My husband calls you "awkward girl" and while it doesn't sound much like a compliment, it is. We love that you don't edit out the awkward bits like when you forget what something basic is called (a radiator) or when you ask yourself what you think about something (and maybe answer yourself, maybe not). It's all very endearing for a youtuber and the comments indicate that it's why most of us watch your channel. We like you (and your interiors style but that's secondary).

it is really easy to be called awkward by American people. For me it is just normal behaviour :D? I guess you as a nation are more well spoken and media oriented than average European or something :) Nothing bad in mind

Regarding duvet covers…I find flat sheets that I like and sew two together to make duvet covers. There’s a lot more variety of sheets than covers, I find.
Hi Paige, I’ve previously used a large plaid scarf as a runner on my bed, it’s a helluva lot cheaper than buying a blanket. You could even buy two in different colours, sew them together and put a backing on them, still cheaper than the hundreds that can be charged for them and I’m sure you’d do a great job 👍🏻

@@ely3377 Hello, in Germany it was really common to have on of these. I got mine in a second hand furniture store and reupholstered it. You can get them everywhere here in Germany cause nobody really wants them anymore but almost every grandma had one 😄

It's kinda interesting how you perceive art deco as more feminine when I thought it was the masculine one, vs. the feminine art nouveau

Both can be feminine compared to mid century design? Even though art deco is more masculine with its relatively intense colors and geometrical shapes and art nouveau more feminine with the botanical influences. I agree on that.

It is very common to install a shelf over a radiator. It helps spread the heat into the room.

Everyone makes the bedroom “simple” which often translates to “plain” and “boring”. Why? Because the bedroom is for sleeping? I love to chill in bed, eat in bed, and read in bed. My bedroom is just as decorated as my other rooms. I have mirrors, a comfy chair, plants, flowers, and my grandmother’s antique desk in my bedroom. It might be the most important room in the house.

I've used the "built-in" wall units you featured for years in many different applications. They are incredibly versatile. The brand I use (the one like the photo you inserted @ 19:48) is Rubbermaid and I get them at Home Depot but I'm sure every hardware store sells them.
Also, I loved the studio space photo. It reminded me of a hotel which I was going to point out is always great for inspiration, especially if you have a small space. Boutique hotels manage to get a few functions (bed, table + chair, seating) into a small room by using smaller scale pieces and getting creative with the layout while still making it feel like home. The NoMad hotel is my favorite for inspiration.

Paige, I’m pretty sure the second room you featured is not Chilled Wine but SW Peristyle Brass. Chilled Wine is much lighter. I could be wrong but I don’t think so. I just painted a room in Peristyle Brass after watching Lone Fox paint his master bedroom ceiling in it. Check it out and see.
The person that owns the room just commented that indeed is Chilled Wine.

Definitely in favor of the simple bedrooms without a ton of throw pillows. To me that looks so much more inviting and cozy plus you're not throwing a bunch of crap on the floor to actually use the bed.

Depends where you're based but eBay is good for Melin Tregwynt (Welsh) blankets. It's where I got mine and I still love it - pink on one side and yellow on the other. I'm UK-based.
I just DMed Paige to recommend Pendelton wool blankets. They don't have a ton of plaid ones, but the ones they have are really nice.
Look up Hudson Bay Blankets.
The green and brown blanket looks like the cotton Frödd throw from Ikea.

Black and red or yellow shoes: buy a black shoe with a stripe (Adidas Samba, Vans Old Skool, and get shoe paint and paint the stripes your desired color. Paint brand: Angelus (lots of paint colors and dyes for leather, synthetics, fabrics, suede). Works great!

19:28 the roman shade looks like the one from IKEA (Ringblomma). It's a lifesaver. I couldn't install anything in my rooftop apartment due to the way the windows were built in. This was the only shade that fit. And it looks great too. I think Liv from Able Shoppe has these in her master bedroom, too.
