Or face the worse. Be a slave for 20 years or be a rebel. The nuclear strike would be the most merciful, at least you wouldn't know about the near total extinction of not only humans but almost all live on Earth.
@@theopinionreaper I believe the facility being nuked is canon either way because the concept came from the official HL writer and not Gearbox, I might be wrong tho

To me, the most horrific of the voice lines will always be Black Mesa's Forget About Freeman. The absolute fear and panic the VA delivered near that end at whatever was about to happen to him feels so damn genuine. Everytime I hear it I get goosebumps.

Closed my eye and pictured myself working at a fob in comms listening to the entire operation falling apart an was absolutely immersed
Alternate option; you're running C&C from a frikkin' AC-130.
"I can offer you a battle you have no chance of winning." - Gman.
As soon as the Mesa incident occurred, the HECU soldiers were already doomed. To die from a nuclear strike or to die in a seven-hour war.

Not sure if OPFOR was canon so maybe just left to die in either black mesa or the 7 hour war like you said.

HECU didn't deserve any of this, nobody did, Black Mesa alone was probably took the bloodiest battle on american soil, by far.
If black mesa was a movie it would probbaly be one of the best

If someone ever makes a Black Mesa movie I feel like this is how the trailer would sound like, and I would love to see it with friends.
You fucked up and used your own IFAK on the buddy who died via Hound Eye blast
im literally mentally stuck at LZ-Sparrow
at least sparrow got some support, after that they're probably all dead and bloodborne the LAV batallion that came to their aid
The ones who died at MESA got it easier than the world who wasn't prepared for the horrors about to come.
The soundtrack to Black Mesa is absolutely phenomenal.
HECU marines were doomed when black mesa incident started and when HECU marines returned since the 7 hours started.
not just them, we were all doomed the moment that experiment happened.
@@Snowwolf9489 I'm still wondering what Is happening in the americans city after the 7 Hours War .

the second track makes the experience worth it
the deep trumpets after the radio transmission at 0:49 fit so perfectly
I'm glad someone noticed that, I had to make the transition line up perfectly.

Operation black mesa remake We are waiting for a while
Should've stayed home and drink coffee...
I always wondered if they were prepared they would’ve done better
Honestly they could have if they weren’t ordered to kill all witnesses and the CIA black ops weren’t ordered to kill HECU
Just playing war thunder
Nice
Which soundtracks did you use?
Sounds like Transcendent by Joel Nielsen.
Not the whole soundtrack obviously but
1. Black Mesa Source Theme
2. BMS Xen, Alien
3. Black Mesa Source Theme Remix
All by Joel Nielsen
Thx@@-secretdivinity
Make this but with the hunting ty
without the music?
for that it's easy to find the video with all the HECU conversations in the game, without xen's music
