Watching this had brought back so many memories of being a kid and my parents taking me and my brothers here every school holiday, this we before they add all the cabins, when everyone was using tents and caravans had my best carp (at the time of 12lb at 9 years old) out of two pole lake. Best part has got to be the part where your Mrs catches the biggest, my mum use to do thst all the time come down In the evening and have the biggest of the day.

Nice hols big man looks a cracking place few fish on the bank and the big ones made made the session worth while I should be out now but low oxygen levels have shut my venue gutted so it's caravan park lake tomoz 🎣👊💯
Fished from that exact cabin in may this year had a cracking 4 night session and got into some of the lakes larger residents shame the swims are so close together
The biggest I had was a 33lb common . The fish started spawning whilst we were there up in the top corner of the lake I sat there watching them . There was plenty of high 20s and 30s

@ChunksterFishing I bet it used to be an old match lake, that's why pegs r so close, company bought the land, chucked some caravans on, and put carp in the lake to attract us/family's 😁
Yeah no getting around they are quite tight together on the cabin lake...however there were some cabins on the top pole lake that were more generously spaced

Grinds my gears these places with tight swims, they should have markers out to separate the swims, everyone knows where their boundaries are then.
