This time I didn’t. Before when I modded a recip saw I needed to on that one. It matters on the terminal in the tool. They’re some that have different ones internally but will still do the same thing.
@@CCWiz67 That's good to know, I was getting conflicting info online, so maybe different tools are made different or when they were made. Companies see we can do something simple so they change stuff. but some tools I don't use often so it would be good to have a cheaper option without having to buy all new batteries, thanks
@@tommysanfilippo3165 no it's not, I thought it was at the time I posted it because it wouldn't work. but eventually I was able to make it work. It turned out I just wasn't making good contact and had to remove more material
so the over discharge(battery low shut-off) circuitry is bypassed??? GREAT JOB btw 👍👍👍
Worked like a charm!!! Thank you sir!
Or you can just clip the tab extending out on the bauer tool. The dewalt battery fits
I do this very adaptations with a purpose made adapter. Nothing needs to be modified.
so you din't add any resistor or anything else?

I did this same thing and after I made the cuts I realized that the polarity is reversed on DeWalt batteries
