Im going to be honest here; i was expecting some barely flying plastic thing but im really surprised (in a good way) of the building quality and looks of this cute Piper Cub. Well done, hats off to you Sir!
Yes
My grandfather had a Cub back in the 50's, he flew it from Washington to Oregon to go on dates with my Grandma (he was way cooler than me:P). He also loved to and could build pretty much anything, seems like a fun project.
I like that bit of cinematography where the shot is from inside the fuselage. Well done.
What a fantastic video - thank you for answering a load of questions through making such a thorough job. You have fantastic attention to detail. Clear Skies!!
One of the best assembly vids ive seen. Well done
Excelente material, gracias!
Another masterpiece from this man,the only channel that i don't joke with it's upload notifications 😅 good job man💓 Hats off to you,i would bring my questions later after studying the video😍
WORLD CLASS bir kanalsınız. Maşallah. Gurur verici. Teşekkürler video için.
Brilliant... I love the filament hinges!!!
Teşekkür...!
Nice plane! It has a lot of great design features.
I just buy a new 3D printer because of your kind contribution! Cheers !
Thanks for your updated session.

Thanks for your updated session. I'll watch your later. I'm in my work LOL - I need your tutorial soooo much
Pilotajında süper işçiliğine üstad tebrikler...
Wow your amazing with all your ideas you inspired me to build my own foamboard airplane. I'm going to maiden it this week. 😊
herzamanki gibi 10 numara 5 yıldz.. süper oldu.
was super satisfying to watch
Really well done. Great job

perfect!
Yine harika bir proje 👍
Nice video
very nice !!! tank you !!!
To prevent the wings from sagging due to sunlight, we recommend 1mm carbon rods instead of filaments.
It's melted??
@@achmadiqbal80 pla easy to deform under heat
Just started building that model. The holdup was getting a printer that could do a decent job of printing it (that being a Qidi X-Max3).
Beautiful hand painting work looks good I do same thing I hand paint with sign painting paint and brushes like old school sign lanterns for my pinstripes and designs on my 3d printed planes or sometimes I'll 3d print it in the main color then paint the design on to it saves time and few bucks in paint
I love your videos! I would like to show you my project of DIY plane mixing 3D printing + foamboard!!!
First like and first view...love from India ❤️
I wouldn't recommend painting PLA black when you want to use it outside on a sunny day! ;)
Awesome build and footage though!
Thumbs up!!!!
Bravo bro
Mantap om
En sevdiğim model
harika...
this is awesomeeee, i might print this because ive got a 3d printer, some extra filament, and time. and i really want to start flying rc planes
okay i downloaded the files, what do i do now, i cant open tem in my slicer, so like how does this work
@@Evan-rq2ee Bro please share the downloaded file , i cant download it
Mükemmel
New sub!
New sub! Liked 🙏🚀👍👍
New sub ! Liked 🚀😊😄
That's the way you do it ...
hello.
it so beautifull...
can you add mpu6050 and oled to your handmade 6 channel arduino nano radio control?
mpu6050 is more important...
Clever hinging...
Abi gerçekten harika işler yapıyorsun eline sağlık. Tu-95 tarzı pervaneleri birbirinin tersine dönen bi uçak yapabilirmisin?
Show !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tolles Video, sehr gut gemacht! Danke! Danke!
Thank you for files
Can you share your printing profile or printing settings? it looks really good!!
I used the S3D (Simplify3D) settings shared by the designer. I just changed the stream value. Flow value for body parts: 53 , for wing parts 54
Hi, I watched this on my tablet. Your video is so cool I almost got frostbite from watching it. This took a lot of thought and talent to create. I am a retired RC modeler. I have been teetering on getting involved with 3D printing. Your video has pushed me over the edge! My wife is already sorry she let me watch this. LOL I have some questions. What printer are you using? What design software are you using? Where do you get filaments? I is it worth it to buy an extruder? Is there a shareware sight where I can buy designs? THANKS! Shalom/gw
Thanks. 3d printers I use; Original prusa MK3S+ and Artillery Genius. I buy the filaments from a local dealer. It doesn't matter. There are many sellers. I shared a link for aircraft designs in the description area below the video. Piper Cub is free. Apart from that, there are many sites where you can get plane designs for 3D. Some... www.planeprint.com , www.eclipson-airplanes.com , www.3dlabprint.com
That filament is lightweight PLA. It’s a bit trickier to work with than the standard plastics for 3d printing.
elinize kolunuza sağlık bu model uçağı satarmısınız kumanda hariç?
Can we use 3000 mah battery?
Didi you use the pre sliced Gcodes??
Can you use a soldering iron to connect the parts together?
Reis acaba ejderha tarzı bir uçak yapar mısın ?
Which slicer did you use? I've been playing with this print for a few days and I've hammered out all the issues, except the flanges where the parts come together sometimes don't fit correctly. What slicer did you use? I tried Cura, but might switch to Prusa.
I used Simplify3D for this plane. (Factory Files)
Where did you get the rudder and elevator push rod from? Can't find any long enough.
I think it is a simple cub model
What size 3D printer is required to print the parts?
Did you print this in Vase mode or Normal?
I have a Bambu Labs printer using Bambu Studio, which isn't recognizing the interior geometry of most of the parts. Just the external geometry. Fuselage #1 printed just fine. Everything after that has been a bust.
The bamboo silcer is very new. I don't think it has some of the print settings needed for airplanes. Designers will probably make improvements on this issue in the future. Prusa silicer also did not support this a few years ago.
Beautiful, I downloaded the project weeks ago and soon the mold and I make a video in my channel, if you want to see I printed eclipson but 1.4 👍🏻
Awesome build! did you print the ESUN LW-PLA parts with the 3Dlabprint provided Gcodes or did you reslice for the ESUN filament? Thanks!
In general, I used the settings specified by 3Dlab. I made minor changes to the nozzle temperature and flow settings. You may need to adjust these two depending on the filament brand you use and your 3D printer.
wht r the lengths needed for the rods?
HI i have question i might travel to turkey and wanted to fly rc airplanes there do u have any ideas what is required for license to get to fly there also the shops i can buy parts from if u can plz inform me also promodel donst have much of parts if u can tell me about more shops ty!!
İlk defa uçurmuyorsun belli ki 😅
Hi, quite new to rc and doing this for a school club. How did you connect/pair the remote to the controller system? Is there a general guide to do so? thanks.
This is not the same for every brand, but in general matching the transmitter and receiver is a simple procedure. Search with the word "BINDING" for the brand and model you are using. You can find many resources.
If I print this plane of ABS will it fly??? The thing is my printer cannot print PLA.
Elinize sağlık. Daha öncede videolarınızı görmüştüm. Uzun zamandır bu hobidesinizdir diye tahmin ediyorum. IMUK'u görünce şaşırdım :) Proje dosyasında değişim yaptınız mı yoksa direkt yazdırdınız mı?
Teşekkürler. Akış ayarını değiştirdim sadece. Gövde 53, kanatlar 55. Başka bir değişiklik yok.
👍👍
👍👍👍
Any rc plane require to check air directions .. please tell me
I love my 3d printer I can litteally 3d print any rc plane I want they looks very scale and beautiful and notade out of foam of any kind and fly beautifuly and no need to monokote or pin pieces of balsa wood to plans and glue pieces of balsa wood together and spend a few .months building an amazing plane that you got 1000 dollars into and then the esc desides to have a brown out of decides to go bad and boom beautiful balsa plane or store bought 600 dollar plus beautiful foam plane gone in seconds. That's why I love 3d printing my own planes they look beautiful fly like a true balsa plane with a little weight and fly way better then any store bought foam planes. And if I crash my 3d printed plane I can just print a new part in a hour or so or just print a whole new plane in about 24 hours for the cost of 10 cents or less in plastic
What’s the size of your decal?
Super job, please tell me what program you used to do g code. I see you have a Prusa printer. I am adding you to my favorite channels.
Thanks. I use Prusa slicer and Cura. But I mostly use Prusa slicer.
What's your settings? I've also printed the model using eSun LW-PLA but the stringing is crazy.
Settings vary by machine. You should use the settings that the designer posted on his site to get started and find the appropriate settings for your particular machine with a bit of trial and error.
Elinize sağlık harika olmuş. Lw pla yi nereden temin ettiniz?
seninfabrikan.com/filament/esun/epla-lw/1-75/ ben buradan almıştım.
This will be more scale if it has couple of wing struts with it 😍
Bhai ESC brushless banao
Bir roket gibi bir şey yapabilir misiniz? En yüksek hangi noktaya kadar çıkarabiliriz?
Can I ask what type of paint did you use looks stunning
acrylic spray paint
do you remember the wall thickness you had in the printed parts ? Mine are 0.40mm with the origianl gcode, i think they should be near 0.60 (based on the user guide)
0.61 - 0.62
@@Kendin-Yap which flow did you use? i'm unable to go over 0.4
Hi, did you have any problems with unsupported areas of the nose? I am trying to print in lw PLA as well but bridged areas come out really ugly!
I had a problem when I tried it with Artillery Genius. But then I printed with Prusa MK3S+ (S3D factory file). And it was okay. When I tried it with Ender 3 V2 and ready-made G-Code, I was able to print without any problems.
Being that I live in a 5th wheel, don't have space for 3d printer, do you sell the printed parts for people to build their own planes. I understand I will need to get al the extra stuff to make if fly
I'm not trading. There are companies that provide 3D printing services. You can research them.
KendinYap great video, and thank you for sharing your 'skill'.
Can you please explain why you choose to use diferent motor 2212 (recomended is 2830)?
In 'coments' someone ask you if he can use 3s 1300mah battery, you say no, but in manual recomended battery is 3s 1300mah?
I am guesing, but, this is why you must use 30g of 'ballast' to get a right cg.?
Thanks.. The recommended 2830 is the same motor as the 2212 I am using. Why? :)
Motor manufacturers use two different standards. Some brands use the outer body diameter of the motor, some brands use the inner rotor diameter. The value 22 is the rotor diameter inside. The value of 28 is the outer casing diameter of the motor. The outer body diameter of 2212 is also 28. Most of the big and high quality brands identify with rotor dimensions. The most accurate description is the rotor dimensions. The other is misleading. The technical values of the Emax XA2212 I use and the recommended motor are similar.
Why I used 1000mah battery. The problem is not about weight. Dimensions are a problem.. The nose area of this model is very small. It is impractical for me to insert and remove the 1300mah battery.
@@Kendin-Yap thank you for 'clearing' that out. Great. Thumb up ;)
I really don't wanna to 'mess' with you, your choice, Emax XA2212 is the 'best' motor for Piper CUB?
And in your 'raw' video of flight with Piper CUB your flight time was cca 4.30 min? That is max flight time on 1000mah 3s battery, or you just get bored ;) ?
Would it be a problem printing this in Pla+, weightwise? I have some yellow Pla+ laying around you see🙂
Printed parts will be approximately 40% heavier. That's a little too much for a small plane. It does not prevent it from flying. But Stall speed will increase.
