- Here is a video on how to do the Mercedes Citric Acid Flush. This is something that should be done every year. This car has not had it done in many years, and the car is getting hot. This video explains the procedure as it would be done at Mercedes. Hopefully everyone will find this video helpful.
How is your car running at this time? How many miles you have on it? Love these W123 300D's! haha lol
Very good video. Great information and steps taken!
Had that performed twice with my 1993 W201 190E. 👍🏻🏴🇺🇸
Add this info to your knowledge if you use only citric acids on car cooling system the rust eventually will return back after 3 or 4 months because its still on the iron and aluminum parts of the car and can start reacting again you need to neutralize the coolant by decreasing the ph of it with using sodium bicarbonate and after that flush the system really good with distilled water that way the new original high quality coolant you’re using gonna stay alot longer than it should be……..
El mejor auto de todos los tiempos!tenía uno cuando tenía 20 años,allá por el 99😊👍
Did you fix the overheating issue?
After I did the acid flush I have not had an issue. The car sits on thermostat.
Thank you
At 5:15, When you run it for 10 minutes with the half of bottle of shout and 2 gallons of water... Are you turning the heater on also? Anyone else want to chime in also... In other words is it good to run this with the heater on at this stage. Also if one is able to get the block drain plug out, a person can still use this half of bottle of shout and 2 gallons of water?
I did have the heater on
@@rotariesjetskis6967 Cool, Thanks!
Good stuff, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice 123. ❤❤

I am the definition of safety.
@@rotariesjetskis6967 This is how mechanics work in my country, i.e. without taking any safety measures
Citric acid is a mild acid, right? Probably not a big issue, unless it's used in an enclosed small garage and left on skin for a while
@@kalui96 it is a weak acid like vinegar. However, it works better than vinegar to remove rust. It does not cause any harm to skin or any other thing unless it is used for prolonged time period
@@awaisiqbal8934 Thanks for the info!
Can't hear you!
