❤ Wow! You seriously do absolutely beautify works! I do like that you are going a bit slow, it’s easy on the eyes and helps to follow your actual design! ❤ Thank You 😊
Thank you most kindly. I am filming at my actualy quilting speed. For me quilting is a therapy, and an act of rebelion against stress and hectic. It should be slow. It is a process, where we can put some love and thought into a project. It keeps me sane ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for your comment! and please do not say such things about your abilities. Talent grows when you practice. Do not compare to me or others, only to your own work from days before. If you see progress, then you know you are doing it right! Keeping my fingers crossed! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for a year of beautiful quilting techniques and joy in my life. You are a light in my world. MERRY CHRISTMAS and BLESSINGS for the NEW YEAR. 🎶💐💖🫂
Dear Carla, this is a great responsibility. I hope I can provide inspiration and some meditative, relaxing content. Thank you for all your feedback! Merry Christmas ❤️❤️❤️
I got a new machine and I might try ruler quilting on it. I've tried ruler quilting on a longarm, but I didn't enjoy it. I will use this video for inspiration.
Gosh, many, many years ago I attempted a Hunter's Star because I love secondary patterns and this one is always striking but I failed miserably; I believe it was in my piecing-by-hand years before I conquered my fear of using a machine. I I never tried again and I also dislike templates, but I love yours so I may try it again soon if I can find the pattern. Quilters Cache has it with templates as well as paper piecing but I really don't want to do either of those. Gold thread has always been my favorite color to use for free motion because it goes with so many colors and looks great. God bless, my quilting friend! ~Cynthia
There is a simple way for those. It involves 10 inch squares, cutting on the diagonal, and then cutting 2 inch stripe from the base of the half trinagle. then you cut 2 inch from the side to create the diamonds. There are few videos sshowing it. The only disadvanatge is bias. It was fun. Now that the preparation for Christmas fesitivities are done, I can catch some creative breath. Best wishes from Dresden! ❤️❤️❤️
That is awesome! Thanks, Gosia. I'll look into the videos and also see if I can find written instructions as well. I'm quilting today, finished the 24" center medallion quilting, but it wears me out and I have to take breaks and do just a bit every day I feel like it. I think coughing at night just wears me out even if I actually sleep well part of it. I'll get better, just takes time, doing all the things to recover. God bless!
Oh my gosh. Merry Christmas to you and yours. When do you have time to piece these. I just finished piecing the strips and squares to do. Love your inspiration. I also love this block and can’t wait to try it.
Sometimes I do not know how I find time. Somehow in between the mements.... But I am happy I do. I love quilting and I always get something back from it. A relaxing moment, a new project, an insight. I am happy I learned how to sew this block and tried one way of quilting it. Now, I am ready for a large quilt 😊❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty. Where were you many years ago when I had to quilt a queen size one of these? I can't remember what I ended up with but I do remember struggling to make the decision. Merry Christmas
As I started quilting about eight sears ago, I was probably learning 😂.Now I am here and I will try to provide inspiration for your future projects . Thank you for your feedback ❤️❤️❤️
Hi there! When I started to learn how to quilt, videos by Angela Walter, Chistina Camelli, or Leah Day were my only quilting classes. So yes, their influence is definitely there. And if something works why change it 😉😊. They are great quilters. And to answer your question, no I do not use a stich regulator. I could get one for my machine, but the constant change in the speed of my machine would drive my insane. I like the nice and steady hum. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Hunter’s Star! I love watching you quilt! 🎉
Thank you most kindly. I am almost done with this project. Maybe it will be on the wall before New Year 😉.
Beautiful, as all your designs are. Thank you for the inspiration!
@@kathrynsvendsen8319 thank you for your kind words ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you!. It felt right doing it and I am very happy how it turns out. ❤️❤️❤️

There are online tutorials on how to cut 10 inch squares. No templates needed. And thank you for your feedback ❤️❤️❤️
Watching you, DEFINATELY relaxes us! Love your choice of music too! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

So very beautiful! One of my favorite quilt blocks! You are amazing!💕🌲🧵
I was always mesmeriszed by it. One block and the wonderful secondary pattern. Now that I know I can sew it, I can work on a larger quilt. 😉❤️❤️❤️

Very nice. I see that you use a lot of Angela Walters' designs. I learned a lot from her as well. Do you have a stitch regulator on your machine?

@quiltingnerd you definitely have a gift for quilting without a longarm!
@simplyquiltingwithnancysanders 😂 because I don't have one I learned to use what I do have. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Stunning block and quilting! Merry Christmas!
I wanted to try it for a long time now. I love it! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
May I ask what machine you use?
I have a Janome M7. It has a very nice size so I can also quilt with it. ❤️❤️❤️
