    Why keep the VS only to 1,000 FPM? I can climb faster in a Cirrus if I had to. Just curious. Great video!

    Literally flies the plane for 10s before engaging auto pilot.. I know there was a danger with the mountain range around the airport but I would like to see then fly a bit more. Air Canada have a protocol that the air plane must always land on auto pilot surely this type of flying leads to complacency in cockpit. Anyways love the channel the queen of the skies truly Is beautiful

    • @Optimus-Prime-Rib
      @Optimus-Prime-Rib 3 роки тому

      No, what it leads to, is, the pilots having the capacity to monitor the situation/systems etc. Especially in areas with adverse terrain or less than ideal weather conditions etc etc.
      The autopilot is a to to be used to maximise situational awareness.
      However i know of a few airlines where auto-lands are SOP. This i do not agree with. Especially as in normal fair weather conditions the ILS isn’t protected.
