Seriously one of the best vids I have watched in ages. Your interactions with the family members at the arts commemoration was so sweet. That is how one should travel. Curious, open, friendly, and respectful.
I'm from a race known as the Moran race living in the northeast region of India. As I've heard long back from my father and other paternal elders, our race had migrated from Mongolia more than a thousand years ago into this Brahmaputra valley of the state of Assam and so Mongol genes are present in our blood. It's interesting how people migrate and populate newer places, taking up newer names.
I am Kachin, from Kachin. We are called Singpo in India & Jingpo in China. Our greatgrand elders told us that we are descendants from the Mogolians. So, when we talk about our ancetral history, it dates back to Mogolia. The Kachins were described by the White as ''Warlike people'' due to our skillful and subtle fights against the enemies. The well-known evidence to show is when we fought against the Japanese who invaded into our land and they got defeated. We celebrated by our cultural "Manau'' dance, which we celebrate every year up to this day. Another occasion was when the British invaded. While the lower part of Burma fell under the British within days, it took over a month for the British to conquer the Kachinland. Comparing the advance arms and weaponaries the British soldiers were equipped with, the Kachin fighters only fought back with hand-made pellet-guns, swords, spears and traps set up in th jungle. So, Mogols gene sure is present in our blood.
@@efootballunitedyt.4685 Some information in mainstream historical records are actually not too authentic. Wikipedia has a lot of misinformation on this regard. In reality, India's northeastern region is full of Tibetan, Sino, Burmese and Mongoloid alongwith other Polynesian stock origin races, now mostly mutually assimilated. This assimilation has resulted in mixing of genes amongst the present day ethnicities. Hence you'll find a lot of subtle to notable anthropologically major and/or minor differences on the facial and physical appearances between them. For example, an Angami Naga is usually seen with a longer neck and sharper nose than those of a Sumi Naga although both are from the Naga ethnicity. Down here in the valley where I hail from, we have broader noses with stocky and more robust calves and thighs than most other ethnicities here like the Ahoms(migrated here from the Yunan province during the 1200s). There has never been an exhaustive and thorough anthropological research done on each and every race here so far and our history has always been oral with hardly any written records. Hence most modern historic records are based on oral information and assumption with some amount of anthropological study(which, IMO, isn't enough to establish origins in a concrete way).

Ulaanbaatar may not be the prettiest or the most interesting city lol, but it certainly has its own charm and it's pretty safe. Also the coldest capital city in the world! Really enjoyed this video, thanks!!
Is it good internet connection out there?
@@EllieEleonora Yep same internet as everywhere else lol
@@michelle.b9224 same as everywhere else?? not all places have good internet lol

Love azerbaijan from mongolia🇲🇳💖🇦🇿
you have absolutely NOTHING in common with them, except for the turkic language family
@@Alex_Gordon Not even that, Mongol and Azeri are 2 completely unrelated languages. One is a Mongolic language and another is Turkic.
The Azeris are Persian-Iranian, they are not Turks and they are not Mongols. Wake up from the illusion of the Turkish identity. The Turks are only in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and the Shanghai province of East Turkestan. Only these are the Turks. Anatolian Turkey and Azerbaijan are a different race from the Turks

@@Chishka921 maybe because turkish have some connection with mongolians…? Have you heard of ‘transeurasian theory( though its little outdated)’?

A place where we share our tears and laugher. Wecome to Mongolia. Hope you had such a comfort.
as a mongolian that isn't living in Mongolia, i'm so happy to see foreign people being that curious about my country. I went there to see my family this summer and seeing the capital by this video is bringing me there again. thank you !!
Welcome to Mongolia! It was interesting to watch your video from a foreign visitor perspective. Hope you have a great adventure in the countryside. Look forward to your next videos and thanks for visiting my beautiful country. 🙏 🇲🇳 ❤️👏
The clear blue sky is great.
This is so beautiful I cried. What makes the country are the people ❤
The people of Sarnia
Very nice I can see Ukan Bator, actually I am from Indonesia but when I was in Germany long time ago, I knew one person from Mongolia and he is my best friend.
Wanderful county.. with wanderful people.. ✌️from 🇰🇬
As a Mongolian, it's really cool to see foreigners coming to our country and having a lot of positive reviews about us. Even tho I, myself really don't like going to these locations myself
Is Outer Mongolia's independence from China a good thing or a bad thing? Is it right or wrong??????????😨😨😨
@@lili-xz8bm Of course it's a good thing. I know for a fact that China would absolutely exploit us and they will probably treat us like the Uyghurs. Hell no we're gonna a part of China
@@batmunkhaltanulzii161 Don't be deceived by the propaganda machines of Western colonial imperialist countries. Let's go and see the real living standards of the people in Inner Mongolia. Their annual income from grazing and farming is close to US$70,000 to US$80,000. They live very well, and so do the people in Xinjiang. Similarly, the population has increased sharply, and the standard of living is also ranked among the top in China, and the wealthy provinces in eastern China provide free assistance to Xinjiang and Tibet every year to build infrastructure such as roads and bridges, build brand-new dwellings, and life can be said to be getting better and better. , the Western imperialist countries led by the United States cannot see that the Chinese people's life is getting better and better, and spare no effort to suppress and contain China, which is really despicable and shameless. .😯😯😯😯

This blows my mind, they're very unique
Wow, they changed that State Department store too! When I was there in 2016, the interior was much older and the stuff the sold was different. I remember the very top floor was filled with Mongolian paintings and clothing/apparel.
thanks for the great video and impression! Looking forward to also visit Mongolia during our travels :)
Thats dope, will you make a food tour video? I grew up eating Mongolian food which was my preferred asian food at the time.
Hello everyone from Belarus! Mongolia is the country of my childhood. 30 years ago I left there. Since then I have been dreaming of returning❤
В Монголии больше вероятности встретиться с англоязычными, чем в России и Китае. Особенно дети.Часто они знают 2 иностранных языка.
Just like me
Im especially learnin japanese
Ya I know 2 Mongolia and English
Да это точно
Уверено, у них хороший акцент...
Ноооо некоторые монгольские дети плохо знают русский, чем английский 🤷🏻♀️
11:00 the apple shaped monument behind him is The Beatles Monument. The locals built it as a honour to the fab four and the freedom values they shared during the repression era of Soviet and Eastern Bloc (rock n' roll was banned during the 60's).
Hey very cool video 🥰! Im a Mongolian and i just wanted to let you know the state department store didn’t actually open in 1921, its just the year that Mongolia became an independent country.
Thank you, that made me laugh each time he mentioned it. Still a great video capturing the city center.
As a mongolian that lives in aus it was so great to watch you
I as a Serbian, wish to visit Mongolia once seeing the place as something quite unique and very beautiful
As an American that’s never been to Mongolia, but finds it interesting, I’m intrigued!
While watching your video, I'm always smiled and felt really good. Thank you for making a great video about my home country. As a Mongolian, currently living in Japan, your video makes me happy ☺️ Good luck
Mongolia is a beautiful country. I moved there 2 yrs ago. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world.
This video made me smile i would absolutely love to go back and see my family, would also love to try and learn my native language again since i forgot it since i learned english, beautiful country and people though.
I'm from Philippines and my friend is currently living in Ulaabantar
