- Pretty much everyone will know Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and most will know songs like We Are The Champions and Killer Queen. But how many will have heard Seven Seas of Rhye? Definitely true Queen fans will do! It was their break out song in the UK and it wasn't even a song at the beginning as it was just an instrumental in their first album and became a full song on Queen II. The breakthrough came when Queen was invited to perform on Top of the Pops in the UK and after that Seven Seas of Rhye got into the UK Top 10 charts and well, the rest is history! Oh the cool fact about the song, is that Queen sing "I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside" at the end!
I played my piano arrangement of Seven Seas of Rhye at London St Pancras train station on that little bit busted piano - dead key and out of tune as usual, but still one of my favourite places to play!

And one more fact about Seven Seas of Rhye: as it is the last track on Queen II and fades out with “I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside”, the first song on their next album (that being Brighton Rock on Sheer Heart Attack) opens with someone whistling “I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside” too.
I knew it immediately but I am a huge fan of Queen. You truly are amazing Cole. You don't just play the notes you feel and deliver the music.
Cole, I'd love to know how many of your subscribers came from your performances at St Pancras. It may be a battered old piano but you can turn it into something very different. I think you should have your 1 million subscriber party there, with that piano...

Thank You Cole, This was one of those days when I couldn't make it to St Pancras. I see you had Gavin and George there for support. This is not a Queen number that I recognise but as you say, I am probably not alone on that one. You did well with this on the Elton John Piano that is in much need of tender loving care.

Do you have to be concerned about copyright on any Queen songs?
No. They are copyright id linked to Queen but since I am playing the music, it is called a composition license which UA-cam does automatically and Queen gets paid money for it by Google. So it is all perfectly fine. You can't just play out the original song though, that would get you in trouble
