Konami, Capcom, Nintendo just to name the big ones almost only composed hits for their games. Famous Orchestras still play the sound tracks. Can't be that bad.
I love listening to these themes because I get instantly transported back to when I was a little kid. I remember things I don't normally do, memories that come back with the music. I get to relive things I didn't know I missed.

I’m a Japanese person who actually played Street Fighter II. The guitar is incredibly cool! Especially the intro for Guile's stage-it really gives a sense that a battle is about to begin. It reminds me of my own gameplay back in 1991.😎🇯🇵

She is! She actually wrote 90% of it. A couple here (Sagat’s theme) and one more were remakes from the original SF.
She also made the Legend Of Mana soundtrack which is peak squaresoft.
