We have done a few. I have a 64 convertible with an 800+hp race motor. Everything about the drive train and suspension is custom. Hydraulic brakes, big disks, rack and pinion steering, currie 410 rear end, 4 speed race transmission, polished 3" exhaust with cut outs and custom headers etc etc... It's a sleeper. Looks all original at first glance. Very difficult and expensive to do (literally over $140k) but it is definitely one of a kind.

Love your videos! Great camera work, especially dig the the cloud reflections shown moving across the paint while driving.

svisek. Thanks. I thought that was really cool too. I'm a total amateur but my videos do seem to be progressing with each restoration. I'm considering a Mavic drone for the next one. So far it has just been camera phone and gopro.

Reelx1 is correct though. These cars were perfect and don't need any "upgrades." The couple we put rack and pinions in steered worse. Same with the four link, and don't get me started on the air rides. They were very well designed and ride like a dream when all original. I'll try to figure out how to upload a few pics of some of the custom builds we've done.

How much do you charge for the remote operation of the convertible roof? Is this sold as a kit or does it require the car coming to you in Miami?

remember these were the most expensive cars you could buy in the states
some also say the best, but that is all about what you want from your classic ride
    only about 3500 convertibles made in 1966 , in 67 only 2250!
american public was afraid of this classic design...better for us collectors now
these cars restored fetch great prices

Does Driving Dreams ever get into resto mod upgrades of these excellent cars? Independent suspensions, 4 wheel disk brakes etc? Thanks

Hallo Nathan. Du hast sehr schöne Lincoln Fahrzeuge. Wie viele besitzt du eigentlich? Deine Autos sind in einem tollen Zustand! Viel Spaß damit.
Achja, deine Frau ist auch sehr schön anzuschauen... 😉

Did you modify the rear doors to open farther? my 67's doors dont go as far as the fronts. I would love to have em all open equally as far.

puntymario they were not modified. They weren't designed to open as much as the front, so yours is as it should be. You'll notice I took the picture from about the middle of the front door to get the angle right.

Not sure how to add pics here, but I do have some random pics of the 64 in a folder here goo.gl/photos/9Q1rvZTuKodTwNm26
I'll try to get some good pics of the motor and underside as people are always asking about it, but I just haven't taken many pics because I don't intend to sell it.

that would be the dummie thing to do.
these cars have statuts and make a big impression originally
doing all those silly things to an original like that would destroy that
