Also I think a panel should be constructed to sort out the use of barbed and barbless hooks. Why should I buy and carry both just because a decision can’t be made. People that say bait boats are cheating are usually the ones that can't cast, that's why it seems like cheating to them. Carp fishing is as easy or as hard as you personally want to make it for yourself. It's like saying because I fish on a 100 acre pit with 20 carp in and you fish on B2 that's cheating. Or saying because you're using a leading rod today and I'm not, that's cheating. Or you use a spomb for baiting up and I'm using a catapult so you're cheating. Unless you're in a competition the only person you're cheating is yourself, so it all depends on how hard you want to make it for yourself. Ps, yes I do have a bait boat and yes I am good at casting distance accurately, I've only used my boat once because I actually find it easier to cast. Using a bait boat properly and accurately is a skill in itself.

Great video big man, You could add, other anglers casting into your swim when they see you catching, Bream, The " You caught anything mate" at the top of their voice when you are fishing in the margins & anglers leaving rubbish in the swims.

Camo: Back in the 80's we used to buy from ex-army shops/market stalls, the clothing was was warmer and much better quality without carp tax. Bait boats, they serve a purpose, but not on day ticket/club waters, Catch app: dont use it, wont use it, Keep it ole skool, stop worrying about the latest trend/fashion, you there to catch fish, NOT parading your £1000 bivvy, £500 rods matched with £1000 pair of reels, sitting on a £200 pod with £500 alarms, Whilst the bloke in the peg {yes Peg not swim} rocks up with a £50 rod, £40, reel, sticks in the ground with some old fox alarms and catches more out the margins whilst fandango is casting to the horizon and spodding 10kilo of bait out, All this on a day only water, Love your rant big fella, you'll soon be sounding like an ole skool carper/specimen hunter :)

Casting a 4-5 oz lead out to a spot where you've Seen fish is in my opinion dangerous to the fish. Can you imagine the damage to the fish if you managed to hit it !!!!!!! That's why bait boats are a great idea in my opinion. BTW I'm no longer a carp angler. Too many guys out there with all the gear & no idea 🙄

I was out fishing on a day ticket commercial lake and some guy was using a bait boat to drop a method feeder !!!! The islands only 2 rod lenghts out! I use method feeders most of the time on alarms (slightly guilty of reeling on them😮 but no bait boat 🎉 Also has a guy walk to a swim next to me because i was catching and cast over my lines and blame it on me and i had to un tangle it 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
