It's a wonderful performance. Kishibe-san's "Flower" evokes the image of the flowers of alpine plants swaying in the wind. That's so cute. Your "Flower" reminds me of tall, thick-stemmed flowers that bloom closer to the plains. Very powerful. It's interesting that even though it's the same melody, it evokes so many different things.
when I saw him live in Minneapolis, this song literally almost brought me to tears. Cheers to Andy doing an awesome rendition of Masaaki Kishibe's song. What a talented musician. Keep interpretting music the way you do, it is a breath of fresh air in our world constipated with crap like Kesha!
dude, fantastic job. this song really helps me to relax and just think. you're an amazing guitar player. ive been playin about a year and a half, and ppl say im a natural and im good, but i wish i could play like this one day! keep doin what ur doin because you're amazing at it!
i was in bad mood then i listened to this song and then i thought of this.. as something blooms, one admires it, for a while they become one, the stronger their bond feels, deep sadness is built behind the scenes,, the strength of this unknown thing called the future is unevitable, the two who became one were certain it will fall,, sorry i was sad :'/
THANKS ANDY!! this song remembers me of the girl i love,it just brings me so much peace, can´t actually describe it but it remembers me of that beautiful girl, and i feel like in heaven with this, andy,i ask for your permission to dedicate this beautiful piece of art to her,its just so beautiful :)
My partner and I will be using your cover of this song as the processional in our wedding. Thanks for recording such a beautiful version of it. Now it will be even more meaningful to me.
absolutely beautiful kudos andy im still only a budding guitar player. been playin for a year in a half, but im tryin to get this good. this song is brilliantly soul touching
So, I was thinking "this sound like a lullaby" and I start to write some lyrics for this song... Starts to "sing" at 0:25 (hope you like it :s) *[* Little girl, Little girl Can't you sleep? I will hold your hand And so you can dream tonight Little girl, Little girl Just believe Tomorrow it can be A better day if you try Like a star You will start to shine And so you can fly You'll see your fears and tears go back No matter what I will be Ready and there for you Close your eyes and start to smile *]* ... Little girl, Little girl Show your heart And sew it to the mine Don't worry it's all fine Look the moon It's trying to say how wonderful You are And stars They are waiting for a sign They have A plan if I fail in this In make You happy one more time (repeat from the beginning) ... Little girl, Little girl Take my hand I'll kiss you on your cheek And so you can Sleep P.S.: It get's confusing, and I don't know if really make a video playin' the song along with lyrics on screen
I still don't care too much where credit goes for this piece because this is one of the pieces that brings me back to reality that music is so much more than speed. Hearing this makes all the frenetic frantically apreggiating shred your face off a bit irrevelent at times.
I came here for good, soothing music from andy and his guitar. I instead got a loud Snow Patrol Album ad. Thanks Vevo. You're so cool. And I'm so good at sarcasm.
come on andy step it up like u did before with drifting and Ebon coast, still love your songs to death and you, u relly inspire me to write music as well as play diffrent styles
There's no questioning on Andy's techniques. His take on the song is more edgy, whereas the original by Kishibe feels more like a gentle summer breeze. I enjoyed the original more because it carries the emotions.
@WarriorOfTheHeavens Masaaki Kishibe is who wrote this song. Original name is "Hana" in Album "Growing Up", U can find it in google. Andy McKee just re-play this song. *Sry for my bad english
No discredit to Andy but Masaaki's playing seems a lot smoother, but Andy puts his own style on it. Both are amazing players, but Masaaki Kishibe's playing is incredibly fluid in comparison.
AlcaAMV yeah they are both unique in their own way. Masaaki Kishibe has that guitar that when played sounds like cherry blossoms and with Andy's interpretation it has that 'country-feeling' tune. Also cool Akame display pic.
i really love this song, it is very beautiful, emotional, and relaxing. though it's probably just me but doesn't this song kinda remind you of a really good video game song? just curious that's all
@powerrangersr its called arpeggios my friend :) An arpeggio is a musical technique where notes in a chord are played or sung in sequence, one after the other, rather than ringing out simultaneously. ( Wiki :D)
It's a wonderful performance.

This is...pure bliss. Thank you, Mr. Mckee.
Masaaki's song + Andy's style is just awesome combination
It took me four months to learn this song. And like Andy, I had my own twist here-and-there. Great performance, Andy!
not very many songs make me want to cry but this one is on the list. so beautiful!

I'm going to make lyrics to this one, thanks for inspiring me Andy
My favorite sound in the universe. Don't take those words lightly.
So, I was thinking "this sound like a lullaby" and I start to write some lyrics for this song... Starts to "sing" at 0:25 (hope you like it :s)
*[* Little girl, Little girl
Can't you sleep?

And so you can dream tonight
Little girl, Little girl

And stars

They have
A plan if I fail in this

Little girl, Little girl
Take my hand
I'll kiss you on your cheek
And so you can
Sleep
P.S.: It get's confusing, and I don't know if really make a video playin' the song along with lyrics on screen
♥️♥️

I still don't care too much where credit goes for this piece because this is one of the pieces that brings me back to reality that music is so much more than speed. Hearing this makes all the frenetic frantically apreggiating shred your face off a bit irrevelent at times.
This Song Is As Beautiful As A Flawer.
music by Masaaki Kishibe. performed well by Andy McKee... love to hear them do a Guitar Duo
lyrics is awesome yeah cool one 👍
I came here for good, soothing music from andy and his guitar. I instead got a loud Snow Patrol Album ad. Thanks Vevo. You're so cool.
And I'm so good at sarcasm.
come on andy step it up like u did before with drifting and Ebon coast, still love your songs to death and you, u relly inspire me to write music as well as play diffrent styles
I like his guitar!
Heaven Song
First clicked on "Fine", second: listened and thought: "correct order" :P
If you can't find the tabs, its because its original title is Hana, and its composed by Masaaki Kishibe
Hana - Masaaki Kishibe
신이야 그냥 앤디는
Thats a really cool guitar
wow he play's masaaki kishibe's arrangement!!
There's no questioning on Andy's techniques. His take on the song is more edgy, whereas the original by Kishibe feels more like a gentle summer breeze. I enjoyed the original more because it carries the emotions.
The Best...
The human element = beautiful music
@WarriorOfTheHeavens Masaaki Kishibe is who wrote this song. Original name is "Hana" in Album "Growing Up", U can find it in google. Andy McKee just re-play this song.
*Sry for my bad english
This is composed by Masaaki Kishibe, people.
owhhh good song :')
this is amazing. better than the best hes actually making high quality stff now....patience is key..........Mckee=Inparation!!!!!!
In Singapore, we never get ads before the video.
love the harmony at 1:54
well, i love the whole thing but y'know
No discredit to Andy but Masaaki's playing seems a lot smoother, but Andy puts his own style on it. Both are amazing players, but Masaaki Kishibe's playing is incredibly fluid in comparison.
No surprise there since he's the one who wrote it ;)
AlcaAMV yeah they are both unique in their own way. Masaaki Kishibe has that guitar that when played sounds like cherry blossoms and with Andy's interpretation it has that 'country-feeling' tune. Also cool Akame display pic.
just a matter of personal preference. for me personally i like andy's version more. but that's the beauty of music :)
@zxbass I am impressed by your hardcore FF knowledge sir.
Merci
Beauty sounds like this.
(deep sigh for those tense moments)
although this doesn't showcase your guitar playing skills, this is a nice song. you should do more of this
i really love this song, it is very beautiful, emotional, and relaxing.
though it's probably just me but doesn't this song kinda remind you of a really good video game song?
just curious that's all
@MrDas19 yep, they're called fanned frets. There is a video of Andy explaining them on youtube.
He needs to do some James Taylor.I would love to see another of my favorite artists represented like this.
He just re-play this song. The original song name "Hana" by Masaaki Kishibe
goooooooooooooooooood
I wonder if he know the old and good D chord. Hahhahaha =D
He's great!
This song belongs in a RPG, it's soo goood
I haven't seen him played like this..
It's somehow different, even with For My Father..
Somehow, Andy McKee is still Andy McKee. :)
@powerrangersr its called arpeggios my friend :) An arpeggio is a musical technique where notes in a chord are played or sung in sequence, one after the other, rather than ringing out simultaneously. ( Wiki :D)
Come back to RNCM @Manchester!
@RideYerCamel Its a fanned fret acoustic, helps w/ intonation
Just knowing that this man can make any woman hot and bothered in 10 seconds of playing his guitar, should inspire anyone to be as good as this guy!
surely inspired by final fantasy 1 great song both of them
@SamIbanez351 it's arranged by good friend of Mckee named Masaaki Kishibe, famous japanese guitarist.
