Richard Rawlings overpays for an under-serviced 1966 Lincoln Continental, which one of the Gas Monkeys is happy to take off his hands for face value and a case of beer.
From Season 3 Episode 4.

4.45 aaron tries to shake richards hand 🤣
I think the 1966 tape player option was built into the radio rather than under the dash.
Original seller is gotta be the only guy I’ve seen that out swindled richard lol
No matter what they tell you, the Lincoln is only worth about 6 to 8000 in nice shape. All these speculators are just driving prices up.
Actually, Engel was well out of the picture before this year of Lincoln was conceived. He worked on the '61 which started the series, but then after a bit of political flim-flamming by the Ford hierarchy he moved to Chrysler to take over design there as Virgil Exner's replacement. The design team led by Arnott "Buzz" Grisinger was responsible for the final design of '66.
Now then, if you happen to need somebody who knows these cars from bumper to bumper, to help revive it from its suspended animation (and even advise a few subtle upgrades to really make it a regular street roller), holla back. We live in the same state.
So you lied to sell your car lol

L8 not worth much. bad year
Aaron ruined a lot of builds and cost them to lose money numerous times on the show
Yes he did....Aaron and Richard were not on the same page. Aaron's moping around was hard to watch. But I did like the rambler wagon.
