Hey, I think Amazon tried creating a similar drone idea earlier for delivering products, but it never took off due to ethical conflicts. You might want to check up with that.
Hey Kid Congrats! I think it was in one of your earlier videos that you mentioned some goals. Ph.D. was one, and being part of a start-up or something!
Hi KJ thank you for sharing your updates on Deuce Drone... I am an investor. I found out about you reading your Deuce Drone bio on NetCapital. This will be disruptive. I wish you success in this new venture. I can't wait for your market disruption. Please take care of yourself in these market conditions due to the coronavirus. I will be following your journey with Deuce Drone from now on. Peace.
I see you deactivated Facebook and Instagram. GREAT JOB, it can be really distracting and sometimes unmotivating at times, because you start to compare yourself to different people. I recently added you on LinkedIn and left you a personable note with my invite. Would love to connect? Also, NO I am not selling a product, I don't want you to be part of my startup, and I'm not interested in asking you if you want to be an entrepreneur on the side haha. I just want to connect, because I too am very passionate about Aerospace and aero engineering as a recent graduate I see myself living a similar life you did if I were to redo college (and get a perfect SAT score). I'd love to connect!
Bro You are my inspiration. Being from a poor country few times i was discouraged to follow my dreams(i.e of aero/astro engineering) but the guys like you have motivated me a lot. Right now I'm in grade ten. What sorts of this should I do/follow to be like you and also get in dream universities like mit/stanford etc etc?? I hope you'll show me some directions.
When I read the first sentence, I felt like "woah, finally an Indian who CHOOSES to be an engineer, not because he was told to or expected to be" then I read the rest, and realized you are probably some kid who is chasing after a "salary package" and you have NO idea where to start, why ? Your heart is not in the right place. If you ask such questions already, you are either too early to decide or you may not be capable of going through something like this. This is why 80% of Indian engineers are unemployable, they don't go out of their way to improve themselves than just do the bare minimum. Allow me to explain why, You guys esp Indian kids these days.....They waste time asking someone to show them the path, or do things for them than make and effort to find out. Your goal is to go to MIT or Stanford because you want the reputation, not the course or the benefit of attending such places. If you really wanted that, You would have been looking at their website and checking the Prospective students and Admissions requirements sections. Furthermore, you would have looked into each individual courses and checked the pre-requisites. Let me ask you, why bother ? You clearly made no effort to find out and you wanted someone to feed you the basic information you could have easily found out through a simple google search or on their websites. Do you think, a person like you can solve the problems or come up with solutions we need ? short answer, No. I have seen individuals like you bragging and only failing. That is just unfortunate. You want out of it? Think more, do more and try to go through the most challenging or intimidating path you could find. My advice, get your calculus and Physics courses as a pre-requisite. Who knows, maybe when you are older you will have a better perspective, so why not explore things. In the end, it is your prerogative to choose what you want....
m Matt thanks for the comment. this is the kind of comment that I was searching for to relate basic indian dudes. In almost every videos related to top tier universities, I see comments like “how to get into Mit or Stanford” all the time from Indians. It’s as if they just want a magic pill that’ll get them into those colleges rather than focusing on becoming a better student who can survive at colleges like mit. I can tell from my experience at Georgia Tech that getting into Georgia Tech is way easier than graduating from it
Tawsif Habib just to let you know, I hope my criticism doesn’t enable anyone here to start a race debate. I am of South Indian ancestry, but I’ve been in Dubai all my life. I’ve dropped out from an Indian high school at a young age because I couldn’t fit in. I never connected with Indians much since then, for some reason I ended up being able to reason better than the Indian kids who were getting 100% on their tests and academic excellence awards. Me, I fucking barely touch my books anymore because it’s not stimulating much for me, was able to reason better than the “Honor students” could. I’ve been watching Vlogs from students who went to Columbia, MIT, Cornell to understand the course load and timing. I am trying to enter engineering and sciences because I want to build stuff on my own or optimize my ideas in a pragmatic manner. Every fucking day, I get questions on Quora from Indians, Bengalis or Pakistanis “How can I live with this amount salary in Dubai with a family of this number, I am IT engineer/Financial Analyst/Etc.” Mostly Indians, but I do get Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too. I ended up deleting my Quora because of it. There is a huge amount of “Coaching classes/centers” in India, who take money from students to write a simple college essay or compile their applications. Guess where they are applying to? State colleges in USA... imagine being this pathetic. Most of the Indian students I knew from my old school, tried their best to get into PARTY SCHOOLS and the UCLAs. Simply because they have no drive, just wanted to attend a fun university, considering these were upper middle class income families. I don’t understand why idiots want a “MIT” degree to get married. Americans have no clue on why there are many Indians, in the USA studying.... they are building their marriage application.
