The atto 3's interior looks absolutely horrible, so i didn't have have much expectations for the dolphin, but after seeing the gloss black on black interior and toned down design, the interior is class above for the price range. In my opinion, anyone living in a landed property should consider at least one if not more EVs. Since I stay in an apartment, I picked Toyota Corolla Cross to this Dolphin although there are charging infrastructures in Klang Valley since it is inconvenient to charge elsewhere. It is most convenient to charge at your own homes. In the near future when I get to own a landed property, it will surely be an electric car as petrol engine cars are slowly phasing out with the government removing subsidies to petrol and further promoting the use of EVs.

In the budget segment they sometimes perform better in braking than budget tyres from big brands. Not sure about handling, NVH, longevity, but it's not an entirely terrible brand. That said, the name is so silly I'd immediately switch them out for better eco tyres like Ecopia or Energy XM2

Masalahnya proton and perodua so far never really show interest to make affordable ev (besides the dead iriz n saga ev project). So I really don't think proton n perodua will be offering affordable ev within these two years coz they really wanna simply keep selling petrol car to help oil company. More petrol cars, more oil consumption, more profit. Like it or not, we will have to live with ev cars at the cheapest RM 100k for now.

BYD car actually have rare fire case. The only reason it looks like it caught fire a lot is because they sold a huge amount of EV in China. When the sample size is large enough, rare things become common. If you divide the amount of car they sold with the amount of car that actually caught fire, it is surprisingly low. And most of the modal that got caught on fire is the plug in hybrid version, which they dosen't export outside of China.

This car is better for city drive. U want fast speed and long range? Get Tesla Model Y Performance which almost 3x the price. EV cars make the most sense when they have the right amount of range. Longer range but not fully utilize by user doesn't make sense, it just making the car more expensive. Same as 12s, you don't need fast acceleration and speed in the city. Also the safety features. Don't just look at price, top speed and range.
Someone who has just taken delivery got their customs note that the car imported was already around rm86k from china. Adding in freight and insurance. Already 95k.. simedarby only getting around 5-6k of profit for each unit sold.. u can refer to thailand dolphin price its almost similar to ours
