🥳Yaaaay, I fixed my air fryer! Thank you again for making this video. You rarely find UA-cam videos that are straight to the point, with no rambling b#llsh!t! I accidentally broke the safety button in the process so I taped the button down. I'll make sure to use with the drawer attached and I will unplug it every time, so everything should be fine.
I have the Gourmia brand air fryer (7qt airfryer from Costco) just incase anyone is interested.
Just be careful with the switch button, it's fragile.

My 1 1/2 year old 5qt XL air fryer recently decided to stop working. Actually, it wouldn’t shut off. The only way I could turn it off was to pull the plug. I ran the problem past UA-cam and came across this site. Bottom line, I purchased the switch, installed it, and the XL is back on line. Thanks for sharing this tip. Saved me at least $90.

This is the best video ever! I was able to “rig” mine by building up the slider to make constant pressure on the switch until the ordered part arrived (2days). Was skeptical that I had the same issue since I could “rig” it, but I figured the part was so cheap and the air fryer in video was exactly like ours ( what the heck, why not). Link gave me the part and yes, had to crimp clamps just like in the video, but the switch drops right in to same spot and screw holes line up perfectly. Thank you so much! Wife had already started getting ready to buy a new unit and as much as I could see getting a larger one, it is nice to just spend $5 and use the same old fryer. Appreciate the post and nice job! Helped a lot!
