Dear Carla, you are very welcome! At least this time I put some music again. :) And I love the topographical one too. It is simply so organic and it flows....❤❤❤
@@quiltingnerd It went well! Your tip about remembering to fill in the gaps was helpful too. I'm working on a panel for a small bag. I need to be more consistent with my speed but that's ok.
@@sheilaghbolt3601 What I hear is that you made a huge progress and got to another quilting level!!!! Wonderful. I am very greatful for your feedback! ❤❤❤
Thank you! I’m a little intimidated by FMQ but I can’t afford to hire a long arm quilter. I just have to practice before each project! Also trying to figure out a design is sometimes intimidating also!
@carlaatikins2619 Carl is right. FMQ takes a bit time and love but one can quilt on a domestic machine just for fun. I also could never afford a long arm and when I started there were no long arm quilters in Drseden. So I started to learn. It took some time and it helped that I did not know that some things are considered difficult. It is a wonderful passion. I will keep my fingers crossed! .❤❤❤
Dear Sylvia, I just had a discussion about that during my last quilt class. One of my quilting ladies did not want to quilt backwards because she could not see. However, with a bit of practice you gain some sixth sense awerness where you are. With time you don't have to see everything. You simply know where you are. But you have to try it from time to time ❤❤❤
Hi there, Drawing a pattern is always a good idea. It helps to understand the pattern and simple doodling is healthy for us. So, I see only benefits 😀❤❤❤
Hi there. I do not have like a dial. I can move my controller between slow, medium and fast. Most of the time I am in the middle. I operate by sound. ❤❤❤
👍❤️ спасибо!

Definitely will be using these techniques in the future. Thank you for the inspiration.
Always with pleasure! These are really nice and relaxing :) ❤❤❤
Thank you for taking the time to educate us. I love your videos!
Thank you most kindly for your feedback! .❤❤❤
I really like that last one. And the one that didn’t film. That looks a little complicated. Cant wait to see how its done!
I will work on the video soon. They are a little more complicated but they consist of repetetive movements. Thank you for your comment! ❤❤❤
I have a quilt in mind that I will use your technique on it. Thanks so much for sharing. I just love the designs.
Perfect! I just love to provide an inspiration in the right moment! ❤❤❤
I call this "scribbling with thread".Thank you for validating what I like to do.
You are very welcome! And you know whta! I do the same. Sure, I love traditional patterns but sometimes I just like to move and create shapes ❤❤❤
I loved all 3 patterns; the topographical is WOW WOWIE WOW (local slang for amazing). Thanks again for very practical teaching.

Now I have a 3rd way to quilt topography on my quilts.
Topography texture is so great! Modern quilting in negative space.... also baby quilts, pillows... I love it too ❤❤❤
That would look quite impressive on a little quilt I have in mind. Would it make sense to draw lines first to hecome more confident with the pattern?

@@quiltingnerd , thank you.
What speed do you have on your machine for this pattern?

@@quiltingnerd thank you. I have a Janome and I think you do too. Your quilting is amazing.
