my husband, who went to medical school, had a specific bucket in his anatomy lab, for 'extra parts' that were extracted during class. It was called the "fun bucket".
I really appreciate your story telling Ashley! And all the projects I’ve seen so far are awesome! I make “creepy” or “cursed” dolls and babies but you’ve inspired me to branch out!
I really love what you created with the violin. Very creative. Talk about thinking outside the box. LOL I love your stories as well. You make me giggle which is good for pain.
I love the cursed toy shop! My fave toy is the Jack-in-the-box! I have a bunch of pen springs, and didn't know what to do with them, but seeing you make the Jack for the Jack-in-the-box, I have an idea now. I love the story you told about the toy shop! Also, I love seeing Emily the cat in your videos. She's so cute! "Arting" isn't a word, but when you say it, it makes sense! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
My traumatizing movie story is actually about Jumanji!😂 I was 4 years old, and I still remember parts of the nightmares, of they boy turning into a monkey in a supermarket, which I had for a really long time. My parents were so angry at my relatives, which let the movie play while I was there. I absolutely love the haunted toy shop, and all of the other wonderful crafts u make! And the voice-over is always so entertaining and relatable!
Those ring stacking baby toys are called Rock-A-Stack. Well, that's the name of the official Fisher-Price brand version of the toy. And that is my favorite. I always thought they were cool looking.
I have your button jar and its smaller sibling. They were my parents'. I keep coffee and sugar in them. I mean they belonged to my parents, not that the jars parented me. See, I put an apostrophe in the word, where it belongs when two people own a single item. Anyway... I like your crafts. 🤩
Arsenic was in the green. It was the “first” green that was used. There is also plutonium glass art. Those were the days 😂😅. I love all of your art pieces! You have such a creative mind and I wish I had some of your creativity! I will definitely be looking to buy your book! 😊❤
OMG I loved the creepy toy box! I feel the bunny should have been the "bloody Bunny" lol 😆 Also hi Edger~ and Emily~ Also Jake, let your wife have a circle window! Lol 😆
My doggo's name is Heidi and we watch you a lot bc I do the art, but I'm also chronically ill so you inspire me from bed on my down days, like today. Anyway, Heidi (and me!) loved this video!
As far as bags go, plastic are probably objectively worse for the environmentz as paper bags can be recycled/made from recycled paper. Whereas plastic bags are harder to recycle. As a cashier, plastic was always within reach and easier to maneuver than paper
I heard (idk if its true) but I heard that paper uses a chemical to bind the tree fibers together that is actually worse for the environment to make. (it sticks around even longer than plastic) But Idk it could be an old wives tale or I guess a young wives tale...
been following on insta for a while and just now remembered I could follow you on youtube as well... which has led to me binge-watching the videos LOL Anyway! It's Arsenic Green you were thinking of, not mercury! (Though, really, mercury poisoning was also stupid common -- hat-makers used it! Thus the phrase "mad as a hatter"!) and now I'm going "oh man, has she already made a mad milliner haunted hidey hole yet..." Regardless, the violin was definitely my favorite of the cursed arts! (really looks like something you'd find in like... a Tim Burton film or something...)
Willy-nilly comes from the obsolete phrase will I, nill I, or "I am willing, I am unwilling." The original definition, "whether one likes it or not," gradually evolved into today's meaning. Along the way, variations on willy-nilly included "nilly-willy," "willing, nilling," and "William nilliam."
In its upright position, the Three of Swords signifies heartbreak, emotional pain, sorrow, grief, and hurt. It indicates a period of deep hurt and disappointment, often caused by the words, actions, or intentions of others
7:30 my grandpa always thought I would be fine watching whatever movie he was watching as long as he watched it with me to fast forward past anything he thought was truly inappropriate, but that’s how I ended up watching From Duck Till Dawn when I was about 8 years old. Which is a movie about vampires that set in a strip club.
OMG you said something about movie trauma!!! Well my sister and I are 3 years apart in age so when I was like 5 or 6 my parents decided to leave us home alone and my sister took it upon herself to put on….. PSYCHO 😒😒😖😩🥺😓🫠😵💫😵💫 so for YEARS I couldn’t shower without someone being in the bathroom with me. And also f*** that creepy creeper music it plays 🔪🩸🔪🔪🩸🩸🩸
The self plug in the 2nd one was *mwah chef’s kiss* 🤌 I also really appreciate you including mistakes because I always beat myself up for spending hours on something I hate so it makes me feel better 😂
Awww come on Jake, get the poor girl a circle window already!! ❤❤
I’ll be your bestie!!! And best friends tell you EVERYTHING you do RIGHT! Look-GREAT JOB ASHLEY! I love your backstories and the creep factor!

Little Chucky with a thirst for gore, nailed his sister to the door.
His mother said with humor quant, "Now Chucky dear, you'll mar the paint."

Willy Nilly comes from the 17th century meaning 'will I, nill I' or 'I am willing, I am unwilling’.
There you go! Love the videos
I love all the mini toys - especially the tiger and bunny.
I like the idea that the toy store is alive!
I've seen exactly two of your videos and hit preorder on your book so fast! Great content. I love all the creepy stuff and your back stories.
Bring back the attic monster. I want to name him and keep him forever
Mr magorium's wonder emporium would be a lot cooler if it was about this toy store instead
I really love what you created with the violin. Very creative. Talk about thinking outside the box. LOL I love your stories as well. You make me giggle which is good for pain.

15:18 you should've added a furby! (I love them but everyone else hates em)
Omg Furby could never be haunted!!! HAHA ok, no they are pretty haunted but I loved them so much as a kid!
Paper is better than plastic because it doesn't take as long to break down

Haha you reference Maximum Overdrive during the possessed toy store
Event Horizon was awesome, even as a child. However, CUJO is terrifying when you're 3 years old....
Thanks👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Love Tammy 💖💖
Amazing! THANK YOU for saying "Frankenstein's monster" and not Frankenstein 😅
I appreciate that too.. except then she said mercury green instead of arsenic lol💚
Yess here 1st .. like the kids say 🤣🫶🏻❤️❤️

Paper should bind to itself I've tried to recycle paper and used just water and it turned out fine.
you neeeed a circle window! Oh! get big sheet of plywood, cut a circle frame, slap over boring window, creepy it up. He can't mind that, right?
9:50 Maximum Overdrive
10:30 Are You Afraid of The Dark.
No Mister. Accent on the 'do'.
Love this!! About how long did it take to make, the toy shop? Love your commentary, it's like you're the voice of my brain!!😂

How long until you can paint once you sculpt? Does it have to be 100% dry?
Where can I find the mini people? Love your art and I preordered your book 😅

Green= lead paint, not mercury, unless that was a thing that I’ve never heard of
Edger
I too hate the “C” word - crafts. (What the heck were you thinking?!) Takes the art right out of art.

Ashley you are my deep dark soul sister ❤
Maybe your mom gave your teeth to your sister? (I think that she planted them, idky) neither do they!
It's sardo, accent on the do
SarDO! No “Mr”, accent on the “DOH”
Missed opportunity not adding a Ouija board.
I know! I should have... haha! I think I forgot it was a toy marketed to children. It always felt forbidden when I played with one as a kid.
The green paint was with Arsenic 🙈
Sorry, I can't stop myself. I love your stories. And the creepy crafts. But Arsenic ....
Maby in a she shead/work shop
