The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones. If you wear headphones, your mind won't be blown, but it will go, "woah, that's cool."
I'm also the producer for the Winding Road UA-cam Channel:

Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly press vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, it's pretty nuts. Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. Why are you still reading this, you should be watching the video. With headphones! Hah, had to sneak that in there one more time. Later! - Авто та транспорт
Honestly, this is all the luxury I would ever want, and for the price and warranty offered by KIA, it's almost an unbeatable offer. KIA and Mazda are two of my favorite brands right now. They're doing a lot of good stuff for a reasonable price.
Protector of the Republic This is knockoff Mercedes-Benz
@@ernie3902 It's not a knock off of anything, it's a Kia, clearly, and it's a great car.
@@ernie3902 It's a better quality car than a Mercedes Benz. Since their alliance with Renault and Nissan, MB has put out nothing but crap. They look good but the quality and reliability is shit. A friend bought a new C-Class last year and it's been nothing but trouble. He's not the only one. This KIA will likely be a lot more reliable.
@@weedmastersr Mercedes implemented all the features that this kia has a long time ago. Benz is the front runner of innovation within the automotive industry. I'm sure you'd give your left lung to be in a 2019 S Class in contrast to owning this KIA. As far as reliability goes you've obviously never owned a Mercedes, BMW or Audi the only way they break is if you neglect them heavily. I'm sorry, but I am not with this new trend of these sub par brands starting to pop off with these so called "new" models when they're just regurgitation of another brands ideas.
@@danakeegan5827 What do you mean? This is an executive luxury sedan on the same level as a Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7-series at half the price. Most cars in this class cost 100+k.
Damn, Kia has come a long way. Anyone remember the Kia Amanti?
Jaguar looking car that nobody asked for? Yep I do! But then big irony is that Kia nowdays is far more reliable than Jaguar these days... really.. what the hell happened to you Jaguar (cries)...
thecarexpert21 it looked like a jaguar
Oh my god that car was horrible! The only thing it had going for it was its similarities of a jaguar!
I have one sitting in my back yard. Runs great just old and rusting :D also has like a 4 inch display which is impressive for a 2004 Amanti.
@@kotor87 Jaguar hasn't been Jaguar for ages, I think currently either Tata or Geely owns them XD
the wood on the wheel is the only wood that is actually faux, the rest is real. absolutely amazing vehicle
Peter Schreyer designed this car, who was head designer at AUDI, famous for designing Audi TT.
Also, Pierre Leclercq is involved at designing this car as well, he was designer at BMW. now working at KIA motors.
for those who saying, this car looks similar to german car, well because they designed it. That is why.
Lol
It’s almost unreal to think that Kia is producing cars to this standard at a much cheaper price point and offering all the same options as BMW, Mercedes, etc. Finally some competition against the Germans
Not really competition because, KIA lacks last 10% of attention to detail "real" brands provide. And K900 sells like nothing in the US
All with a 10 year/ 100k mile powertrain warranty. Try that Germans.
I’m sure it will be much more reliable than it’s German competition as well.
But it looks like a s class copycat
@@igeekone Who are worries about reliability when they are shopping for car that's over 50k? If you are going to complain about maintenance cost in luxury class of cars, maybe they deserve a cheap Hyundai instead
This review just had me looking up different Kia's for sale in my area lol
Great as always!
Looks like a mix of mercedes and bmw .. wow
Not a chance, I read in a Chinese newspaper that everything in Asia is original and not at all copied from Europe/USA. No tariffs necessary.
surely🙂😂😂😂😂😂
I was about to type the same about merc and bmw looks
German designers
Yep they're the same designers who designed the German giants Kia is not messing around anymore
If this depreciates just like the previous gen it's a fantastic value for money 3 years from now. Basically a bigger, softer, more luxurious tech loaded Stinger GT
@Mohammed AsoIf potential customers only cared about Value for money in this segment and not the badge, it would be at the top of the sales charts. Used market is a different story.
@@MrNemo721 that's true, for most people in this bracket, it's all about the badge and nothing else.
@@MrNemo721 Kia outright said they don't expect the car to sell well, and never will. The entire point of the K900 is a halo car; it's the one they're going to encourage Kia dealerships to have in the showroom just to show off what today's Kia can do.
I hope it does I can get the 2017 for 20k lol I have a wholesale license lol.
Have you seen how fast a 7 series or a S500 depriciates? I just answered you with a question...
Definitely do a night drive so that we can see those powerful headlights.
They already did one on their sister channel ua-cam.com/video/HEB0LXDJML0/v-deo.html&
This is a beauty!, created by Kia...They are really thinking outside the box and always trying to improve in many ways, this company is amazing they provides unbelievably large amount of facilities and just overfills your expectations and needs.
Good job Kia, bravo!
Honestly, this car is simply amazing! Considering that Kia has hired BMW M division engineers for the powertrain and designers from Mercedes-Benz is really paying dividends for this brand. When I look at the K900 I am really impressed by the sense of luxury that this car invokes, and it does so at a fraction of the price of say a BMW 7 Series or a Mercedes S-Class. The infotainment in my opinion is a direct copy and paste of BMW's iDrive, which is quite frankly the best in the business and it also includes some stylistic elements from the very elegant, and refined, Mercedes S-Class. Items such as the speaker grilles, the quilted leather, as well as the horizontal row of buttons for the HVAC controls really reminds of the S-Class. As the old antecdot goes, "If youre going to steal, you might as well steal from the best" and I really think that Kia is actually doing a better job of integrating its infotainment, and making it more intuitive for its users. The only thing that I feel that is holding this manufacturer back is the preconcieved notion that this car is an economy brand based on its previous history and I feel like all brands had started off by making affordable cars, and building their way up to a more premium image. While other manufactures progressed faster than others, I can really see Kia evolving in a luxury brand of vehicle. Going forward, I think that Kia should incorporate ambient lighting into their cars, use the infotainment from the K900 on trickle it down to the Stinger GT/more afforable cars, and incorporate more interior color options for its vehicles. I can only imagine a K900 with a supercharged V8, carbon fiber interior, red leather, and a black chrome package! Also, I may be biased consider I own a 2015 Kia Optima SXL Turbo, but Kia makes a damn good (AND RELIABLE) car!
I don't think you are being biased at all. I too own a 2018 Kia Optima SX with the technology package. That car itself almost seems as if it competes in a class with a higher price bracket.
Another fanboy bragging engineers and designers Hyundai hired from other companies. I NEVER heard any BMW fanboys bragging about Albert but only Hyundai boys do that. Result is still copy cat designs, lack of attention to detail top tier brands provide. You get what you pay for
@@poymu4929 They ll never understand. Never.
@@panoscoach310 Big reason why I think they always approach at this angle is because, Hyundai fanboys are just Hyundai fanboys and now Hyundai making Genesis, fanboys are now excited they can get luxury car for cheap compared to real luxury brands. (They are coming from Hyundai and upwards) but People who has real luxury cars are going downward. People who really know what owning real luxury is like are not excited for this brand. But people coming from Hyundai, anything is upgrade
@trstnhn violence? Where, when, damn must've missed it. Lol anyway you'll find that preacher in other comment sections, he's got nothing but time.
This car is just beautiful
It has the simple clean look, the exterior looks nice, and it has all the features we would want.
I dig how you placed the camera on your head. That is a very cool dynamic! Good thinking!!
That car is absolutely gorgeous from outside. Reminds of of a Aston Martin DBS
Mhhhhh.... I think it looks more like the S-Class Mercedes-Benz
Looks like a Bentley imo
Topher! Another unique car selection!
Always wanted to see the K900
Like you said, going to be a very solid used buy in a few years. I’d love to have one for road trips.
I've never liked Kia but this car insane! The sound is also very good as far I can tell.
SUPER quiet interior. Sounds like this guy is speaking inside a empty vault with headphones on
Man I love This Review. PoV looking forward while showing us what going on. Thanks Bro!
That interior is really up there with the German competitors. Good job KIA
Wow im shocked how good the audio sounded through camera. Never heard so much bass and quality from camera inside car ;
Roni92pl mic
I love the change lane signal camera
Thank you so much ❤❤❤ i am currently looking at one k900
I like the interior not a typical KIA very few buttons and very clean looking and good quality.👍👍👍
You’re reviews are nice.. smooth and modern
Great video, thanks, great value for the money.
Wouldn't believe it's a Kia if it wasn't for the badge, my last kia experience was an early 2000s base model Rio with a cvt so they have come a long way
Kia is like an Audi for half the price.
Amazing where they are now!
Lobster with Mustard and Rice yes juste ugly af 😂
@@surronzak8154 I don't think it is that ugly tbh
I mean it basically looks like a Mercedes from the outside lol
PINK MIRRORS! MY GAWD! making me want one in the used market in the next couple of years
I think it looks like a great car. I can't get over the "thump" from the road that I hear, it doesn't scream quality to me. While I have driven a 550i with the m sport package, I describe that car as "running through bumps" vs running over bumps like in most cars. And the difference being is you don't get this hop or thump like behavior or noise.
I once tried this car in Korea.
it is very conservative luxury sedan with great price.
If u guys dont care of badges, i highly recomend it.
James C mercedes is still better
@@mahmoudarab8516 think about price LOL
@@mahmoudarab8516 Of course Benz could be better but k900 can offer great value.
@@mahmoudarab8516 what is better? Why is the c class better?
Good job KIA.....
Hope one day can buy K900...
I have the 2017 version and this new version is better in many important respects. Somehow it is cheaper too. It now has better looks inside and out, AWD and Android Auto / Apple CarPlay -- major improvements. On the other hand the new ones don't have the 5L V8, the double size sunroof, or soft close doors.
Perfekt Design
Drove a Mazda CX-9 rental the other day. Shit was fast and nice inside.
Wow this car is awesome
Is my impression or this interior is very similar to previous 5 series BMW?
Looks so amazingggg 🔥
That steering wheel screams class
That sound system is too good, I thought the song was over the video
How do you setup the camera to get the POV in this angle ??
It's a Kia, in hindi Kia means "what is it"
*What TH is it*
May I ask, what is your job called and how does one retain that job?
Listen to your fans we want an pov review and drive of the Lincoln navigator .. no body haven't done a one video like that
Finally 🌹 my dream car .. nice review 🌹
damn kia! im in love
I cannot un-see the Christchurch video when i watch these POV driving videos.
subscribe to PewDiePie
Also, I just love four spoke steering wheels.
Could you show how the turn signals look in operation?
The mic setup is so cool
Awesome review
Looks Really Luxury
Awesome kia
Would this compete with the hyundai genesis or equss
Grabbing one of these used in 5 years!
Yup original warranty will probably be gone by that time. Better invest in extended warranty when you do.
Do you hear the whistle with the turbo on this car ?
They really need to change the KIA badge or have a hood emblem with its own distinct style to emphasize its prestige
Of course the sound system is great. I wonder how Lexicon compares to Lexus' Mark Levinson. I have a Harman Kardon system in my 2018 Optima and it's really good.
Monsieur....I'm sure either. But maybe you know that Lexicon was once the audio of choice for Rolls Royce cars. It's pretty good!
Great video!@!👍👍👍👍👍😎
I test drove one and this car is amazing
Ian Jung I believe it. is it comparable to a Mercedes’s or bmw?
okay that thing on the high way.. when he wants to change the lane.. and you see in the cockpit whats behind ou on the right side - holy shit this is fantastic. Does anyone know if one of the German brands have this?? (serious question - would never buy KIA - but this feature is perfect).
This is a mercedes bmw and a audi everything is resembled
You have the same feeling, in the Kia telluride SX.
Can it use regular fuel? Thanks
Love your shoes!
man those roads are brutal
That engine sounds great.
Kia has stepped up their luxury game. If I had 50 k I'd buy it.
In 3 years it will be 25k. That be the time to buy one.
Slam door means no soft close door?
The only Kia sedan I’ll accept.
The wheel design is... Odd. But, this is a Kia! It's a beautiful car, that you can pick up for $20k less in 2 years haha. Then it's unmatched in value
most stock wheels are odd. I think audi wheels could be a bit better but for awhile ford had some pretty cool optional designs
@@treerexaudi I just want to say I was discussing the steering wheel
@@10hourvideos51 haha. I love youtube brother, social media in general. It's so cool to interact with people who share similar passions for cars, business, video games etc.
Commenting on videos allows me to briefly interact with some cool people who reply, like yourself
Not feeling the wood accent part at all.
@@mvrdamonxy7942 I can dig the panel on the steering wheel, but the placement is just weird. The steering wheel has a really odd shape. I prefer my good old 3 spoke steering wheels
I'm sure you might know this already, but I just wanted to point it out that Hyundai Kia Genesis share the same parts, features, and tech, all just designed differently to keep it unique for each brand. K900=G90, which is just an upgraded Hyundai Equus. So what your reviewing is basically the same in the G90.
😐
Really cool car, well done
The cluster looks from a bmw and entertainment system looks like idrive
nice
8:10 lol, couldn't beat those trucks?
You're right about the steering wheel wood looking fake because it is :) Kia says this is the only faux wood in the interior, everything else is real. They weren't able to do that same shape in real wood.
What do you mean by turning on heated and cooled seat at the same time? 🤨
I was wondering about this some time ago and it actually make sense, because seats 'cooling' is really just ventilation.
South Korean cars have had a reputation for not being super high quality, and it took very recent years for Hyundai and Kia to build up that reputation. Not a big South Korean car person, but this sedan is an exception.
The interior resembles all BMW, Mercedes & Audi 😂
And it's still better and waaaay cheaper. Big win for KIA...
Cheaper maybe, but better never
@@Pr0oKyLl3r maybe 6 years ago no. But now for sure yes. Stop living under a rock pal...
@@rolyreyes5097 but at the end of the day... ppl will still buy BMW, Merc and Audi over the KIA; just because of the name/brand.
Not just the brand, u can't compare material quality to a premium German car with Kia who has some, but aren't that good quality, don't get me wrong, it looks gorgeous for a Kia, but It won't be better than any German car, the technology integrated in that car, let's not forget the engine, the gearbox and the 4X4 system.
I'd love to see this car with Tork Motorsports tune on it for that TTV6.
Can’t forget that 100kmile / 10yr warranty
will be a steal when it depreciates under the 20k mark. can't imagine that would be very long either.
At 4:40 you noted that the wood on the wheel is real. It's not. It's the only place where it's not real wood, and Kia said they used fake wood here because they were concerned about the shape warping over time and separating from the wheel.
Thank you finally someone compared it to G90, it real counterpart/competition model. Hows comfort and ride quality compared to G90? ;
They're the same vehicle.... Shares the same parts, features, and tech. Just designed differently.
One of the most important things in a car for me is interior sound proof from exterior elements and in that aspect this car has a loooong way to go compared to the germans. Of course Lexus is the winner in that regard.
The only thing that has better insulation than this is a Mercedes S-klasse. BMW's & even Lexus are not as insulated as this car. Watch other reviewers compare the cabin noise with models from those brands and you'll see what I said is true. However, your comment was from 2020, so perhaps you feel differently now.
i do hear quite a bit of road noise but i would imagination its because they cut costs with soundproofing the wheel well, it shares the interior access line that goes behind the dashboard. this is a very good steal for a used vehicle, in my opinion i wouldnt spend $60,000 for it.
In a few years this will be a great deal.
Very nice car, not quite to the standards of the Japanese or Germans but a great alternative, will definitely outlast those German cars no doubt with the same features as a Lexus or Mercedes
Is this going in Europe?
I’m listening to the music in my car, thinking the Kia stereo sounds great 😂
Review the telluride sx please
@@nishanz He's asking him.
So good
I like the interior
Nice Car !
Do the stinger gt vid aswell mann
Very nice car
LOL...it sells less than 1 per state each month in the US. A comparison with E class or 5 series is a stretch already...S class or 7 series...PLEASE
this car screams my name i want 10
The interior looks like mercedesz has a baby with bmw. Lol
Feels like im there with you
Kia said let's make a premium car for Uber/lyft
