If you notice, Anaak starts the fight as a spearbearer, as two of their official spear bearers are not present (Rak and Paracule). This shows how each person is also kinda expected to learn another position in case of need. So we now know Anaak is both Spearbearer and Fisherman. We also had the traitor Apple mention she is both Scout and Lightbearer.
Similar to how Bam was shown to control lighthouses a bit in Hand of Arlene (the cave where he meets with Khun) and doing the body strenghtening of Fishermen.
Meaning this is about the point in the story where regulars start learning other positions and battle strategies open up.
Now, Khun said he chose lightbearer position because he likes giving orders. But many times we learn that he is actually a crazy strong fighter himself, yet he never showed us using shinsu as anything other than controlling lighthouses and just fights using his natural strong body. What other position could he be hiding at this moment, hmmm 😆
A bit spoilery on the positions:
We know quite a bit about *Wave Controllers* thanks to Bam's fighting, for them the amount of baangs mostly decide everything, as they are shinsu specialists, the tend to be main damage and just strongest, but also rarest (Quaetro and Laure are the only other notable lightbearer regulars we know now).
Anaak, Ran and Endorsi also show us the *fisherman* fighting style, just destroy everyone and they have crazy defenses. They are close to medium range fighters.
We know a lot about *lightbearers* who process all information and manage field control. Notable ones now being Khun, Xia Xia, Rachel, Prince and Goseng. So far we see Khun and Xia Xia as the best lightbearers. Top lightbearer is a total beast and control tower. Remember how at the start of a season Yuri went to visit another princess to ask her to find Baam and she had hundreds of lighthouses.
With our *Scout* being Miseng... Hopefully the anime will show properly our Shibisu and what are scouts capable of soon, properly using observers etc. There are supporting scouts like Shibisu who focus on processing intel and plans with lightbearer and fighting scuts like Hatz who assists fisherman when needed.
Now *spearbearers* ... At the start we see them learning to just throw spear properly, now we see Anaak busting a building. Top rank spearbearers are super scary tho, imagine a non-detectable non-guardable projectile shooting at you from a person that is so far away you don't even know about them. Being a low-level spearbearer is quite easy, you just need some power, shinsu control and proper aim. But top class is super scary.
Outside of those, from special positions we were introduced to two of them. Special positions you cannot simply learn, you need to be born with the ability.
We know of *Guides* , who are just two special races in the story. (red witches and gray dwarves)
Then we know there are *Anima* . People know can control sea creatures. In this episode we see Verdi and before our lovely blond test administrator, Hansung.

Khun actually fought chang blarode(one of the 5 strongest regulars in rank F)and probadly won against chang,but khun rarely fights and only uses his mind so he is not ranked in the top 5 regulars,according in the rules.Through this we can see that he can definitely be in the top 5 regularly and is also among the strongest in the F rank

really sad that they cut out the part where Bam calls Endorsi a tank and tells traveler to throw all the anti tank bombs because a tank is moving at them right now😂
The Endorsi and Bam conversation becomes funny when you remember Khun is watching from up above like some jealous girlfriend.
Ran and Anaak, despite not being a pairing most would think of on the top of their heads, really work well together. Anaak is more physically strong and tends to brute force her way through problems (such as blowing up Ran's clouds with shinsu or using her strength to get behind him), whereas Ran tends to think more tactically and uses more diverse abilities.
I took Cassano's line about being jealous of Hatz being more about him lamenting his existence as a weapon. Hatz can always improve his strength, and thus pass that strength onto any weapon he uses. Meanwhile Cassano is stuck simply as himself, unable to grow on his own since he's a weapon.

The fight scenes between Cassano and Hatz is so bad yet weirdly hyped that I burst into laughter the first time watching it so im glad to see Caw also squeezing at that moment while almost ppl would watch it with a blank face 🤣 Besides all the bad fighting scenes the story is getting pretty interesting, so hopefully we could get to their better adaptation episodes soon 🗿
