I am 60 years old and I have been a “Beatlemano” since I was 15 or 16. I had played some piano but it was 40 years ago. A few weeks ago they left me a keyboard and I decided to play something on the piano again and what better than something by my admired Beatles? Just a few words to thank you so much for this great, educational and practical video and for making it easy to play those legendary songs that we “Beatlemanos” hold dear to our hearts. Lisa, thank you very very very much!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Best regards from Barcelona (Spain) PD/ next song to learn, four years from now, when I’m sixty four 😄
These are all great songs. Let it Be and Hey Jude sound so beautiful on the piano. Obla-di sounds fun and cheerful. They all sound like modern-day masterpieces to me. Quoting Lisa: "The Beatles made the piano a pop star" --So true!
Let It Be is my all-time favorite of the Fab Four, and one of the many reasons I am finally going to learn how to play the piano. I will definitely be coming back to this session. Thank you for this!!
I was part of a ukulele group for awhile (about 15ish members of all skill levels). We did all three of these songs because of their simplicity. (and that our leader was a drummer in a Beatles cover band). :D
I love Let it Be, such beautiful chords. I saw Paul when he did his World tour in the early 2000s at Earls Court in London. I remember having tears in my eyes when he played this and also remember everyone singing along with Hey Jude. I am just about to start learning the piano aged 60. In fact I am actually waiting for my Donner SE-1 to be delivered today. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Loads of good tutorials on UA-cam and a friend of mine lives down the the road is classically trained and she has offered to give me a few lessons.
A Lovely Lady who wants you to improve giving you tips and tweaks to make your piano playing sound better, I play Let it be nearly the same but with added notes. She is a wonderful teacher and piano player and got a nice voice too, thank you Lisa.
All the Beatles songs are so good! Thanks, Lisa for the "Let it be" tutorial. I always enjoy learning other ways to play a chord so I don't have to fly around the keyboard.🥵
I just started watching this channel because I have decided to learn piano. I need a better outlet because my habit of whistling along with music every chance I get is really starting to drive everybody nuts. Not only I am impressed with your channel’s content (and can’t wait to explore all of it), but you in particular are just as talented a singer as you are a pianist. You have a very sweet singing voice, absolutely a joy to hear. You might also want to consider producing vocal coaching videos as well. Thank you for what you do! 😃🤙
thanks to this channel, I was able to really progress on the piano! Would it be possible to have a tutorial to learn how to play Love of my life by Queen please? I love this song
Hi Lisa, I love the way you teach! Thank you so much! May I request you to show how to transition when transposing to a higher key signature? All I do is V7 but it’s too abrupt!
Oh snap, my favourite paino teacher's back after a long time .. Just love your lessons, I have learned a hell lot from you. Thank you for everything. More power to you ❤️ P.S. You have an amazing voice 🤩 One of the thing on my bucket list would to collaborate with you on a HipHop beat 🎹 Also, if you could put out some lessons on Hip Hop/RnB piano, in depth ideas on Chord progressions, scales and melodies that I can use to create that 🔥🔥🔥 .. I'll be the happiest. Btw I'm a huge fan and been following you since forever ☮️
Yeah, those three happen to be my favorite, but when I hear another Beatles song, it gets added so now my list of favorite Beatles song includes practically all of their songs. I also love “ When I’m Sixty-four”. But of course among the rest of their songs. It’s really difficult to pick!
I'm old lol. .I want to know if I start piano at 38 can I hope to make progress and even play complex pieces? Chopin, debussy? And of course Beatles :)
This would be so much easier to practice if you provided a pdf doc with the chord progressions aligned with the lyrics, as you have in the video Playing the video over and over again in order to get it is tough.

Thank you! You all rock! ❤
Thanks, your teaching is beautiful just as you are
you are amazing since i started i've become so much better!

Paul said him, George & rink were stuck practicing Ob di ob la and John came late with the piano part worked out😊
John added the intro which was the part they had struggled to come up with.
Excellent 👌👌👌👏👏👏

Let it Be is beautiful but has sad memories for me. Played at my sister’s funeral.
How do you accomplish the split screen? I love this channel and it’s really inspiring.
Hi Lisa, I love the way you teach! Thank you so much! May I request you to show how to transition when transposing to a higher key signature? All I do is V7 but it’s too abrupt!

Please make it easy...

Why are¨nt you a song singer ? Your voice is fantastic
PM does not read music at all,
but knows it & plays it in his mind 🎹
Draw two circles. Now draw the rest of the owl.
Modulation topic would be also welcome
good call!
"The Beatles made the piano a pop star"
Beethoven has entered the chat..
Is this a song for a baritone singer
This would be so much easier to practice if you provided a pdf doc with the chord progressions aligned with the lyrics, as you have in the video Playing the video over and over again in order to get it is tough.
Can’t follow the chords
Practice. It will come.
Have patience, another words let it be😂
after 1.46 doesnt feel right to go back to c when singing with it
I like that their songs are pretty easy on piano. I don’t think any of them were very proficient at it haha.
Yeah..?? When can we hear some of yours..??😂
This song is by Paul, but John came up with the keys.
could you add the music sheets???..
we can only add them for members of pianote.com!
that was hard keep trying good teacher.
I mean.
I just kinda like listening to you play
It's fantastic, but You missed Hey bulldog, anyway I love You. Great
Why don't you play Sol min on Hey Jude?
❤❤
❤
Why do they call it c7?
because it uses the 7th degree of the scale!

I feel really dumb. This says it's for beginners and I can't accompany the change in chords at all. I get lost right after the first section.
It’s not meant for teaching, it’s meant for monetization
