@@ColeLam Cole, the Zeppelin catalog is very varied. Their songs were influenced by blues and oriental sounds. It would be interesting for you to listen and choose. There are fantastic songs like Kashmir, The Rain Song, All My Love (maybe you like this one, Robert Plant wrote it for his son who died at the age of five), there are so many, it’s hard to say. I trust your choice, any Zepp song will be great 😊

As Jimmy explains he wanted the song to keep unfolding as it went along to reveal more and more building into a crescendo. This is an excellent performance that stays true to to the original concept.
It’s a loss to all the people that didn’t stop to listen. One time I stopped to hear a violinist playing a classical piece in the DC Metro. Turned out he he was world famous and was playing a very old and valuable violin. Cole you are awesome.

Led Zeppelin was good, but when Rush formed, just brilliant..and I mostly stopped listening to Zep. Especially once Neil Peart (Pea-Yurt) joined, Ohhh...Enki. I didn't like Stairway of Heaven, it was too religious for me. As for the people..and music - most music after 2010 is pure junk, especially with the advent of Auto-Tune and Rap becoming, somehow, more popular. I've heard people playing Rush music using a piano, and I'll tell you, if you come into a song after the person has been playing for a bit, it can be challenging to know *what* the person is playing. I knew from the beginning of this, and I didn't need the title, to know what song he is going to play. But had I been there, or anywhere, after it had gotten started...I wouldn't have been able to tell. With an Electric Guitar, I would have. Drums, I might be able to tell. I know he plays well, and that's what I would have been enjoying. Though the piano isn't my favorite instrument I adore listening when people are actually playing *something* rather than using some kind of lame machine doing sampling. Auto-Tune I cannot handle, that's for people who don't sing well, and shouldn't be singing at all. It sounds horrible. For a lot of people, if it isn't "Pop" junk they don't know what a song is. I don't listen to Pop, and I know a lot of people, at least around where I am, listen to horrible Rap stuff, and are blowing our their ears with over-done bass, so I don't hear a lot of GOOD music anymore from cars. Once in a while.. It also depends where you are on this Earth, some people know Zed Zeppelin and others...not at all. I love Marvel movies, but was very disappointed that not a single Rush song made it into "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies for being such an influential band. I dig his passion, not a song choice I would go with, but...the passion matters and that's why I would have stopped for a little while. Led Zeppelin doesn't really appeal to me much anymore, BUT he didn't sing the lyrics, so...I might have stayed to watch him getting into it because of that.
The dichotomy of this young man dressed in Adidas gear and looking like he just stepped off a soccer pitch playing the most iconic Rock song ever is just too much to handle... in a good/GREAT way. Great Job my man!

Really attempting to cover stairway of heaven is so common among guitarist, its a very well known joke that if you play it in a guitar store, you’ll be kicked out because of how often they hear it.

It's amazing how many people simply walk by and not pay attention! If I were there, I sit down on the ground, mesmerized, in awe. I was wondering if Cole could make the piano sing as loud as Robert Plant. As judged by the kid coverage his ears, Cole indeed made the piano scream.
Wow. You can really hear the subtle chords better on the piano. Also, I love the way he took the singer's inflections and interpreted it onto the piano.
I’ve listened to several of Cole’s compositions on the piano. Somehow with only 88 keys ( mostly less than 88), he can make anything he plays sound like an entire orchestra! Stairway to Heaven was the prom theme of the first prom I attended way back when. I ended up being lifetime friends with the guy that I went to the prom with but this song holds a special place in my heart that longs for simpler times.
So many that just walk past without stopping. We (western society) are all (myself included) just too scheduled and busy to appreciate truly beautiful things like the playing of this song live. How much LIFE is right under our noses that minute by minute we let just pass us by?. Beautiful.
I lived in Paris for awhile. There was one accordion player that I really loved hearing, but I rarely, if ever, had time to stand and watch for more than the time it took to throw a few francs into his plate. Then I had to get on to work. In order to watch him for just 5 minutes, I would have had to leave earlier - and he wasn't there every day. So, sometimes you just have to enjoy the riches you find along the way, and be glad that *today* he was there for you. And in case you're thinking I could have just taken the next metro: I was headed for my job at Orly Airport via the connecting train. I can't remember anymore, but the train only ran once every 10 or 20 minutes, so I had a schedule I had to keep.
Oh Cole, this made me smile and cry at the same time. Stairway To Heaven is my anthem, I hear it every day, I've heard it thousands of times and I never get tired of it. A masterpiece, one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded and the most iconic guitar solo of all time. I could almost hear the unmistakable voice of Robert Plant…I wish Jimmy Page could hear that. This song brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me of a time when all my friends were so happy. A few have passed but the rest of us that remain have an breakable bond and this particular song revitalizes a time when life was so innocent and how beautiful life was when we had youth on our side. Life is good, absorb every minute of it.

This is one of the most played songs by cover bands, and people messing around on guitar. I learned this song very early when I started playing guitar.
He could probably get away with playing this in a music shop lol. That is an achievement.
Zep cover bands are a dime a dozen and most of them suck.
Really attempting to cover stairway of heaven is so common among guitarist, its a very well known joke that if you play it in a guitar store, you’ll be kicked out because of how often they hear it.

It's amazing how many people simply walk by and not pay attention! If I were there, I sit down on the ground, mesmerized, in awe. I was wondering if Cole could make the piano sing as loud as Robert Plant. As judged by the kid coverage his ears, Cole indeed made the piano scream.
Wow. You can really hear the subtle chords better on the piano. Also, I love the way he took the singer's inflections and interpreted it onto the piano.

I’ve listened to several of Cole’s compositions on the piano. Somehow with only 88 keys ( mostly less than 88), he can make anything he plays sound like an entire orchestra! Stairway to Heaven was the prom theme of the first prom I attended way back when. I ended up being lifetime friends with the guy that I went to the prom with but this song holds a special place in my heart that longs for simpler times.
So many that just walk past without stopping. We (western society) are all (myself included) just too scheduled and busy to appreciate truly beautiful things like the playing of this song live. How much LIFE is right under our noses that minute by minute we let just pass us by?.

I lived in Paris for awhile. There was one accordion player that I really loved hearing, but I rarely, if ever, had time to stand and watch for more than the time it took to throw a few francs into his plate. Then I had to get on to work. In order to watch him for just 5 minutes, I would have had to leave earlier - and he wasn't there every day. So, sometimes you just have to enjoy the riches you find along the way, and be glad that *today* he was there for you. And in case you're thinking I could have just taken the next metro: I was headed for my job at Orly Airport via the connecting train. I can't remember anymore, but the train only ran once every 10 or 20 minutes, so I had a schedule I had to keep.

A masterpiece, one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded and the most iconic guitar solo of all time. I could almost hear the unmistakable voice of Robert Plant…I wish Jimmy Page could hear that. The thing that blows me away videos like this is the best amount of people don’t even notice or knowledge that this incredible thing is happening, and just walked past which means that they pretty much miss out on everything else valuable in life

This song brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me of a time when all my friends were so happy. A few have passed but the rest of us that remain have an breakable bond and this particular song revitalizes a time when life was so innocent and how beautiful life was when we had youth on our side. Life is good, absorb every minute of it.

If I were there I probably would have shouted out BRAVO BRAVO! You should get yourself an agent and have agent book you for the performing arts in front of hundreds of people to listen to how you play your piano so so eloquently. Thank you for being on UA-cam. I loved music passionately as 15-year-olds do when the original came out and thought it was akin to finding gold/religious experience. I've heard many covers of it over the decades but never one like this. it must be so cool to create music thru your fingertips
