Great content, well researched, and another example of how innovative and forward-thinking the ABs still are, even if the world has caught up to them on the field....however, they are building rather well towards 2027 RWC
Great video bro. I watched the whole thing. Very meticulously made and super entertaining. I like the amount of detail you went into and the amount of knowledges packed in to what felt like a short video! If I had any tips I would say to snip some of the off cuts when you are repeating yourself. That way the video can flow abit better. Nothing that impacted the video negatively though bro. Just a quick tip if you’re looking to improve. Keep it up, Cheers! 🤙🏻
Hi this is a great video and it must have taken a long time to research and a great insight into the business side of top level rugby well done thanks John 👍
Great video mate! If the All blacks want to continue to grow as a business they need to innovate more for sure. A lot more potential there, and its weird to say about a team whos been as dominant as the All blacks, but they're really a sleeping giant (in the business world).
Fanatics clothing quality is rubbish… also the amounts those companies pay the AB’s to be on their jumper/shorts seems like a very cheap deal for the companies and the AB’s seem to be undercharging for the exposure they give these brands
Yes this is why we are the best in the world,we won the first world cup & it's on lone to others - we need to for ever keep A/B to NZ - the success is hard dedicated work of the kiwi mentality as a small nation with little resources we can take on the world in any sport & win American cup - car racing - the achievement of Paris Olympics - main media called it the NZ games - be proud of ourselves & stop the knocking - the rest are jealous that's how we do it we are winners - not gang bangers as potraid - keep your head up & get the kids through the sports that great kiwis who give their time for free are our heros - Mark
Just to add to original comment - the Haka we all grew up with is based on equal ty - that's one reason kiwis are everywhere around the rugby world as players & coaches it's not always for money it's also to strengthen the game - for we have an unwritten code of fairness from Maori protocol - as not being bragest, but get the job done , to win so if the all Black's are not treated fairly it shows in disgrace of weakness of org of the game get rid of pathetic rules & give the game back to the players - Peter, Blair especially Grant of A/Cup understand this by changing the face for ever of the A,/Cup by introducing protocol of fairness for all competitors they are ambassadors of international sport Grant is a kumatu a of Great Standing with the whole team NZ - keep the kids out in sport to show their potential - for their energies to help divert from the Gang's - it's about time that we have being pushing for years a sports institute by Govt instead of building jail's to help sports body's financial support athletes better - we live in the most beautiful - clean - Rich - water ,- food safest country in the World let's keep it that way - you don't have to be a ,,$😮billionaire everyone is who calls NZ home Mark
As a dumb American, I'm amazed we decided on US Football over Rugby - I'm new to it and it's so much more captivating and interesting to watch. American football is so much slower and the padding innovations have encouraged people to aim to destroy each other rather than just outwrestle and endure each other
Underpaid compared to who? The Players in the all blacks squad earn quite a lot compared to most other international rugby teams... Sure the super rugby club teams aren't earning as much as some other club competitions.
What you on about bro, thats basketball, where talking about rugby players, they still get good money compared to average people that work 9 to 5. Rugby players shouldnt complain, there getting decent money to do what they love, so theres no excuses to winge. @KanyeKetchup
Far from it. Add your NPC appearances, Super Rugby appearances, and test season together and the top players are easily earning more than a million a year.
Thats a speculative Silicon valley figure - its currently 1/12th of that and last year the posted a loss which means the $250 Million in post money *actual value* is going backwards. The maker of the video keeps deleting my comments which in itself is great entertainment. Comparing it to the SARU numbers and using comparable exhange rates and buying power SARU also posted a loss but on way less than the NZ Commerical Rugby entity and SARU would actually end up straying in business longer but hey let him brag. But old Champagne Rugby here keeps deleting these facts. Great entertainment. Its a bit like that joke where Silicon Valley opened up a bar and only one person purchased a drink and it was deemed a huge success.
Its refreshing to see that you don't censor people's opinions after you present the financial facts. Can you show us the numbers with expenses and profits and also use the Big Mac Index to show the buying power of both countries which includes ticket prices and the fact the 90% of South Africans don't have access to sport. Be brave now and don't press the delete key and back up these claims with real facts.
First of all the ABs are not a global financial powerhouse. Man Utd and other sporting teams are getting 60 - 100 million dollars for Jersey sponsorship per year. Also If they were there would be money for the domestic game back in NZ, which is struggling mightly. Secondly the success of a national team is not judged by the population of a country but rather the amount of registered rugby players and access to the countries top sporting talent. The game is the national sport of NZ. Not many other tier one nations come close to that. The all blacks are the biggest brand in rugby, which is a long way off the global financial powerhouses of the sporting world.
Not for long. The NRL is eating away at its player base. This All Black empire is weakening, the trickle of juniors switching codes has now become a stream. Their talent comes from the Pacific..which is now Rugby League territory. With an NZ2 RL team coming that stream will become a flood of juniors (and fans) switching over. Thus destroying Rugby Unions stranglehold on NZ
What a load of rubbish. The League playerbase has barely changed here in NZ, whereas Union's has increased. League has also started to fall to Aussie Rules in Australia. You really need to stop blindly following the NRL PR machine, and instead look at some facts.
😂 I'll give nzrl nrl or whatever its dues in its aggressive pr campaign promoting the game in nz on every media platform invented 😳 but the fact of the matter is rugby luegue is and will always be the distant cousin in nz and on the world stage..nice try tho 😉

You won the 1st WC without the Springboks competing.

@Cruzader80 Steven Adams paid $100 mill U.S. 4 year contract
Yet he never plays foe his country

It doesn’t make sense?!
You have to give the mantle to South Africa these days. We’re on the back foot atm.
Very few Current Multi Millionaire All Blacks...NZRFU Grubs
GRUBS !!
Didn't want to pay to keep Ngani Laumape the best number 12
Ah so now I understand why the refs were always in their favour at 3 billion.
I'm guessing you're Sth African picking out that comment, funny how the saying no one remembers who came second doesn't apply to the All Blacks

“Mori”
I wonder if players get paid more than the board or is it the other way around. To me it feels like a crime for All Blacks to be underpaid.

Billion Dollar industry, for who? Certainly not the NZRU or ABs.
Just one tip maori is pronounced like moldy the way you say it is offensive llol
Huh wheres the saffas 😂😂😂😂

hack-a
Still players don’t get paid well enough Abs just use the coconuts and not pay them well 🤦
rugby is on the wane here in N.Z. soccer is on the rise, no one is scared of the A.Bs anymore, their reputation is no longer one of unstoppable.
Why are you stuttering over your script?
I dunno but could be AI
Queque bok tears 🤣
Your team worth rand lol
Great content but you might want to invest in an AI voiceover as your frankly unprofessional reading detracts from the otherwise excellent quality.
NZRFU grubs
Dont want pay to keep top players ,now that decision gonna bite them. Record loosing streaks 😂
Ngani Laumape is the best number 12 !
Ma’a nonu
*losing
south africa are laughing at these jokes lol
