Congratulations!
Can now join the BYD owners group!
Congrats to you Hafriz and family
Congratulations Hafriz🎉🎉
wow, kalau bro hafiz pun beli. maksudnya mmg padhu betoi laa kereta ni. bukan senang woo car reviewer ni nak teracun
Congrats Hafriz Shah on your new car!
Congratulations Hafriz 🎉
Congrats Mr Hafriz Shah !!!!!
Pick up kereta, install tint, pasang dashcam, tukar tayar, charge, jalan. Congrats!
Congrats on your new car, Hafriz!
I can’t help but notice the comically tiny rear wipers. But hey, small quirks make this cute dolphin slightly cuter I guess. 😂 1:33
Small is better than nothing ( Kia, Hyundai, Ora Good Cat)
2:04 "absolute must these days", garangnya muka tuuuu. for which, car manufacturers should take note tho ☝🏻
Gratz hafriz !
satu lagi, bab tayar memang saya sangat setuju pandangan bro hafiz. saya sendiri pernah kemalangan dekat highway timur - barat masa cuaca hujan renyai-renyai, jalan basah akibat guna tayar brand china. memang skid walaupun masa tu kelajuan tak laju mana. tak pasai-pasai habis beribu utk repair kereta hanya kerana nak jimat dekat tayar. itupun syukur tak jatuh gaung, kalau dak lagi laa
Congrats to you, byd dolphin looks is very cun and love the interior also. enjoy2 your new car👍
Haitu dah tengok byd kt showroom.. Tahun dpn InshaAllah sy beli
Byd dolphin is the best value in RM ev car rite now in msia 😊, just the slow charger... others no complaints
Congratulations brother 👍🏻
Congratulations Hafiz☺️
Bro, I have used Atto 3 for 9 months now, i tell you, CHANGE THE TYRE NOW, lagi lagi EV tyres dah keluar kat Malaysia, or you can buy one from TAOBAO (ask your chinese friends/colleagues to translate for you) you can get an awesome deal (up to half price compared to local price). China tyres are made for cheap cars to be honest, Atto 3 bergoyang and skid a lot. NOT SAFE FOR WET DRIVING considering the weight and torque of the car.
Already changed to Michelins. First thing I did after delivery 😂
@@hafrizshah4937 haa cun cun. trade in tayar how much RM did they take for stock Dolphin?
Congrats dude!
It would be great if you could follow up with the mid term or long term review, with the local use context.
congrats Bro 👍
Can u share about byd service package, is it compulsory to take the package and how about the cost customer has to pay for each services
Congrats bro
Betul tu kat UK harga sana 31,000 £ kalau convert to ringgit Malaysia 183K,
1£ - RM5.92.
it s a good car i have test drive it
Ling Long tyres dont give me confidence... Ling Long Ling Long then end up in Longkang.
BYD should change to local tyres that are suitable for our heavy rain climate.
Hi Hafriz, regarding the dashcam, did you install at BYD service centre or just on your own? If you did yourself, would we have to worry about the car warranty? Thanks
Honestly, I didn't ask. DIY installation, took 5 mins after looking at references online
Hi Hafriz, may I know how long you waited for the car after paying booking?
Hye bro ..what waiting time for this brand bro 🤔 congrat to u n wife 🎉🎉
Congrats to your wife ! :) @Hafriz, which EV are you getting for yourself ?
he is owning an ioniq 5
@@azrilazlan9309 maybe it’s time for an upgrade 😄
Hi. Did you change the rear number plate as well?
Yes I did. Same size as the front
Wohhhhhhhh. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
please do a thorough review after few months
Congrats, indeed a logical choice.
Hafiz, could you please advise is on the cost of your electrical bill, everytime you charge at Home - non commercial rate.
For our condo it's RM5/hour for 7kW AC. So it takes about 7 hours (overnight) to charge from 20-100%, so that's RM35 for around 320 km range. That's equivalent to a petrol car that averages 19 km/L or 5.3 L/100 km.
If you can charge directly at home (landed), it'll be significantly cheaper
Hi Hafriz, congrats on the new car! If you don't mind me asking, may I know how the charging situation is going to be? And in your opinion do you think it's feasible to own an EV when one is living in a high-rise without an EV charger?
Fortunately our condo has 4 shared chargers, so we're good. More expensive than charging direct to TNB, but still cheaper than petrol.
If you don't have access to home charging then it gets much harder. I'd say yes it is still feasible having to rely on public chargers, but it will require some changes to your lifestyle/routine to accommodate. Not ideal but doable
@@hafrizshah4937 Thanks for your input Hafriz. And I know it's your wife's car, but I hope you could make a video about how it is daily driving an EV, and how much it differs with having an ICE car as your daily driver.
Hi can you pls check how much boot space of Dolphin when false floor is attached? when it's removed 345L because of the deep of the floor
Probably around 250 litre range. More than big enough for a city car
So after 7 months own this car, any feedbacks / experience reviews from you? Bad or the bestest..?
You earn 3,000 pounds, the car is 31,000 pounds.
You earn rm3,000, the car is rm127,000 !!
Thats how you calculate.
That's not really relevant. My point is, while most cars are way more expensive in Malaysia compared to other places (direct currency conversion), this Dolphin is actually cheaper to buy here.
Do you charge at home? What do you need to change at home to charge the car?
Yes, our condo has shared chargers. Just need to buy your own Type 2 cable.
i wanna get a byd shark
The car doesn't come with a dash cam?
Congrats! I am driving Volvo XC40 and just got a BYD Dolphin for my wife last week. For Auto Hold, it is engaged the moment the car is started for Volvo, means after engaging gear with the brake pedal depressed, and when you release brake pedal, the car does not moving until you press on the accelerator. However, Dolphin doesn't work that way, the moment the brake is release, the car starts moving. Am I missing something or this is the way Dolphin works. Can you comment on this? Thanks.
Yup, that's how it is in the Dolphin. Auto Hold won't engage when you first put it into D.
Are there specific EV tyres for the BYD dolphin? Or any type of ICE car tyres will do?
No they isn't. It's the same as ICE car. The only difference is that EV tyre tend to be a little bigger than ICE car because of how heavy an EV is.
For now, there are no EV-specific tyres in this exact size. But the Michelin Primacy 4 I changed to already have higher load ratings than the standard LingLongs.
@@hafrizshah4937understood, had a test drive on the byd dolphin before and was quite dissatisfied with its road noise and was wondering how to fit new tyres into this.
What's with all these ribbons thingy? Damn old-fashioned.
How much does this car cost in Singapore?
It's SGD150k for the standard range 😅
👍
May I know how much a new set of battery cost???
Wait 5 to 10 years to get the snswer. Unless you're asking about the 12V battery.
Congrats on your BYD Dolphin
But UK BYD EVs comes with 3 phase onboard charging, Malaysia is similar to Thailand only with single phase onboard charging.
Yes, that's a pity. But since the battery isn't that big, it doesn't make that big of a difference whether it's 7 or 11 kW, especially if you're charging it overnight.
Congrats Hafiz 🎉🎉😂
Hi guys. May i know is he a full time car reviewer with paul tan?
You don't need extended range to go to mamak and markets nearby Hafriz 😂 lol just kidding enjoy your new ride bro!
Seriously, it's exactly my thought. Maybe other features (more powerful motor, wireless charger, powered seats, one touch windows or maybe multi-link suspension) made him go for extended range
Lucky you mention for your wife , else MR Benz will fall into deep depression losing you
Hahaha I'm now Team Range Rover
@@hafrizshah4937 lolx finally. Congrats. So which make you feel loved and pampered? RR or Benzy?
Do share us the thing on their ADAS. Reviews from China and Europe were saying that its lane keeping ain't working good, just like the Myvi (ADAS 3.0 and equivalent models), they'll hit the left and right line constantly like a ping pong game instead of keeping the car in the middle of the lane.
A good ADAS system are expensive. I don't think car at this price point will have a good ADAS system. Even if it's not good, at least they gave you one.
It's definitely better than the Perodua ASA, but unfortunately, not by much. It can only handle very slight bends before going off course. But the throttle/brake inputs are fairly smooth
@@hafrizshah4937 How would you comment on the other ADAS features?
How does it compare to X50. I find X50 working quite well
Hafriz….how is it so far? Best tak?😁
Tahniah🎉🎉🎉
i just cant brain the front headlights, they could've designed it better whether cute or aggressive look but this one....i don't know it's actually dolphin on the road??
He is born in February 1959?!?
Congrats. Believe it or not, your purchase disclosure just swung my decision to buy BYD Dolphin. Actually I booked a BYD Seal.
Please tell me what tyres (spec will you swap). Also what brand onboard dash cam?
Col. Josh
😅😅😅
Enjoy it!
I changed to a set of Michelin Primacy 4 at RM458/piece. Massive improvement over the LingLongs for comfort, noise and grip. Highly recommended.
The dashcam is an original BYD unit from China via Shopee. 5 min installation
Could you show, what is it look like ... the dashcam ? Put it in the middle of windshield ?
the front camera location is the worst possible location..
Hi Hafriz, would you be considering getting the S70 too?
You've had history of buying the X70 for your dad and the X50. 😂
Hahah no, not this time
Looks like a decent car but can I ask, why BYD, Hafriz?
Explained in the video already.
@@PsychedMediayou're the least helpful but thanks for the info I guess.
I wouldn't say I chose for the brand specifically. Just that it happens to be the ideal choice for price/looks/size/features/comfort for us at this particular moment
Anyone watched serpentza videos......
PATUT LA I CAN'T BID THE PLATE NUMBER PREVIOUSLY (MY NIKAH DATE) 😂😂... NOW I HAVE TO REVERSE THE NUMBER
Hahah this number dah beli almost 2 years ago la
Got extra cash?
UC = UMPSA
BYD. 海豚 🐬👍👍👍

Should have bought a Japan made…
Japan are falling behind and getting Obsolete
Yeah. Typical "Baik beli xxx" comment.
should have bought your amma pundek even better
Lol go live in your cave
Which Japanese brand's EV available here?
Price of cars in Malaysia is expensive.
Singapore: "hold my COE"
Don't need to compare car prices in far away places. Compare car prices to Singapore and you'll cry for saying car prices in Malaysia is expensive
