make it out to be and afterall middleclass go where we can afford to live.
Exactly!
Nellis is definitely not a good area. I lived there for 17 years and use to Uber up there. Ummm no way.tfs
I stayed until the end
that my las vegas
It's not the worst ghetto area I've seen.😂
That’s funny Jimmy
You need to learn the area before you try to sound like you know the are. First that area is NOT north Las Vegas , that area is still Las Vegas it’s called the Historical Westside. That was the black Mecca area for blacks in Vegas, the area where famous stars came after hours from the strip. Like Sammy Davis Jr, Nat king Cole, Frank Sinatra, etc. plus it’s not section 8 those are residential houses here people have lived for generations. Had some of the most exciting night life and plenty of history. Tell the people that section 8 is all over Vegas even in Summerlin, mountains edge, and the lakes. Really upsetting people like you try to come here and try to tell about the neighborhoods, just to get clicks.
Thank you! So many know it alls. 😬
Been here since early 70's, so pretty clear on what's what!! Also, Nellis Blvd, Lake Mead, Bonanza etc... is EAST Las Vegas. Geez
You should purchase and use an Electric Nose Hair Trimmer If you plan on doing more videos with the camera pointing at your nostrils
