Can we build a ONE-OFF Liberty Walk RX7 in just 24 HOURS?

- The plan was simple. Liberty Walk would send us a Mazda RX7 FD widebody bodykit and we would fit it in one week before our truck left for Finland and Drift Masters Round 3. Kato and Toshi are flying from Japan to reveal the finished car, so we can't fail! This is probably one of the most difficult bodykits to fit in the world, and we have limited tools or experience, but we love a challenge!

I think it looks great with the lights, I always thought the kit looked a bit strange without them, TBA.
Yeah, the original kit the LB one got inspiration from (Porsche 911 slantnose) looked ok with the headlights gone, but the RX7 needs them.
Yellow tint like some race cars?
Looks way more period correct old school motorsport. They needed lights at LeMans

It's probably my least favorite liberty walk kit, but you're doing a good job. I'd say keep the lights to be different. I'll be interested to see the finished product.

Holy hell 😮 the RX7 my good god 🤤 will ye please cover this over during transport, the other day Ryusei's S15 appeared on a trailer in front of me and so star struck was I my tiny little mind froze solid and I may have blocked the road up, I don't wanna test poor Wayne's patience a second time 🤣🤣 I heard ye making this, ye drove the PS13 aswell, I was watching telly and the end wall of my house shook 😂😂 cannot wait to see the RX7 well done lads
Keep the lights , too flat and slabby without . And it's good to be different 😜
Dunno if I missed it in the video, but if they are gonna go with blanks why not just keep the pop ups, they act as blanks when off anyways

If it was mine for a streetcar, I would prefer that kit that came with the car it already looked great but for your purpose, the liberty walk kit works.
It doesn’t look like a Porsche at all. I don’t know why everyone is comparing it lol I know that liberty walk makes a kit for the Porsche that looks similar

definitely keep the lights! car would be unique and have that drift games flair on an already hugely known libertywalk+driftgames partnership. also maybe a screen for the rear arch gap to hide a bit of the fender work around the wheels. never give up!!
It’s not like bad. But I love the original rx7 so much. I think the gFace or even RB kit looks superb because it lets the best curves of her still show after being kitted.
FDs have a long and strange history of ugly Porsche look a like kits.

It's just just incredible and admirable that 8 weeks ago drift games lost everything and had nothing to already after hosting a DMEC event,turned the office to an almost completely different building while also building an incredible sick LW RX7 like just incredible!! You guys are absolutely built different and it's an absolute great example for others to never give up and to work your ass off to get what you want and where you want to be! That phrase "Comparison is the thief of joy" fits here if you ask me. Compared to prettier kits it's garish. However, it's gangster and different and wild and engaging and that is exactly what it needs to be.
Okay, I am a simple man of simple needs - RX7 is a must click. And you didn't fail to disappoint, beautiful rotary engine and turbo flutter goodness from the beginning.

Should reach out to Darren McNamara as to what the rubber things he uses on the AE86 for Sultan? The RX7 was looking a little high at the front and would save hopefully scrapping the front bumper.

If you're going to wrap the car I would just primer it because the paint won't have enough time to off gas.

The kit looks crazy!!! I am looking at a wide body kit for my car and it is a hard decision since I haven't seen one in person yet. Once the RX7 has paint and livery it will be a completely different beast! Cannot wait to see it

Gonna be honest, it’s not an attractive kit on what was a very pretty car - I admire what it’s trying to achieve as an homage to a legendary race car, but no, it’s not for me.
I'm very much of the same feeling. Love the RX7 as-is, or maybe an Amemiya kit while keeping the pop up headlights - not that I hate the smooth racing lights for the Amemiya cars, I just dig pop up headlights.

@@razorsitch9882 This part. We were asked for feedback, and some of us are not fans of this particular kit. We're not saying change it, just expressing our opinion, we both, I'm sure, understand perfectly well that it's their car, their choice.
The rear end ruins it for me, there’s too many lines going on and nothing flows together. The front end is great but the rear is just a mess.
The Rx 7 looked wicked can't wait untill it's done to see it 🏎️🏎️keep up the good work

I've received my shirt already, the quality is much better than expected. the only thing I do not understand is that it took so much time from Ireland to Spain and the shipment was so damn expensive! the shirts for the quality are almost cheap, but the shipment is so expensive!

I love the kit. You have to understand it in its own context. It's not just a Porsche clone. It's an OTT Speed Racer style work of pop art. It's supposed to be mad. If you apply the same thinking to it as you would to an average modified road or drift car, you're missing the point. Think of it more like something from a 1970s anime or French comic book. Also, I think keeping the lights will only add to it for that reason. Like a Le Mans car.
