my dad sold it, to invest the money into a new sailing yacht and a start up.. i really didn't want him to sell it but unfortunately he did haha

The reason the building only have the facade is because they are keeping it for historical reasons. Owners can rebuild but they have to keep the facade because of spanish laws. To keep it pretty :)

Probably one of my fav vlogs in a long time Jon. Loved that you were in a different environment - love the "real" interaction between all of you - Janni and her dad, Benji is a great addition (super attractive) and really seeing your natural selves - all good. really enjoyed the past few vlogs away from Marbella and Monaco. Jon you guys should go to Trier, Germany. It is the oldest city in Germany. It was built by the Romans over 2000 years ago. Still many ruins, Roman Baths, Coliseum, etc. I highly recommend it!

You are correct in the thoughts of rebuilding old industrial ships and re purpose them for a second life only more modern with lots of updates. I was in the Sea Scouts we had a very old ship that was built in Texas by the Army. It was 165' long had a huge boom and winch that we would swing out over the water and jump off of. It's first life was a rescue ship for plucking the T-37 trainers out of the Gulf of Mexico for the US ARMY AIR CORPS WW-II. Then it's second life was our Sea Scout Ship we purchased it from the Navy as it was in the Moth ball fleet. The old gal was not fast but very stout and sea worthy with all the mass of wood and brass. My command was the engine's room which I really enjoyed my post watching over all the equipment and listening to the motors roaring while keeping a log and following orders from the bridge via bells and lights mostly. Truly a great experience for a young man. Thank you Uncle Sam!

They preserve the front old walls and build an all new interior structure and join the old wall to the new structure and all new interior, they do that to preserve the old style of the city/village buildings. Is looks great, and it way more secure inside.
