Thanks a good selection and review. No.1 Alefjall is the only one with a memory foam cushion in the seat and you can really feel the difference when you try it in-store. I'd have bought the Alefjall if they did a high back version with headrest. I've got no.2 Matchspel the mesh high back and headrest are super comfortable it's seat cushion like most Ikea chairs isn't memory foam and gets uncomfortable after about two hours so I bought a cheap memory foam cushion £15 and it's much better, why don't they use memory foam and charge an extra 10% 🤦♂. A fully mesh chair is a good move however the Styrspel is so new we don't know how good the seat mesh is at retaining its shape. Also the Styrspel arms I don't know how you can rest your arms and type at the same time when they don't stay horizontal but move upwards when reclining - a shame.
Thanks for sharing, yeah too bad ikea aleffjall don't have a headrest, and if they make the back seat higher, it would have been perfect. I enjoyed Matchspel, but after 1-2 hour, i need to take a break. It's rare to see memory foam in ikea chair, maybe it's expensive? Or they don't use it, to keep the cost low ? I don't know.... Ikea Styrspel, about the armrest, yes i agree with you. I'm still puzzle by it. Looking at ikea mesh quality over the year, i believe it's gonna be okay in few year. (Maybe it will be worn out a little bit). It is new, and there's a lot of things we still don't know yet.
Disclaimer: This is based on my experience, you might be agree or disagree with me. Everybody have a different level of satisfaction and taste. Therefore i suggest you try it before you buy. Also if you are not sure or having a doubt, do more research by watching other channel or read articles on forum, etc. Because once again, it's hard to find a suitable chair. By the way, if you go to ikea store, try their new chair " Ikea Styrspel", highly recommended 👍.
if i had chance to buy these chairs ( flintan and örfjall ) what would prefer, in additon i'd like to sit on a chair which is most comfortable therefore i'll be glad. so, i need ur high recommend and appreciate for ur help too!!
Hmm there's definitely some pro & cons on both chair. If you don't like mesh, and wanted an upright position chair, easy to swivel, then i suggest ikea orfjall. (Some cons: you can't recline orfjall chair & no armrest) Flintan: when you can recline the chair, it's comfortable. Plus the armrest is optional, you can buy it later if you wanted it. I like Flintan & i will choose it. But again, it depends on your taste and preference. The choice is yours
Imho: just skip it, not recommended. It is just an expensive version of Renberget chair. It's not comfortable, feels hard, because there is no lumbar support, so it's not cozy for long session.
Hello! May I ask what would you choose? The Matchspel or the Flintan?

How about Millberget?
Imho: just skip it, not recommended.
