Yet again a great episode! What an amazing place Armenia is to cycle through! And for you, Arev, it’s such an achievement to have reached home from home. So pleased for you. Right now you have 302 👍🏻, but I hope you’ll reach 342 soon! 😊
Yes, Armenia is great for cycling. It has a lot of elevation, but one gets so many wonderful views and encounters. We're getting closer. In any case, setting a challenge like this we get so much more likes and views, it is crazy.
Thanks for Armenia Part 2! The high point for me was the line up of buses in Vanadzor. Did I catch an Ikarus 200 series in there too? I know you have to focus on the bike touring (and I love it) but I am hoping that you have time to show some off-bike material from Yerevan too. Would love to see your insider-outsider perspectives on the city and life in contemporary Armenia. Oh and please continue with the tongue-in-cheek captions and the great music selections (and credits).
There is actually still plenty of those rusty cans in service all over Armenia. Only in Yerevan they have been replaced. I think there is also a PAZ-3205, but I am not sure what the model of the 5th bus in the line (white with "Express" logo) is. I do think however, that the Mercedes star in the front is not legit. We did not film during our time in Yerevan, but there will be a short recap over that time in the coming episode! Not sure what you mean with your last sentence. We're always dead serious...
Es waren ein paar großartige Tage mit euch zusammen! Hoffe wir treffen und irgendwann nochmal irgendwo auf diesem wunderschönen Planeten. Tolle Episode! Binni
A fantastic and fascinating episode. It makes me want to get my bike out and cycle him through Armenia right now! I can't wait for the next instalment. I have hit the like button to speed up the process. Jay
Hey everyone! It would be awesome if you could help us reach our goal of 342 likes fast! This really helps growing the audience and we really need that. Also you can now support us via www.paypal.me/amazingworldbiketour but of course www.buymeacoffee.com/aworldbiketour is also possible. We recently crashed our drone and it seems like our external hard drive is about to die. We do not have a backup drive, so any help you can give is highly appreciated! Thank you so much, Arev and Mathias
@@AmazingWorldBikeTour can you believe I don’t even drink coffee!😂 Well a good reason to give that black gold to some who can use it. And maybe, just maybe… one day I’ll end up in that line of sponsors near the end of the video. And now gonna have a look if the magic number of 243 has been reached! 🙏🏻
I love your videos and envy your travels! I have a few questions that I hope you will answer: What brand of bikes are you riding? What is the purpose of those blue styrofoam 'noodles' you each carry? Thank you very much.
Hey Bob 👋 We use the blue pipe insulation foam to make our bicycles visually wider. We feel like it helps to remember drivers to keep an acceptable distance while overtaking. Both of our bicycles are second-hand. Mathias is on a 10 year old Velotraum Konzept. Arev rides a 15 year old MTB Cycletech Andale with all parts replaced.
It must have been so emotional for Arev to reach home after such a long trip. I have only done small trips (up to a week), and i allways feel emotional in the end hehe. Why 342 btw?
Even for me it was, so absolutely. But it felt mostly weird because it was always only supposed to be a stepping stone on our even greater journey. 342 is literally just a number, but we like the 42!
Well, we asked for 300 likes once before and that worked well. We added "the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything." and we are surprised that you are the only one asking 😅
Nice videos! I watched all your episodes and will follow you future adventures. Tell me if you go to Sweden and I can help you. On my channel I'm bike touring Sweden and still do😁🌲🌲🌲
God bless Armenia and give all people of Armenia peace and European future 🇪🇺❤🇦🇲
Let’s hope so 😉
You guys are doing a wonderful thing. Something most cycle touring enthusiasts just dream about. Lots of respect and love to you both😊
Thanks so much! Actually we meet quite some people living the dream on the road, but they don't make videos about it 😅
Love from Pakistan.
😀
all the best... good video...
Thank you 🙂
Another awesome video! Love the music :)
Thank you! It is all Armenian artists.
It was a very lovely episode!!
Thank youuuu! :-)

Sure, we'll put them if we can 😉

Another great episode! I love the way you are using the music - I guess that's Armenian music, right? Keep going!
Thank you! Yes, all of it is Armenian music. Some contemporary, some are classics.

You're right! Not sure about the age, though. Apparently, they are still being built 🤷?!

Thanks, Jay! We hope Armenia will be on your route once you go on your big tour!

Thoroughly enjoying following your adventure. I can't believe some of the hills and rough roads you tackle. And you are still smiling.🙂
Awesome, thanks for tagging along!

It's 342, but we're getting closer so fast! We still have to figure out some problems with music rights for the next episode... *panic*
342 is taking to looooooooong!😮 good luck with the music rights🤞🏻
@@SlowMovingSaddles that's exactly how we feel every single time 🤣
I would give you two likes (or more) if they would let me!
Thanks once again.
Thank you. We'll get there! If everyone would give one like it would certainly be enough ;-)

Hey Bob 👋
We use the blue pipe insulation foam to make our bicycles visually wider.
We feel like it helps to remember drivers to keep an acceptable distance while overtaking.
Both of our bicycles are second-hand.
Mathias is on a 10 year old Velotraum Konzept.
Arev rides a 15 year old MTB Cycletech Andale with all parts replaced.
About 300 👍 to go!
It is mind-boggling that this works. We see double the amount of likes 👍

342 is a very specific number. Is there some reason for this specific number or it is so just cause?
Well, we asked for 300 likes once before and that worked well. We added "the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything." and we are surprised that you are the only one asking 😅
Are you going through China? Do you have visa?
Well, we hope we will eventually ;-)

Cool, thanks! Right now we are on the way further east, but Sweden seems fantastic for bicycle touring!
