What you have done is so beautiful, unselfish and kind :) I may not be gay but I was "one of those girls " who fiercely protected our gay male friend from 7th gr. on.People were such pricks to him, but he always had us ( 5 girls)! In 9th grade he wanted to go to vo-tech to learn cosmetology. He was soooo scared, it was palpable !! We all encouraged him and 3 of the girls in "our group" signed up with him. Years later(I left NJ) I learned he OWNED his own salon! IT DOES GET BETTER!

I'm a straight male but every now and then, I meet a man who is so wonderful and loving that I would totally cuddle with him. William, you're part of that group.
One of the best it gets better videos I've ever seen.
    Thank you.

Outstanding! Thank you William for taking the time to speak out and help the gay community! I wish this kind of PRO-GAY attitude had been around when i was in high school 32 years ago - what a differnce that would have made in my life! You are awewsome! And really cute! :~) GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!

"I decided I was bi" exactly the way it was for me. It always astounds me that continents apart, people still have the same stories to tell, there is always someone out there who understands :) it gets better, i stand for that too.

I was lucky for my family to sort of come out to me. The oddest part in the world is that it was the very day I was to come out to them so it was very serendipitous in such a way that it made me very emotional. My father, who I thought would put me through hell was the most accepting of my homosexuality. I thank you for putting the word out to these people, you are an inspiration to all of us. You are a voice for those without one and you give a reason for those with no call to speak up. :)

What a sincerely kind young man. I just started watching several of the It gets better videos primarily by celebrities which is great. I found this one extremely honest. Believe him.. there are those hiding the same fears you might be, there's more than just you, even though it doesn't feel like it. So happy to see this addressed and wish that when I was young there could have been something/anything like this. It has really gotten better. I've lived long enough to see it! Be part of it!

Being yourself it's awesome! No matter Gay Straight or Bi, Trans, You're born this way and even if people say they don't like you, you are not going to change for anyone! We are proud of who we are! Thank God he made us this way!

Go for whatever makes you happy, regardless of your sexual preferences. It takes a lot of courage these days for a young man to admit he's gay. You did awesome!!
BTW, loved seeing a clip of your video on a "It Gets Better" commercial on Fox tonight.

I love your video. The 'itgetsbetter' videos bring me to tears. I love how something is being done to change how society treats it's members. We are all equal but we are not the same. We are unique and should celebrate our originality. Be yourself. Enjoy your life. Love everyone equally.

I love the message you send, and I bet it was pretty emotional for you. I have a girlfriend, who I plan to be with for a while. When I started having feelings towards her, I scared myself, and really hated myself. I soon learned that she was gay, herself, and I felt a lot better. Now, we go out and she's the love of my life. It does get better, even while you're being bullied. Embrace who you actually are. It just takes away from what they're trying to say.

You are honestly amazing. I am gay and proud and was asked all the time about it and I would always deny it. Just a year and almost a half ago I came out and there so many people who accept me now because I'm true to myself! You are great!

Omg this video actually made me cry... I never cry, EVER!!!! I'm speechless... i've seen quite a few 'It gets better' videos but this was just mesmerizing. I can't quite comprehend why it's affected me soo much, maybe i'm more of an emotional wreck than I thought I was? Maybe hearing your story reminded me of what I went through?! Does it get better or is it getting better? I think so... slowly. I can definitely sense a change... so maybe slowly things are getting better. I hope so.

I just want to say thank you for this video. I am probably a bit older than you (33 to be exact) and some who watch this video, but this is what today's gay youth needs to hear to know that things will be ok and work out for them. I am gay, and wish I had something like this to see when I was ready to come out. Luckily, it wasn't that bad for me. I know it's not as easy for a lot of people, but like you said, It does get better. As long as that is emphasized everything will be just fine.

Way to keep it real with the pr0n. ;) I tooootally used "bi" as a stepping stone. haha. high five! Thank you so much, Love.

My school president announced he was bi on facebook and there was not one single negitive comment. Just a bunch of postitive love comments. I go to a private Christian school. I've never gone to a school I love more. Everybody loves everybody. I'm not saying my school is perfect but its a hella lot better than most. No judgement. Everybody's who they are with hiding it in front of certain people. I love this whole it gets better campaign. It made me cry when I saw the commercial.

You are amazing- inspirational. Recently I met the only person that has ever made me feel so loved- a man, yes- but growing-up I never cared about gender and vaguely recognized it. Though I have only come out to my friends, fiance, and mother, my sister somehow found out and asked my mother, "aren't you going to stop her?" But my mom has always been supportive luckily- yes in school I got made fun of- lesbian, *itch, butch. It's only through love and encouragement that I made it- I love you so.

I student teach, and I know the openly gay kids in my class are suffering from bullying. It's heartbreaking and frustrating, and I've been wishing I could do more than just remind them that it won't always be like this. I can't wait to show them this. Your video is so affirming, and I want my kids to hear another voice reminding them that it will get better. Have you ever considered being an inspirational speaker? And not just to the LGBT community but in general? I think you'd be great at it.

Only 2 people know i am bi, and they are my closest friends. They are some of my only friends. I hope it does get better. I love you, your story, and your courage. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
    Deuteronomy 31:6
That's the CORRECT Christian way of saying, God loves everyone. Love the sinner, reject the sin. And to people bashing homophobe Christians, there are alot of Christians who are like that, but they do not follow Jesus correctly. Jesus said, love thine neighbor as you would thyself. How bout we all just live in Jesus' message,

My coming out was the last 12 years, although it might still leave a trouble with my brother until now. And you know why? the catholic school we used to go is the culprit of it! But never mind, who cares about if a local group of puppy, unemployment, and beggars in your area tell bad things about you.

JasonHill IS right when he says, "Satan has brought a lie to eyes of people and as long as we accept that it is okay or "it gets better" we will never overcome to obtain victory!!"
True, but the lie Satan spreads that God doesn't know what He's doing when He creates gay people, or that the Lord's creations are "wrong" or "sinful". Only by spreading this deceit can Satan undermine God's authority, and encourage the weak-minded to accept man-made prejudice and ignorance over God's will & love.

"Bellezza" darling, what amazes Bobby Griffiths' (Prayers for Bobby) old lover/boyfriend "Blaine" here about your wonderful generation are the many things that you all thankfully, take for granted! You navigate beautifully though sexuality, race, gender equality etc. That two people of the same gender who love each other, will soon have the right to marry whom they choose, raise or rear children is a wonderful given for you all!
