I liked the one he used that looked like a modern Billy-Bo…..Forgot one name the Godmother of rock Sister Rosetta Tharp that invented Rock and Roll…..Bo-Diddley beat. The main sound of “Willie and the hand jive or just hand jive. Great video on a great guitar and performer thanks.

It was called the Jupiter Thunderbird. The third design he used prominently, other than the Cigar Box and the Jupiter, was a thinner and spikier-looking design called the Cadillac. Sadly, it's the only one that has never been reissued by Gretsch. Puresalem Guitars made a run of them, which are the only ones I know of other than custom one-off replicas over the years.

For those who don't already know, the significant part of the Bo Diddley sound is a control knob on old amplifiers labeled "Speed" which I think later came to be called "Vibrato" instead
