I've implemented everything this man has suggested and within the past year .. my physique has changed so much. The cues, the movement patterns, forgetting the weight, and focussing on movement and form. I still come back to see... To get the fine details. ... Because sometimes it's a lot. That part he mentiomed with the knees bending... And to keep them locked.... Was one such detail I couldn't remember. But practicing the movement ingrains the movement path. Thank you so very much Mike. I'm from Trinidad in the Caribbean. ... And if I was there I would hire you to train me. Love from the Caribbean.

Been watching @bigmikvanwyck 's videos since 2021 November. As a beginner I've been implementing is advice little by little (too old to have an ego right now) and the changes in my physique have become so noticable that friends are noticing the changes in me too.

SO I have been looking at other body building videos, just to see if I've been missing something and none of the ones I've watched come close to the level of detail and the most fundamental points Mr Wyk here points to. I hadn't missed anything, they all fall short. I even watched one guy, who was a really nice guy who has trained a lot of famous people espousing bench pressing to the throat with elbows at 90%!!! My point is, Mr Wyk's style, words and detail are, in my opinion, second to none. This channel will save you years of wasted effort.

I agree with most of your advice. But you're doing more of a front shoulder raise not lateral raise. 20 percent of that might. I said might hit the side laterals. Common mike..

Here is a superset i recommend for lateral head.
Do these after one another without any rest.
1. Dumbbell lateral raises. 12-20 reps (20 ish should be your max).
2. Tight Rubberband around both your wrist on a flat surface, keep tension sideways outwards, go up and down with your alternating hands until your shoulders are in great pain.
3. Dumbbell lateral hold (about 30-50% of the weight of your previous dumbbell set). Hold until your shoulders cry.
4. Wait 1 min and repeat 4-5 times. You have never felt pain like this in your shoulders before.
Mountaindog has a video on how to do those rubber band movements. Insane burn.

Ever since incorporating this technique, my shoulders have improved massively. I don’t feel any of my trap’s anymore and I have better contraction on my shoulder. Everyone in my gym looks at me funny because it looks like I’m just throwing weights around and rocking. Thanks for the tips Mike!💪🏼💪🏼
