@Sandria Tyson You are extremely fortunate my wife could barely handle my household with 2 dogs. I have a small golden retriever she's 48 pounds full grown and a French bulldog male. I wanted a 3rd dog for protection.

@leftyla I know a cat that downed an entire aloe plant in one night, no ill effects aside from soft stools for a couple days. Though what is ok for one may be dangerous for another.

The yam and white potato with a slice of turnip and leek is fantastic for diarrhea. Clears up diarrhea very quickly. It's not feeding the dog a whole onion. It's only a slice. This recipe I used to save my cat with chronic diarrhea. Nothing from the non holistic vet worked. After one serving of this the diarrhea was 80% gone. Cats should not have onions either but this was chronic diarrhea and a cat in horrible condition. It works.
Fish oils get toxic after a while; usually before the oil is used up. Can be toxic; find fish oils that mitigate problems or alternatives.

Dilaine Camo I was referring to the brócoli, that you have to be careful giving too much. They are really designed to eat meat, organs, but not very many carbohydrates. And also it’s recommended to fast them for 12 to 24 hours then start refeeding slowly until your sure they are ok. And try to stay away from dry kibble food. when they bouts of diahrea rea or stomach problems. My sentence for scrambled. Hard to text
he did not mention you got to cook the carrots halfway if not the pieces of carrots stay in the stomach and that's going to be a major problem

kibble is what's causing cancer in our animals and it's disgusting that these pet companies market to the dollar amount and not true pet health for our animals!
Its food substitutes like melamine that's put into pet food to raise protein content.

I got Dr. Marty"s cat food for my 16 year old kitty. I gave him four pieces of it and he loved it! And five minutes later he threw it up. Today I mixed two pieces it in with his regular food and he vomited that too! I will be returning it all on Monday and a return of my money. I've been feeding him Hill's Science Diet Cat Food for 15 years which all the people like Dr. Marty says is bad for my kitty. My cat has never had a sick day in his life! When I took him in to the vet last year for his shots the vet said he has never seen a 15 year old cat with perfect teeth! On top of that at one year old he weighed 9 pounds and today at 16 he still weighs 9 pounds!

My dogs love boiled yams, carrots, celery, and equal parts meat. I use chicken, when it's done I mash it and add a tablespoon of coconut oil.
Kevin S. start with 1 table spoon of veggies or fruit mixed in for a week or more. Try one at a time and see what the dog will eat with meat. it takes time.
I feed 80% raw meat + 10% organ meat + 10% raw meaty bones = 100%. I add raw egg yolk. Go ROAR!
Hi Kevin what I do is get beef brisket cook that then when it cools down mix with grated carrot and brocli grated with brown rice whack on a pair of gloves combine together make sure meat is medium rare what I do anyway and cut in cubes 👌
Rice is not good. It turns into sugars in the bloodstream very quickly, which calls out insulin into the blood and can cause increased fat storage, and can lead to diabetes eventually.

Nice Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Parlandealey Pets Yummy Process (just google it)? It is a good one off product for discovering healthy recipes for dog food minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got astronomical results with it.

True, though ours have eaten onion that jumped off the cutting board countless times. I try to be careful but accidents will happen, and in our kitchen the dogs are always around our ankles. Be concerned and go out of your way to avoid it, but unless the dog gets more than a little, in our own experience over the years, it will show no ill effects.
That's not true. My dogs ate onions and chocolate and lived for 14 and 17 years.

Garl8c, onions and related foods cause red blood cells to burst and they clog the kidney tubules causing kidney failure that is not reversable! I would never use leeks for that reason.
Garlic is actually okay! I used to think the same thing, but they need to eat like a whole bulb at once for it to be toxic. It can be good in small amounts.
Great if you can afford human food for your pets. I wish I could cook for my cat!

It depends. Mine can have SOME pork meat, but she can NOT have ANY pork bones. They give her bad diarrhea Hershey squirts! Poor baby. So ya, it really depends on your pooch I'd say, but I'm no vet. Just a very edgeu- macated pet owner who just loves my little ham sammy to death!!!❤❤❤🐕🐶

Yes as long as its natural and free of extra hormones and dies. Regular from the store is ok but then you will be getting the extra hormones unless it is specifically natural or organic

the yellow part of the inside is toxic, you cut that piece of, youŕe fine the rest of the aloe vera is useable.

Cant use salt or other spices garlic and onion are bad for dogs they can cause health problems. Kidney failure etc . bones are cooked or not cause can cut the intestine and blled an can choke.

What would possess you to feed a dog tuna fish? I mean reaaaaaalllly
If you feed vegetables whether cooked or raw I guess especially raw if they arbor ground finely your dog will not digest them. Especially carrots. I just make sure to give my dogs 30% protein and all different colors of vegetables and fruit. Not a lot of fruit unfortunately they don't like it much. I'll put a finely ground egg shell in their dinner unless they are having liver that night. They love love liver and it's inexpensive. Do your research. I tend to watch mostly get instructions and use judgement with the rest. Oh and chicken liver is cheap too but it stinks up your whole house so I stopped buying it and just use need liver. I do sear it in skillet but you can cook it in microwave or feed it raw. I just like my dogs,food to not be cold.

If I had Martha Stewart's money I would be able to afford the food also.in a 12-oz bag there are 6 cups of food So if your pet eats four cups a day you will almost used one 12 oz bag per day so that is about $23 a day to feed your pet. I don't even think it cost us humans that much to eat each day So does he really care about your pet or his pocketbook interesting

At the 1:24 minute mark, Dr. Marty says dogs are "Carnivores." He is a world famous Veterinarian specializing in dog nutrition and he doesn't know dogs are "OMNIVORS?" Big RED flag for me.
What I don't like about Marty is he thinks he has to legitimize himself by listing celebrities he's worked with. I get it. If he mentions names you know and trust, you'll trust him. I never trust a doctor with a tan, but I'm all for feeding dogs "people food". I mean meat, rice, etc. Not our junk.

Dog are carnivores, period. Kills me everytime I see all these "natural" dog food videos that load up dogs on all kinds of fruits/veggies. Just because it won't kill them doesn't mean they should eat it or that it's good for them.
Dogs & cats digestive systems have NOT changed from domestication. You never see a cat leave a carrot for you on your doorstep, NO!...they leave you a mouse or bird! You never see a dog chasing down a potato, NO! They're chasing squirrel, bird ,fish.(small game) Animals know what they eat, it's people who are arrogant and don't want to accept their fur baby is a animal. Then ppl wonder why so many are suffering/dying from human health issues! Here's a novel idea....try feeding them what nature & God has designed them to eat...see how that works.
At this point all dogs are different and owners should feed whatever their dogs can stomach. Not all dogs can handle a raw diet. Dogs arent wild anymore and they havent been for a long time, that's why most wouldnt survive on their own; they dont all have that natural instinct anymore, of course though others could! Dogs have evolved just how people evolve. I mean, there are communities of people who believe all humans should eat solely raw meats because thousands of years ago that's what humans did. I dont know, to each their own.
They are carnivores and they chase down herbivores. In the wild, when they tear apart the guts of a herbivore they ARE eating vegetables as well as meat.They need the herbivore to pre-digest and break down the vegetable matter, and of course they eat the meat of the herbivore as well. It's primarily meat with carnivores, but they get a certain percentage of pre-digested vegetable matter as well. Maybe if we blended/juiced vegetables and poured some over the meat we feed them?

Every French bulldog I've met has aggression issues,it's because of inbreeding! Why anyone would want one of those inbred,unhealthy,mean little dogs is beyond me. They may be friendly with people,mostly,but with other dogs they're usually terrible. All the inbreeding makes them unstable and brain damaged.

No, Karen, I socialize and train my dogs as soon as I get them. People with larger dogs can’t get away with no training because it’s perceived as more dangerous; but oh god the amount of untrained smaller dogs I’ve seen is awful. Honestly, at the dog park it’s the smaller dogs I’m more nervous around. Got bitten by a miniature poodle once on the ankle and I didn’t even look at it.
