Link to the Ebay seller is included in the description. The adapter does work on some Hercules tools just not some of the newer tools it seems. See description for tools known to work and not work so far. *Update: The seller sent me a revised adapter with a toggle switch (not for sale yet in May-2024 to test) that would hopefully work with the bandsaw (to mimic the signal for newer tools while still working with older tools with the toggle switch). I tested the adapter in old and new mode on a brushless bandsaw, 1/4" impact, compact recip saw, and orbital sander. None of the tools would work in "new" mode. All the tools would work in "old" mode except the bandsaw. I will post an update video once the adapter works with all my tools.
@@FilthyGopher ok cool, thanks for the response. Im hoping to eventually find one that works on the bandsaw. Let me know if you find one! And i will also.
I see that on this sellers ebay page it says this adapter is not intended for use on "angle grinder or bandsaw." By any chance have you tried it on any other Hercules tool to see if the issue really is limited only to the bandsaw and grinder tools?
@@MichaelPuccio-b4nI have the Bauer vacuum with the red molded plastic battery adapter off eBay. To a dewalt 20v 5ah battery. It works great. The only thing I don’t like it’s the battery is way on the end so it make that side heavier and it’s not balanced very well. But it works great for cleaning up messes
Purchased the same adapter to use on Hercules 20v polisher, having the same issues. Hoping in can find a workaround as I already have 25+ dewalt batteries and the Hercules brand is so close as far as battery connection and at a fraction of the price.
I bought same adapter for the impact wrench ½" I've gotten it to work for like a minute after fully charging, but never again sadly. Have you or anyone found a solution?
It appears the adapter is using a PIC to simulate the signal that the battery is meant to send to the tool. Can you please take some high res pics of the board, as I'm trying to see if its both pins that need a specific signal, or if one is just an NTC. Thanks!
not sure, the seller was communicating with me pretty regularly and even sent me a prototype to try on some tools. I think they are still working on making an adapter that works with all Hercules tools, as they probably have a high return rate when people find out the current one only works with some of the tools.
@ ya would have been nice to get an adapter while it was available. If it doesn’t work on some fine. But yeah I hope they can make one that works on all Hercules I don’t want to have so many different batteries

Thanks for this video! Any updates on getting the brushless band saw to work yet?
I'm looking to adapt Milwaukee batteries. But did you ever get it to work properly?
No, haven't heard any updates from the ebay seller in awhile now. Last I heard he was still trying to revise the adapter.

Good video…I almost bought one of those adapters.
I bought one on ebay that works with the new high torque impact, so far at least.
You have the link?

I have the same flashing light problem with my Hercules battery on my Hercules tool. Assumed it is the temp senser.
