Hello Everyone! In today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how you can fix your new stamper!! I have used this method before and it worked perfectly for me. So when i received a new stamper that did not work i decided to make a video and show you guys how you could prime and use your new stamper :)

If your new stamper is not working, first try using a tape or a lint roller and check. If this does not work then you will have to prime/prep your stamper head.
How to prime a clear stamper head:
1. Take a bowl of Luke warm water a
2. Add some dish washing liquid (you could also use dish washing soap)
3. Place the clear stamper in the mixture , let it sit for 5-10secs and then gently rub with your fingers and clean.
4. Wipe of the water with paper towel or tissue
5. Stamp and check
6. If it still does not work
7. Take a small piece of tissue , dip it in acetone and gently rum the stamper surface
8. Clean the stamper head with scotch tape/lint roller and then stamp.

Disclaimer:
1. Never use acetone thinner/nail polish remover as it damages the stamper head
2. Never BUFF the stamper head as it tears up or loses its transparency and becomes blurry and cloudy, then it’s no more a clear stamper

Hi can I use nail polish remover to clean stamping plates before or after use .
@@prabhjotsinghbassi4442 yes of course... That is the right way to clean stamping plates.
Preferable use a Remover that has acetone... The cleaning becomes easier.

Thank you for this tip! Here's another tip for anyone still struggling. When I started stamping, I couldn't pick up an image to save my life! Blue film was off, I was sure I was woking very fast, I tried different scraping directions, rolling vs straight up and down techniques with the stamper, and tried all different amounts of pressure. Nothing worked! As a last resort, I tried priming my plates! I figured the blue film could be leaving a residue. I used dish soap and a nylon bristled scrub brush and went over the plates for a few seconds each, then rinsed and dried them very well. Shockingly, I could pick up an image the first time and every time after that! Now it's the first thing I do with all my plates. I've never had any damage or scratching from the nylon brush. You only have to do it once if you're struggling to pick up an image. Just clean the polish off with acetone after that. Hope this helps someone else!

I did write this post, but I did share it on a few other videos talking about troubleshooting stampers that I found helpful. I hated to think other people were struggling like I was. I don't prime every plate I buy now like I did back in the beginning, but if I ever have a design that doesn't want to pick up with any of my stampers, I go scrub my plate with the dish soap. Always seems to help!

Oh my god you saved me!! I’ve spent the last three hours trying every trick online, but I never once stopped to wash my plates with soap and water.. whoops! Such an easy fix!
Once again, you have saved me! Remember...I got nail stickers from Amazon and I didn't know how to apply them. Now, you showed me how to make my stamper work. I live in a tent and didn't have hot water to use, but I used cold and some dishwashing liquid and "voila".... It is sticky and clean and working once again! Thank you so much!! 💅👍🏼😀

Is we need to prime everytime before we do the art . Once we have completed than again if we do , we need to prime our stamper

No, you do not need to prime it unless are until the stamper is not working, most stampers work perfectly fine :)

Hey.. You need to preferably buy stamping polishes.. A very few regular polishes especially the ones with a thick consistency may work.. But it's always better to get stamping polishes

My Problem is that my newly bought stamperhead is NOT taking on ANY polish from the stamperplates! So what do I do then?
Are you using stamping polishes??? And you need to be super quick and apply the right pressure to pick up the pattern..

Hey where did you get your stamper from? Also.. You need to be very quick when you pick the pattern.. If the polish on the plate dries up then it won't get picked💖

What we can use in place of acetone
Hey! Do all the steps prior to the acetone first.. If it still doesn't work then dab a little bit of acetone (nail polish remover) and try!

Ohh no! Are you fast enough while your stamping? Don't let the nail polish dry up.. Sometimes it could be the stamping polish which is the problem.. So use it with another stamper and check

Be very careful with putting acetone on your clear jelly stamper because it can make them foggy and you can't see through your stamper correctly
How to clean stamping plates
You can use a nail polish remover and cotton to wipe off the nail polish :)
We can use normal nail polish r we should use stamping polish
You need to use a stamping polish. Normal polishes are usually thinner and some may work but it's hard to find one.
