Here's a video of all the bosses in Sonic Spinball. This footage was taken from a Nintendo Switch at 1080p & 60fps. I also added the ending, because apparently that's what all the cool kids are doing these days.

That’s funny, I’ve been grinding this game a lot lately
These bosses are super creepy
Every time I see this game I have to mention how this takes place in a weird universe where the “everything is canon” rule is in full effect.

Sonic Spinball is canon, Sonic Origins has Veg-o-Fortress on it.
3D Blast is also canon apparently, I don’t know where they fall on the timeline though

This game really was throwing both US. and Japan sonic stuff together. I think this was also the only game until lost world that showed how the little animals were turned into badniks.
Although here it looks more like the roboticizer instead of simply placing the animal in a robot like a battery.
maybe the battery part is why they're getting shocked, cause theyre being used as a battery

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Eh , he actually survives and then he returns in Sonic Pocket Adventure 9 years later .

I wonder what the hell was the graphic design dudes when making this game, pretty much almost everything is nightmare fuel
There are worse offenders like the Void Queen but yeah, in the 16-bit era, these were pretty unsettling

Yeah I was confused what to do when I played it the first time
I just noticed in the minigame sections that Sonic has the US design where he has a "mohawk" set of quills as opposed to the rest of the game having his traditional spikes.
That's because the game was developed entirely in the US

The game sometimes can be disturbing and oddity unsettling and the game also kind of feels like a dream accidentally exist like a fun nightmare

The whole art style is way more strange and dark than sonic usually is, it’s weird.
The scream and boss fight makes it a little unsettling
