One other movement tip is that they made superior stamina work with goo ball so that you can triple jump. Not sure if it is worth doing but you can get some insane distance with majestic leap into two jumps
Wow thank you for sharing your research. I now know why I miss my ball stun on flying heros. Also was unaware of dashin downward on max level ball. Thats why youre the GooBall GOD
yo! the "Putting it all together section" if the script was little more terse would be a great short format. i'd watch a million 3 min break downs of ball plays! Keep up the good work!
the only thing i hate more than losing control over the goo ball because im hitting some walls, is when people double jump over my ball, thats so annoying and way to many people have done it recently. especially frustrating if its sooo close, you also want have time to jump yourself if they do it last sec
this is my issue as well when im playing with gooball. I think people realize you can easily just jump over the ball and it'll be painstakingly slow just to bounce back to try again when they'll prob regenerate their stamina to double jump over the ball once more. There might be a small margin where if u jump you can hit them when they double jump and when they're not jumping.
As in the video, you can try jumping when you're getting to them, if they double jump they'll be even more out of stamina and stunned. I like the "triple threat" analogy (don't watch basketball but it makes a lot of sense), in some cases you can even switch how you control the ball to get people who repeat the same strategies to run away.
@@nowanilfideme2 yea i just watched the whole thing and this is a good tip. on the first watch i just skipped the first few sections because i thought there would be no new information (i already saw a few twentytwo vids on the goo man)

@@derekpayne9822 I agree, I should have taken the time to set one up for this. In any case, I will definitely keep that in mind for next time! Thank you.
Ball can be hard to control, but it’s seriously satisfying to move where you want to go and crush anything in your path. Also, wouldn’t it be good to add some cheap weapon items like high velocity rounds or basic mag to make it so you aren’t that exposed without ball form in the early and mid game?
It definitely can be! I like to pick up Monster rounds right after my first Goo Ball use, but I am basically spending all money leading up to 3k souls on Spirit items that assist my Splatter and prep for a big first Ult use in lane. Melee Lifesteal combined with Puddle Punch helps you stay alive, or in a particularly pokey lane you may grab Healing Rite as well. Going into the mid game I usually look to grab Soul Shredder bullets and Mystic Shot and then do the Skinner Combo outside of Goo Ball (Puddle Punch, Right Click, Splatter, Melee).
@@wp_twentytwo I recently saw the video about the Skinner combo, I thought your build didn’t use it much but I do notice that the items in the build allow it to work decently.
@@Sjon_E I hope so! I will check it out tonight, it’s possible it got handled in on of the patches this past week. I am curious if you are able to double jump without initiating a jump before using an active now as well, I’ll check tonight.
Didn't even know you could double jump as ball, always seemed that only one jump is possible, didn't even try something else. The second jump absence from rolling from ledges reminds me of how in Elden Ring people didn't think the same thing was possible with torrent because they were using big swords all game and with them you can't jump after walking from ledges on the horse
I dont like magic carpet or majestic leap to be honest. Majestic leap is only a engager and cant be used while in combat. Magic Carpet being a purple item helps with spirit dmg but I feel like another item in its place can be better. Alchemic fire though, is really fun and causes chaos in fights. Just my 2 cents
I have honestly been playing with Alch Fire and I love the concept. This video is all about movement, so I went for talking about the 4 movement actives, but I am still trying to figure out the best way to optimize Alch Fire into the build. Thinking about using it with Escalating Exposure in the late game or even something like Healbane, but I am not sure how useful that would be.
I started building majestic leap + alch fire and now I too get to live out my dreams of being a B-52 bomber. Alchemical fire pairs well with escalating but I prefer mystic slow + improved reach to control and deny space Keep up the good work these vids are great ❤
@@MilkJugA_ stun duration nerfs are definitely game changing. I have been playing the build in ranked and it is much harder than before, may need to make a couple more changes and drop an updated video.
@@Garlicgod I suggest hopping in the Sandbox and leveling Goo Ball to max. Buy all the Active items you intend to use in game and start rolling around. Make sure you are comfortable with the timing and positioning of the vertical punch from ball form for escape, practice rolling through the moving bot then jump/180/warp stone to his feet. Practice rebounding off of walls and making sharp turns with acceleration off. Honestly if you mess around semi-productively for 15-30 minutes in the Sandbox that will help a ton to begin, then I would suggest taking a break to let the muscle memory sink in a bit before hitting pubs, but public matches are the next step. Don’t get frustrated at yourself when you miss a rebound, and don’t immediately feed when you do make a mistake because you are trying to compensate for it. Go fail for a while, and with time, you’ll notice that you are failing less and less. Ball out king.
@@crush3304 Magic Carpet should only cancel if you use an ability. Activating Goo Ball does count as well, so you need to click Goo Ball before clicking Magic Carpet. @@wp_twentytwo Ya, I really dont know. Def not caused by activating abilities or ball. Just seems to happen randomly usually right after casting carpet.
