M-Vave Mini Universe Demo

M-Vave Mini Universe with Flamma Reverb
I recorded this MVave Mini Universe in Cubase in 3 Tracks. I used bloom reverb on left and right hard panning for chords and melody. For swell reverb on center panning with knob settings 50% decays and 75% of mix effects to make reverb swelling and ambient sound only.
My honest review
Pros:
• Mvave Mini Universe is a great pedal for a low bucks/cheap price.
Great reverb sounds with long decays and mix effects.
Cons:
• The Popping sound when toggle the footswitch. I haven't used it on stage so i used this for home recording only. But how it will be the sound if im using this on stage and direct inhouse/mixer or live recordings ?😅
i think this mini universe is better for recordings, you dont need to on/off the footswitch.
• No stereo outputs. I recorded it with hard left and right panning and center as you heard in video.
• No trails. The long decays is useless for this reverb, if i toggle off the mini universe, it cuts the ambient trails . 😥
If the mini universe has no problem in footswitch, popping sounds and trails, i will use this on live gigs and live recordings.
Then,what else can i expect from a cheap pedal? 😅
Note: The mvave mini universe needs psu of 300Ma 9volts power center negative(-) polarity.

Mine arrived yesterday. Within an hour the 9 'verbs had become 8. The selector knob is well dodgy. That's OK though. I only bought it for the excellent shimmer, so if that keep working the pedal was terrific value for money.

Hello. You have the opportunity to compare mini universe and flamma, how do you rate them?

Hi . For me , i will rate flamma reverb 9/10. Flamma is a good reverb with high/low cuts knobs and have trails. I like the #4 (cave reverb) and #7 (mod reverb) But there are some reverbs dont have in flamma compare to mini universe.
7/10 for mini universe. iv been surprised with this pedal.. i like the sound of reverbs of this mini universe but the bad is , there is pop sound when you toggle the footswitch and there is no trails. But if you want a reverb like a Big Sky tone and for recordings only, i think this is good for the low price pedal.
As of my pedal tone experiments 😅 , i decided to set aside them together on pedalboard, from mini universe > flamma reverb . The flamma reverb can preserve the trails of mini universe .

Yes the flamma reverb cave reverb only with small amount of decay and mix.
