Really pretty area. Thanks for showing us around the tarp setup. I've been thinking about getting a tarp and bivy setup again. I didn't enjoy it before, but that was about 10 years ago. Nice video. I appreciate it.

Thanks a lot! I'm starting to get used to it now. Spending nights in the hammock helped with the closed space. The polycro sheet is helping with the fear of bugs 😅 I really like the modular aspect of it. Piecing together different parts depending on the conditions. Like I can use the outer rain fly from the Lanshan 1 with the bivy if I need 360 degree coverage. Or thinking of using an even smaller groundsheet/tarp with a reflective side for hot Summer trips.

I saw that same mountain biker dude on our trip to Pacheco. He said he rides there all the time and lives in Gilroy. Pretty sick spot to ride on the regular.

I probably ran into him before without realizing it. Not too many out there. Just saw those 2 and then 2 backpackers heading back in.

Love your set up on this trip.
Really cool waterfall and area. Looked like a swimming hole too.

Thanks for watching! I'm really happy with the setup. I don't feel the urge to look into new gear 😄Can swap in a hammock setup too. I really need to get out there. Been busy lately though.
It would be a nice swimming hole if there weren't as much poison oak around. There's a few nice swimming holes at the park though. I should take a look before it all dries up.

I’m hoping the recent storms this past weekend extended wildflower season in Coe. Can’t wait to make another trip there this spring. That pack looks sweet!

Thanks! It's working out well. There was a lot of life in general. Saw a momma boar staring at me from a distance. Ran when she noticed I looked back. Then 5-6 little ones started running away. Saw 2 deer.

@@rodoutdoors Will do! Been thinking about that actually but I'm nursing a very mild knee strain. Should be back in action soon. But I am going to Arizona on the 3rd - 12th to be my brother's "crew" for the Cocodona 250 ultra, same race as the video I made for him recently. Once I get back we can figure something out. I'd like to do Mt Sizer but I need to get in a little better shape for that one.
Gonna bring all my cameras for that race and make an even better vid for him. I'll be living in a camper for 5 days too haha
