I have owned two on different bikes, I like the look when I'm not two up, I'm 5' 11" 220lbs it's about a 50 mile at a time seat, more than that an you get very sore, I have riden on it 250 miles and I was hurting, as long as it an easy ride and you stop every 50 miles for a break is fine. I have a touring seat and a stock HD Street glide, depends on what kinda riding I'm doing I interchange.
I don’t understand why these seat information/review artists don’t show us the depth of cushioning. All ya have to do is zoom in with the camera and press down on the seat with your palm. What’s so difficult about that! Sheesh!
It depends what model you have, but generally yes, this seat sits lower than stock. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/danny-gray-buttcrack-solo-seat-for-harley
Hi Lemmy, i dont know if you have tried them, but whats opinion or recommend me between the lepera barebones or DG buttcrack in comfort for softail slim.
+Hensen Benn Oh, that's pretty subjective, as everyone's slightly different "anatomically-speaking". With the Danny Gray, people either love it or hate it. The Bare Bones is pretty bare, so I wouldn't recommend it for long distances. -DrewZilla
Thanks Lenny. I know both are not the best for long distances, thats why im in between those two. I want to keep the bikes look minimum bare look, but with some comfort level. But thanks again, as always.
It seems to me that Lemmy says the same thing about all these seats. Really the only thing that works for me is the Airhawk air cushion. Buy one and you will not have to change the seat on your motorcycle. You can use the Airhawk on any bike seat so when you change your bike just put the Airhawk cushion onto your new bike's seat and keep riding. You will save a lot of money doing this.
I wish you guys would try the product in these demos, show what it looks like sitting in it, give reviews of how it feels. Thanks for review.
install should be easy if it fit right and came with right brackets
I got a new seat solo Danny Gray it doesnt fit and doesnt have front metal bar to slide in my Harley wasted money for sure, not happy at all...😢

I wonder if I can install this on a honda shadow phantom 🤔

Does this sit any shorter than the factory seat? I'm short but also want a somewhat comfortable seat.

You will sit a lot lower into the bike probably around 2inches.
