  • In this video I walk you through several F2L examples using the beginner's method I taught in my F2L Tutorial for Beginners video. I recommend watching that video (link below) first to familiarize yourself with concepts I mention in this video.

    F2L (First Two Layers) is the second stage of CFOP, where you solve the first two layers of the cube at the same time. It's one of the fastest and most popular Rubik's Cube speedcubing methods.

    you're the one who teaches me how to solve with F2L back in the years, thanks to you I always win speedcubing amongst my friends back in high school haha, now that I'm older I'm not as fast as I used to be

    It would be cool to see your actual solve so so we can see your finger tricks and hand repositions and such. I guess ideally slowed down someohow.

    Coming just from your beginners F2L tutorial, I've already found myself skipping ahead a little bit and solving these examples on my own!

    Where can I find those training cubes? or you made it yourself by combining cubes pieces manually?

    • @ParadoxCubing
      @ParadoxCubing  3 місяці тому

      I made them by combining pieces from a stickerless and a black cube.

    How long did it take you to memorise all f2l algorithms because it takes me 3 hours to learn 1 f2l cases?

    • @ParadoxCubing
      @ParadoxCubing  11 місяців тому

      I always recommend learning intuitively first so you can do every case yourself in your own way. Then, for the cases you’re inefficient at, learn algorithms one by one. Everyone learns at different speeds so take your time and have fun!

    Damn, I almost wish I didn't know F2L because using black pieces is a neat way to focus in on F2L and teach it.

    Videos are a bit out of order, at least for the first 6 videos:
    The Fastest SpeedCubing Method: Intro to CFOP for Beginners
    * CFOP: Intermediate Cross Tutorial
    F2L For Beginners | Easy CFOP Tutorial
    * F2L Example Solves for Beginners
    2-Look OLL Tutorial
    2-Look PLL Tutorial
    Havent gone thru the entire playlist, but I think you could skip the intermediate cross tutorial IF you are really familiar with the cube and can do the cross intuitively (if you've done enough solves with the beginner method, to the point of doing sub three minute solves regularly), and could probably skip F2L Example solves for beginners if again, you have a firm grasp of the beginner method and understand each algorithm's use cases. Four videos, about 45 minutes in total length and you've got a firm foundation for CFOP basic solves. This will alone will get your solves down to sub 1 minute times.

    This makes absolutely no sense if you only know the daisy method and your and your trying to learn this at home with your own cube 👎🏻

    • @therealglassofwater
      @therealglassofwater 3 місяці тому

      doing the daisy is the basics, if u wanna do speedcubing u need to go straight to making the cross (it saves more time actually)
