Shes pretty trash but insanely fun. Deadlock GG going down thoiugh means we cant see how bad she currently is. But her winrate was sub 42% last time the stats were proper.

12:39, paradox actually does have built-in lifesteal, when you are swapping with someone with ult, you gain 100% lifesteal for the duration of the swap, so if needed, you can use your grenade on minions, then swap with the enemy, and gain a large portion of health back

Recently started playing Paradox. So much fun, love this hero. The carbine is so satisfying, it's like a railgun. Love the sound too. Also the movement (animations) is cool af. Also feel that Devine Kevlar is so good for her, makes it safer to swap into a team. Then you could possible add Phantom Strike also to TP back to your original location, would almost guarantee the kill too.
Idk if this is the same guy but one of the top paradox players plays a really cool roaming build where they get veil walker+fleet foot+ kinetic dash and they just fly around setting up picks for their team.

I liked the analysis. Been watching his streams and gameplay i've realized yes he plays for the win generally when he sees an easy swap he goes for it. Usually though, because of the aggressive nature of his gameplay he looks to get picks even if he is by himself. He generally never falls behind on eco, and paradox for what people expect him to do, actually does an insane amount of single target damage where after a few purchases, swap+wall+kinetic charger alone basically does 1k-2k damage based on what resistances the enemy bought. Not a lot of chars have that much hp even in the late game. Generally mikaels plays paradox more as a assassin then as a team initiator in most cases.
10:22 all the bullet resist on swap even makes an advantage in you landing in the enemy team. They might aggro and waste bullets on Paradix while their friend who got swapped away perishes
Small correction the order is not shield - carbine - swap or even carbine - shield - swap, it is carbine - swap - shield. If you spam 2 fast after launching your ult you can still put down the shield before the ult connects with the enemy and the swap starts. If you dont do this you will lose time between the timestop of your carbine and you might miss your ult if you put down the shield in between that. Great analysis overall!
I forgot the name of the item, but theres one that gives you a bunch of bullet and spirit resist when you use your ult, I like using that with paradox you never die

If anyone has ever wanted to play a character who is just an underdog but doesn’t win, become a Paradox main like me lol Paradox needs some kit changes in my opinion. For a backliner, and a major part of her kit being her swap, you really put your neck out there for a play which most public teams are gonna miss out on. Gun Paradox/Carbine is great but a glass cannon with no survivability. I hope maybe they can changer her swap have a second of invulnerability, because it’s so risky, you’d be better off just sniping and clearing waves

as a new player. Paradox seems like a sleeper pick on low elos. it's always vindicta, shiv, seven or haze. I'm trying to learn Paradox. Paradox seems like a nice hero to stomp noobs because no one plays paradox so no one knows how to counter if played correctly lol.
Ive been playing for 2 weeks now, got maybe 50 games or so and Ive been spamming paradox a lot. You can stomp hard with it, but it does require some form of team behind you IF the enemy has some level of team play. If every1s a massive noob then you can go nuts. As far as I see it paradox is very powerful even with limited items, but you need to be hitting your skill shots, otherwise youre not contributing at all.
I like maxing grenade first sometimes because it can really help you hyperfarm, or throwing a grenade at the floor then swapping through wall does alot of dmg. Definitely worse than this build but alot of fun

What's the deal with using Heavy Melee on the Mid Boss? I've seen lots of High MMR players do it but I don't understand why
I believe melee does more damage, and when you weave in melee between your shots it's more DPS overall because you don't have to reload as fast

Itemisation is the key to winning these games. And he spends plenty of time talking about what he does
