hey, if you want them to push dat button you can always stick a big mek with your melee meganobz to give them the keyword for dread mob! You still get to push the button in melee
@@henryp2112 YEAH! That's the plan. One tanky squad with a Big Mek to hold an objective and be an absolute pain to remove. My heart wants to give them guns just so I can pew pew pew but my brain-squig knows that's a waste. :P
Kustom Shootas with rr1s and either lethals or sustained 1 should be considerably better than vanilla. Still not great, likely, but enough for me to like to see the numbers on them.
meganobz are my next to paint, magnetized weapons to swap around if need be.

Just don't glue the arms in. You can easily swap them when you want.

Knowing points efficiency is cool and all, but how do you factor in scoring/scoring denial? Is the ability to sometimes reach out and wipe 4 prosecutors on an objective worth more than 40 points?

Just Humor me on this one because they dont have it but IF Kustom shootas were assault.. also led by a big mek with the re rolls.. would they be much better? Enough that you would consider that one squad.. Love your content!! ❤
Then I'd put just 1 kustom shoota on 1 Meganob in the unit so that the entire unit gets the Assault keyword and can advance and perform an action if needed.
@haroldh3 has the right thought, the dmg output is so awful, at that point you would take it for utility though! Cheers bud, i appreciate your supprt

Funny story: First game with Bully Boys included Ghaz and 5 Meganobz (PK) into a Landraider on the Waaagh! with reroll hit strat. My opponent rolled 16, 4+ saves! Then Ghaz did his Ghaz thing and rolled 4, 1s to wound, and my opponent saved 1 of his 5+ saves. Ghaz landed 2 hits... math says one thing reality says no.
lol i mean mathematical averages are simply averages, both extremes certainly can and will happen

When you looked at the Meganobz without Ghaz
are those numbers with a Warboss (+1 To Hit?)
also for the shooting is it with a Big Mek (re roll 1s)

cause you mentioned the +1 to hit and +1 to wound of Ghaz but not the +1 to hit of the Warboss
+1 to hit does not change the ratio of which load out is better. So It changes nothing in the conversation of which load out is better

Not to compare which is better but to see how much of Improvement is Ghaz.
but you showed the Jump Between No +1 to +1 To Hit AND +1 To Wound

and since we see a lot of lists without Ghaz atm I think its important for the decision of Do I take Ghaz in Bully or not
Ik the shooting is bad. But how does a Megamek in Dreadmob affect the wargear decision?
it effects it by making it maybe the second worst shooting unit in the game, instead of being the worst haha

Obviously double claw is pointless double saws is also almost pointless, saw and claw is kind of pointless, saw by itself is to swingy. If combi weapon is free and is better then the custom shooter why not take the combi?
