Several times Brabham could have forced his way in and bashed him out of the way. It was total bullshit what that kid did. It was obvious Brabham had more motor. If it was me, any and every time I saw that kid I'd bash his ass off the track until he learned how to race.
Some of my favorite racing to watch! These guys are the reason I camped out at Road America in 2019.
These are the reason I went to road America last year, but the gt class was a nice suprise also.

That was crazy! I haven't watched a truck race like this before but man this is badass.
He was such a clean driver I KNEW he was gonna pass him on the straight on the third lap because he was so close on the second.
Hard to blame either one for the final tangle, I think. Brab had the defensive position inside, but I think he postured outside just a tiny bit before the turn because he was afraid blacky would overtake him on the outside with the better line. Blacky would also have the inside on the second cone in the coming road which would allow him to pull ahead for the win. That was so cool.
That jump was so high lollll caught me way off guard
I would do anything too have a go in one of these. I'll probably end up blowing myself up, but I'll die happy👍

Nice clean driving man. Loved watching you get the slim stream. That black truck was pushing so hard and when he couldn't beat your straight up, resorted to sqeezing you off the track. There were a couple of times you could have done the same but have him room. Thats just plain Dirty! Anyway, thanks for the video.

I love how you can push other cars, it adds an element. You cant just run your line and block, they can push you too fast into the corner and now you are screwed.

Okay, the way I see it is that the 'Headstrong' Driver pressured but
didn't/never crossed the line as far as racing etiquette goes. 'Headstrong' was a much more technical driver...easy in the corner earlier exit speed. An excellent driver. ************************

I watched the footage from the 'VP' Driver Gavin and I'm gonna retract some of what I wrote. It was just good racing at the end but Matt Great footage and would have loved to see post race interviews. Thank you for the upload.

I love watching great drivers chasing from their POV. You can make decisions based on what happens, and see the driver do it. You can see the instant pounces on opportunity, that might be subtle, but they are there. Here, ua-cam.com/video/cpqgKTODdSg/v-deo.html he sees the slight loss in forward drive, and you can see leading up to the jump, and even in the air before the landing, he was chomping at the bit to get on the throttle because he saw the window of opportunity.

I definitely felt like the grey car wasn't aggressive enough. Black car was a lot more forward and didn't hold back and it paid off for him in the end.

#55 had the slower car but by far the better driver. The camera car was way faster on acceleration and top speed but the driver just hadn't got the skill to make full use of it!

Are they jumping around 15 feet in the air and 75+ feet long? For some reason it's difficult for me to tell.
Not yet in tune with the timing and know-how of this kind of racing, but the gray driver looked kind slow into and out of a corner.
I get the drafting but why so much bumping? Multiple chances to out take and overtake 🤔

doing it so they can all pull ahead of the people behind them a few seconds of drafting teamwork could save them from being passed
