Y'all are probably the first reaction I've watched of like 20+ who actually bothered to look up who Ken Takakura is. I'm still on a quest for someone to realize that the line "I'm an awkward fellow, after all" was referenced at the beginning of the episode by Momo's friends as one of the actor's famous lines.
The anime did a bad job showing that the phrase came from Ken Takakura (the actor), in the manga they even show Ken's (the actors) face to show comparisons of his face & Momo's ex. The manga makes it clear, so I don't blame people for missing it.
